Nydia felt something was amiss. Normally, the director wouldn’t point out someone directly and ask them to go.

“If you already decided to send Taylor, why not just ask her privately? Bringing it up in the meeting and asking if anyone wants to go, I said I want to go, and then you say it’s for Taylor. Isn’t this contradictory?”

Thinking of how Jesse had so much of Nydia’s money, she became so angry that her liver hurt. Those funds should have been hers.

“When I divorce him, he’ll definitely give me the money back. He’s not short of money,” Nydia said stubbornly.

“Are you out of your mind? You have several billion, who wouldn’t be short of money? Jesse doesn’t have that much liquidity!” Willette was about to be driven crazy by Nydia’s pig-headedness.

“How many days are we staying this time?” Nydia asked.

“We’ll be back on Saturday.”
