Amelia’s Pov

I closed my eyes when I didn’t feel him close anymore then he chuckled saying, “Are you not a cute baby? Come on I gave my word and I am not going against them.”

“Oh…” That was what I could say at the time.

He turned on the shower as water-soaked my hair down to my body, he turned me around so I could face him as he placed his lips on mine, this kiss was the best I have ever had since we have been kissing, the water dripping on his body made me think dirty again because he was extraordinary damn hurt right now but he had his short now.

I finally had a good bath leaving him in the bathroom to have his, there I saw a beautiful dress already on the bed, I smiled taking the dress to put on, I looked gorgeous in it.

He stepped out to dress, taking off his towel I looked away, Damn I need to be getting used to all things by now, with time I should, I love my romantic relationship with my mate, it’s just everything that made me forget my past suffering with my parents.

“You can look now, I am done dressing..”

” hum.” I became speechless.

“I understand my love, come with me let’s join Simon for breakfast.”

“Sure.” We both stepped out together to have breakfast at the eatery spot at the hotel when Simon extended greetings with us.

“How are you feeling now?” Simon asked and I replied, “I feel great now.”

“That’s good to know, let’s eat together.”

While eating, Lorde started to feed me and Simon said, “Alpha Lorde, do you mean to make me jealous?”

“Does it look like this?” Lorde replied I could not help but smile, seems these two are closer than just being Alpha and Beta, I will call them best friends, I love to see them talking this way.

“I will get my mate soon just know that Lorde.” He replied.

“I will be waiting, by the way, love, your welcoming party is this Friday, I don’t like parties but I am learning to adjust because of you.”

I felt joy in my heart when he said this.

I was so happy because I was eating with people that are so happy with each other and free, this is how breakfast is supposed to be and I had with my parents also did something like this instead of maltreating me all the time and starving me at some times too.

We finished breakfast as we checked out of the hotel.

“My mom is desperately waiting for you with your sister.” He said.

“That’s true, they must be so worried right now.”

“You can say that again,” Simon added.

We hopped into the car as we drove back to Alpha Lorde Mansion heading to his very own building we live.

Opening the door, he said, “I will be with you my love, mom will be waiting for you in the living room, I need to do some things now with the beta.”

“Okay no problem, will be expecting you.” I took some steps when he said, “Are you leaving just like that?”

“I don’t understand, how should I leave?” I asked feeling so confused then he replied with a sad face saying, “You didn’t even kiss her or hug me.”

“Oh, that.” I rushed to hug him and he kissed me before departing with Beta Simon for some urgent business.

I walked into the living room when Alpha Lorde’s mother hugged me saying, “My dear child I am so happy to see you, I felt sick all night knowing you were in danger, I am so happy you came out alive and those dirty wolves faced their punishment too.”

“I miss you mom,” I said to her feeling so comfortable around her like she was my mother too.

“I miss you so much, have you eaten yet?”

“Yes I have mom, and the cake?” I asked when I saw the maids holding a cake.

“Well, it’s a welcome home cake meant for you.”

Truly Alpha Lorde’s mom is a lovely and social lady, she even baked a cake for me because I returned home in a good shape.

“Thank you so much mom, I do appreciate ”

“It’s nothing, I will send someone to get your sister right now, she has been worried.”

I knew Katarina will be worried about me.

“Worried my foot.” Read my wolf side spoke, I don’t know why she hates her so much, the door opened and it revealed Katarina who looked at me strangely like she saw a ghost, what happened to her or do I look so terrible in the wounds I sustained when I got captured? Why is she looking at me this way?

“Oh, there is Katarina already, no need to send someone to get her since she came by herself already.” Alpha Lorde’s mom spoke with so much excitement and I hugged my sister when she walked to me.

Katarina’s Pov

I woke up in the morning, feeling so tired and exhausted because I could not sleep last night, I kept thinking about the possibility of Alpha Lorde finding out I planned the whole from the beginning to get my sister kidnapped and killed at the same time all because my wolf side Leah won’t stop talking about it.

Come to think of it, did Alpha Lorde find Amelia last night? If he did, will the boys be spilling out everything from their mouths now? I will just deny them because they got no proof of our meeting to plan such a thing.

I walked to the bathroom to have my bath, while wearing my clothes, my maid knocked at the door saying, “Breakfast os ready ma’am.”

“Serve it at the dining, I will be out in a few minutes,” I replied to her and she left with a smile on her face.

I looked at my phone, I got no missed calls or text messages from anyone not even from mom, maybe she might still be at sleep or attending to some issues right about now.

I stepped out to have my breakfast and also interacted with people around when mom called me, I took an excuse to leave the place to my room to make the call.

“Good Morning mom.”

“Good Morning my dear Katarina, I was so weak last night that’s why I had to sleep early.” Mom explained.

“It’s no problem mom, have you heard from the dirty wolves?” I asked her.

“Not at all, they should have carried out the task right?”

“I don’t think they did mom, the last call I had with them was the fact she escaped and they were chasing her.”

“She did what? I am going to call and find out.”

“Okay, mom.”

I stepped out of the building feeling so frustrated on what to do when the Rogue passed telling me the Alpha just returned with his mate.

I could not believe the news so I had to rush to see things myself.

Getting to their part of the building, I opened the door to the living room when I saw Amelia in one piece with Alpha Lorde’s mother.

I was shocked like I almost got a BP right now, Alpha Lorde’s mom was happy too, I took some steps as Amelia rushed to hug me but in my heart, I thought, “What can I do to just kill you, Amelia? What exactly?
