“I am so happy we found her, though it pains me she is in this kind of state,” I said to Raja.

“But at least we know she is better now and we are happy that we are with our mate again, we did our duty without failing, I will have to rest now, make sure you take care of her,” Raja said.

“I will always take care of her and know I will be prompt to disturb you as well you know.”

“Whatever.” He replied and I laughed walking slowly in the lonely lane still looking at Amelia.

“I am so sorry they did this to you, it will never happen again, I promise to be by your side always, I give you my words under the moon tonight, I will never let harm come to you again, I will protect you always from all kind of evils okay?”

I said and once Simon was here with the car, I entered sitting with her in the back seat with her head on my lap as I caressed her hair gently not wanting to stop a bit, I love Amelia so much.

“I am happy we found her Alpha Lorde, we found our Luna.”

“Yes we did.”

“She is going to be fine, I have called the nearby nurse to meet us at the hotel, now.” He said and I nodded my head with a brief smile looking at him.

We arrived at the hotel in a few minutes and got our various rooms, I know Simon will never want to leave me here all alone, that’s why I like him so much, as my best friend and my beta.

We took two rooms, Simon was in one and I was in the other room with Amelia as I placed her on the bed.

And later, a knock at the door as I opened Simon seeing Simon standing with the pack nurse as they came in, I stood with Simon letting the nurse do her duty.

I remember the very first time I had to come back for her the I found her wounded, calling the pack nurse, I can’t believe such a thing will repeat itself.

This time around, my beta was here with me and when the nurse finished, she took her to leave and I covered Amelia with a blanket kissing her forehead, “Sleep well my love, tomorrow we are going home.”

“Let’s go for a drink.” Simon said and I needed that by the way.

We stepped out and sat at a lounge in the hotel as the waiter served us whiskey, one of our favourite brands.

“This is what I just need,” I said.

“Same here, we did a lot today and at least we were able to save your mate.”

“I am not happy because we lost him, the very person that would have led us to our enemy, just escaped from me the Alpha just like that.” I drank from the glass of whiskey as the waiter turned another drink in our glasses.

“It was not your fault you know, he masked his scent that was why and you would have caught him as well, seeing a text message about a missing mate, I know it could make one crazy, so you don’t have to worry, soon we will catch the enemies of the pack,” Simon replied as a friend with the tone of his voice.

“Thank you Simon though I will kill you after this, I am going to end you for good.” I teased as we both started laughing.

“Alpha Lorde, I have a feeling the enemy is living with us in our house hold and we should be more careful.”

“I was about to say that by the way, with what I noticed, I feel someone must have heard the shopping mall my mom was taking my mate but these are my questions why? Who?”

“We shall get to the root of all these, I know so and believe so as well,” Simon added.

“Also call the med team to be fast with the test result, let’s know what that beast is, let’s find out what they are trying to create.”

“What if someone is trying to challenge you as the Alpha?” Simon threw the question from nowhere.

“That can’t happen, the only person that would have fought with me is my cousin Andre but sorry to say, a werewolf who can’t trigger his wolf side can’t be an Alpha, Beta or a rogue.”

“If I may ask why is he not a powerful werewolf-like us?”

“It’s some kind of history I didn’t pay attention to you know but why are we even talking about it? No one is going to challenge me and my cousin loves me in as much as I love him okay?”

“Yes, Alpha Lorde.”

“We have said enough, right now I need to get some rest, good night Simon and you did well today.”

“thank you, Alpha Lorde, sleep well.”

We departed to our various rooms to have our rest.

I entered the bathroom to wash off the stress after which I joined my sleeping beauty, Amelia, on the bed wherein no seconds she already placed her hands on my chest holding, I smiled before sleeping.

Waking up in the morning, I feel so refreshed, a good rest is always the best, “Good Morning Sweetheart.” I said to Amelia who later woke up and kissed her.

“How are you feeling I hope you slept well?” I kissed her cheek.

“Thank you for..” I didn’t let her finish her words when I kissed her saying, “You don’t need to thank me okay? I am your mate and I must protect, we shall be going home today after breakfast.” She smiled at me blushing real hard, oh how I miss her.

Amelia’s Point Of View

I dreamt about what happened last night, how the werewolf came after me and the others who haven’t shifted, I thought I was going to die that night, I was getting very weak same with Red my wolf side, the silver is seriously affecting me.

I fell to the ground after missing a step, I was so weak, as the werewolf came at me, I used my hands to crossed my face closing my eyes when I heard another wolf roar taking the bad wolf, I opened my eyes with my hands on my chest.

“That was close.”

There I noticed he was the beta then I saw my mate looking so handsome, he came to rescue me, it was just a romantic sight to behold, he is damn good in combat.

When he carried me, I felt like my heart was about to explode, I love him so much and I am happy he didn’t let me meet my end last night.

I opened my eyes and saw him with me on the bed looking so dashing ever when he said good morning and asked about my night, I just wish to thank him again but his soft lips were locked to me, he kissed so passionately making me know this was his responsibility to always save me.

“Then let’s have breakfast,” I replied him.

“Not so quick, you need to have your bath now.” He said with a smile.

“Okay, I will walk to the bathroom, in a few minutes I should be done,” I replied to him.

“We are going in together and I will bath you myself.” I didn’t wish to believe what he just said, does he mean two of us are going into the bathroom together? He is going to bathe me?

“Nah, that can’t be possible right Red?” I asked my wolf side.

“Why won’t it be possible? He is our mate and we belong to him alone, if he wishes to bathe then I guess you can both accidentally mate and there we can become one you know, this is so romantic.” Red said feeling so excited.

“I don’t think I am ready for that, I think following the process is better, moreover we both are going to be naked in the bathroom.”

“So? Have you two not been naked before kissing even when you didn’t have sex? When you shift into a wolf don’t you get naked turning back to a human?” Red asked.

“Yes but not in this kind of situation you know? This is a bit different.”

“Grab the chance love, grab it now,” Red added.

“What are you thinking about? Don’t tell me you are thinking dirty already?” he asked with a wink.

I bite my lips because I thought dirty.

“Oh come on, I am just bathing you because you are stressed and have been through hell yesterday let me do this okay?”

I nodded feeling so shy, we stepped into the bathroom together and closed the bathroom door, I could not utter a word or take off my towel but he held me from behind taking off my towel gently as I felt his hot breath on my neck.

I could not feel my legs anymore, does he wish to mark me? Kiss me? Mate with me? Or bath me as he said?
