You More Than Anything In The World

Chapter 1255 Are You Missing Mommy

Chapter 1255 Are You Missing Mommy

“Even so, that's a lie!”

Zachary chortled, grinning so widely that his eyes were mere slits.

Darius flashed him an indulgent smile. “You're right, Zachary. Your daddy indeed lied, and he even had us do it with him!”

Hearing that, everyone was beyond amused.

After Gavin and the others had waited for a while there, Tim regained consciousness.

“Tim!”

The children and Darius surrounded the hospital bed, staring at him in exhilaration. Text © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.

“Are you still feeling unwell anywhere, Tim?” Shaun queried, stepping forward to look Tim over.

“No.”

Shaking his head, Tim yawned, appearing rather lethargic.

“Are you still exceedingly sleepy?” Shaun asked gently as he touched the little boy's face.

“Yeah.”

Tim eyed the man. Subsequently, he swept his gaze over everyone standing around his hospital bed.

“Do you remember what happened to you, Tim?” Zachary questioned, worried that he was still groggy from sleep.

“I had an allergic reaction,” Tim murmured.

At once, relief suffused Kingsley and Darius. Phew! He still has a vivid recollection of everything.

Shaun then ruffled Tim's hair. “Other than feeling sleepy, Tim, you still remember everything, right?”

Tim turned his gaze to his siblings. “Have you all gone to visit Mommy?”

“Yeah. Are you missing her?”

Tucking the covers in, Gavin scrutinized his brother.

“Yeah,” Tim admitted in a whisper.

“Daddy told her that you went to a gathering with Grandpa. She misses you a lot too, but she's afraid of intruding on Grandpa's gathering, so she doesn't dare call. Do you want to phone her?” Jasper divulged, lest his brother misspoke and give the game away to their mother.

In response, Tim shook his head. “I'd better not.”

I'm a bit sleepy now.

“It's okay. If she asks, just say that you're sleepy. It's fine as long as it isn't a video call,” Oliver consoled.

“Just call Mommy, Tim. Then, you won't miss her anymore, nor would she suspect anything. We won't make a peep later.”

Jesse helped to take Tim's phone over.

It was a newly-bought phone. Tim rarely used it since they mainly utilized their smartwatches to contact each other.

Tim scanned his eyes over them all. It was only when Darius gave a dip of the head that he placed a call to Arissa.

Arissa, on the other hand, was over the moon to receive a call from Tim.

Her voice was as gentle as ever. “Tim!”

The corners of Tim's mouth turned up uncontrollably, and he greeted joyfully, “Mommy!”

“Are you still eating with Grandpa, Sweetheart?”

Arissa found it strange that she did not hear any noise from the other end of the phone.

“No, we're in the car.”

Tim flushed bright red, embarrassed to lie before everyone there.

Everyone merely smirked before turning their heads away for fear that they might accidentally laugh aloud.

“So fast? Are you full?” Arissa's concerned voice drifted over once more.

“Yes. I ate a lot!”

Tim did not dare say anything else, but she did not suspect anything in the least, considering his honest character.

“Why do you sound somewhat weak, Sweetheart? Are you sick?”

Deep within, Tim was moved. How incredible that Mommy could even tell that much from my voice!

“I feel like sleeping, Mommy. But Grandpa won't allow me to do so.” He cast a glance at Darius.

Utterly amused, Darius interjected, “I told him to wait until we've arrived home before sleeping. He was feeling drowsy just now. That's why I had him return your call.”

“I see. If you're not unbearably sleepy, Sweetheart, talk to Grandpa and wait until you're home before sleeping,” Arissa urged.

“Got it, Mommy. Have you had dinner?”

“Yeah. I ate with Gavin and the others. They've also gone home. When you arrive home, take a quick bath and sleep earlier.”

Arissa proceeded to take a look at the time.

Hmm, the kids must have arrived home. Perhaps they've even taken their baths.

“Okay. You should also sleep earlier, Mommy!”

“I will.”

Arissa did not notice anything amiss. After chatting with Tim for a while, she sensed that he was really sleepy, so she decided not to stay on the phone anymore.

In fact, she felt sorry for him and could not help but tell him to take a nap first.
