“Yeeee” Anaya screamed happily and ran out of the room to take her phone in the living room.

“Guess this is a perfect timing to carry out my motive” she thought with a bright smile on her lips.

“Why is he not picking up his call ?” Anaya grumbles loudly.

“This will be the fifth and last call I’m going to give him. If he did not pick up then I’m not calling him again… ” She mumbled and dialed the line again.

“He breathed out of relief when she saw the call was picked.

“Hello” Anaya heard a lady’s voice.

“Seriously, why does that voice sound like Daphne’s voice” she thought with a curious face.

“Hello” she heard again, which made her heart skip thousands of beats.

“Her hand mistakenly touched the red button which made the call come to an end.

“What is it, Anaya ?” The maid Emerson assigned to her rushed to her with a worried face.

“I’m fine” Anaya tried to smile in her bed.

Daphne found herself angry when she realized Emerson’s second phone was in her pocket. She was still wondering how his phone was in her pocket. When a call came in.

“Are you going somewhere ?” Trinity asked when she realized Daphne was about to step foot outside.

“Hello” she was faster and she regretted it that moment.

“Hello” she uttered out of patience. But the call ended. She hissed loudly and inserted it back in her pocket. She inhaled and exhaled when she realized she was in front of Emerson’s door.

“Come in” she heard him. Which made her widen her eyes in shock.

“How did he know I was standing in front of his door ?” She thought and snapped out of her thoughts when she heard the door open.

“Will you prefer standing all day ?” He asked with his head popped out.

“Your phone” she stretched out her hand.

“How did my second phone get to do with you. ?” He asked curiously.

“Second phone ??” Questions seem to be on Daphne’s mind.

“I met it in my pocket” she scoffed and rolled her eyes. Emerson was stunned and crossed his hand on his chest.

“Rolling your eyes at me now” he chuckled and she gasped.

“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean it. But I’m sorry for something else” she bowed her head with shame.

“For what ?” he asked with a serious expression on his face.

“I picked your–

“You what ?” he interrupted with a yell.

“I’m sorry” Daphne covered her ears.

“Give me my phone” he rasped and unlocked his phone. He heaved a sigh of relief.

“You can go,” he smiled.

“Did he just smile ?” Daphne was left stunned.

“She’s my younger sister, ” he said and shut the door. Somehow Daphne finds herself giggling.

“Lorenzo sent you” Mrs Ellison asked she nodded out of fear.

“Okay.” She hummed and released a soft breath. She stood up and winked at the men. (Door closed)

Two gunshots were heard which made Mrs Ellison to halt.

“Those f**ls should have used a silencer ” she said and walked away.

“Mom” she mumbled which made Lucas storm on his feet.

“I’m scared” she mumbled as she took his hand.

“It’s fine. I know she’s here for a reason” Lucas uttered and pecked her forehead. Emerson rushed out of his room, when he heard the news.

“Did you call your mom ?” He asked Allison immediately he got outside to the main compound.

“No. I didn’t”

“Did you call me Mason ?” Emerson asked.

“No I didn’t” he replied grumpily.

“No one did,” Olivia replied.

“Then what’s she doing here?” Hudson interrupted.

“Emerson” Mrs Ellison said into the megaphone. Every clan member was curious about what’s going to happen next.

“I guess you are here for a reason.” Emerson said aloud.

“Should I get you a mic?” Olivia asked.

“It’s not useful. She will come closer” he said confidently. Which she did.

“Allison” Mr Ellison called as she touched her cheeks.

“Why did you come here unnoticed?” She asked with a serious expression on her face.

“I came here for the safety of you all.”

“Safety ?. Seriously, We are safe here mom” Allison uttered in a frustrating way.

“Lorenzo and Pablo are after my kids and that’s because of you and–

“Lorenzo and Pablo” Emerson shuttered.

“Yes.. He’s fucking out there, trying to hurt me.”

“Did you bring Madison here ?” Mason interrupted.

“I brought my kids here”

“Kids ?” Emerson uttered with a questioning look.

“Yes. Heard dad had another step daughter” Mason scoffed.

“Seriously. That old man won’t stop to amaze me” Emerson scoffed.

“So what did you want me to do?” Emerson asked curiously.

“I want to drop Madison and Ariel here. I don’t want to involve the kids in this —

“But I thought you said, it’s not safe here” Allison giggled.

“I’m dropping them in your care, Allison”

“Okay mom” Allison replied with her face at Olivia’s face.

“I brought the spy with me. She’s a maid to Lorenzo’s girlfriend.” Mrs Ellison added.

“The f**l keep using the weak” Emerson scoffed.

“I will take care of her. Drop Madison and leave” Emerson said coldly.

“He has changed his mood” Serenity mumbled.

“Come down kids” Mrs Ellison said aloud. Which made Madison get down from the front seat to open the door for Ariel at the back seat.

Meanwhile, Trinity and Daphne were just stepping out of their apartment when they noticed how silent the clan was.

“Where did everyone disappear to ?” She asked Trinity.

“We are outside already. But it seems something is going on. ” She replied with a stressed out expression.

“Did the boss call an emergency meeting with our knowledge ?” Daphne asked again.

“I don’t know anything about Daphne. Let’s get there first” Trinity replied sincerely. Her side face got Emerson’s attention but her next move left him speechless. They arrived at the point where Madison was getting Ariel out of the car when she saw her face.

“Ariel” she screamed which made everyone divert their attention to her.

“Ariel” Mrs Ellison mumbled as she kept wondering who could know Ariel here.

“Daphne” she called with a shocking expression on her face.
