Reborn Before The Divorce

Chapter 131

She did not force Nydia, it was Nydia’s own choice. Nydia was in a dilemma.

“Okay, I’ll write it!” She took a deep breath and agreed, gritting her teeth as she knelt down.

“You move over there, don’t press on the carpet.” Rosalind waved her hand, driving her away.

Nydia looked at Rosalind, who had a satisfied smile in her eyes.

“Don’t you understand human language?”

Nydia moved to the side, her knees touching the icy floor, feeling humiliated. But she forced herself to bear it. She owed the Pascall family, and she needed to repay them. When she did something wrong, she had to pay the price. But for Rosalind, this was her last concession. there would be no next time.

She took the pen and began writing her self-criticism.

After kneeling on the floor for a few minutes, she felt that her knees could not take it anymore. They were hurting, and she was very cold. She had to try to put her body on the coffee table to share the pressure on her knees.

However…

Rosalind picked up her teacup and splashed it at Nydia.

“Ah!” Nydia cried out, looking at Rosalind incredulously.

The tea spilled on her neck, flowed down her shoulders, and soaked her clothes.

“What kind of posture is that? If you kneel, kneel properly, or don’t kneel at all! Otherwise, I’ll use hot tea on you next time.”

“Don’t let it drip on the paper!” Rosalind reprimanded again.

Nydia clenched her fists and endured it. The tea was warm and did not burn her skin, but it was uncomfortable being wet. She had to finish the self-criticism quickly. Under Rosalind’s gaze, she could only write while kneeling straight.

As time passed, her knees became numb and tingling. She gritted her teeth, and her lips turned pale. After twenty minutes, she could not take it anymore. She had written less than five hundred words.

“Write more legibly. Don’t write so sloppily. If I can’t read it, you’ll have to rewrite it.”

Nydia did not look at Rosalind. She just wanted to finish it quickly. Moreover, she couldn’t be perfunctory in her self-criticism, or she was sure that Rosalind would make her rewrite it.

Kneeling was not new to her. In her past life, she had knelt down to plead with Willette to spare two children’s lives. But in exchange, Willette had used a knife to cut her face and made the two children witness everything.

Thinking of this, her eyes turned sharp, and she wrote faster, silently counting the words. She did not want to finish writing and then count the words again.

“Mom!” Jesse’s voice suddenly came.

Nydia looked up at him, her wet eyes full of tears.

This one look made Jesse’s heart tighten. He asked in a cold voice, “Is there no chair in the house?”

The servants trembled. On one side was the master of the house, and on the other side was the master’s mother. Both sides were not easy to offend, but the master seemed to be protecting his wife.

Jeff immediately moved a chair behind Nydia, but did not speak.

Rosalind glanced at Jeff with a gloomy expression. She knew for sure that Jeff had informed Jesse, otherwise Jesse would not have returned at this time.

“What’s wrong with you? Even if there are no chairs at home, even if you have to borrow them outside, you have to get a borrowed chair. After all, Nydia is delicate and precious. If something happens, you will all suffer.” Rosalind said directly to the servants.

The servants were too bitter to refute.

“Why are you still kneeling? Don’t you sit when there is a chair?” Rosalind scolded in a low voice.

Nydia turned to Jesse and said somewhat embarrassedly, “Jesse, I can’t get up.”Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.
