It’s been a year since Ethan and I got married, until now I still can’t believe I’m married to the man I love. We have gone through a lot of problems and destiny has separated us for how many times but here we are now happy to be with each other.

At first our friends couldn’t believe it when we told them that Ethan had proposed to me. I also can’t blame them because they thought we weren’t really okay and we are still adjusting because of what happen, what they didn’t know was that I forgave Ethan already because I thought that nothing would happen if I prolonged it because we both lost our child and knew our angel would be happy when we finally got along with his father.

While Belle and Gian are already in a relationship, I don’t know what really happened and why he broke up with Maxine. We also witnessed how miserable Gian’s life became when they got  separated and it was good because Belle stayed by his side.

Until now I’m still working in Montreal Company until the end of my contract and I will probably not renew because my husband won’t allow me to work again.

I’m currently cooking lunch because I plan to take this to Ethan’s office these past days because he’s been too busy so I decided to just visit him because I have nothing to do.

I also spent about an hour in the kitchen before I finished cooking. And then I went upstairs to take a shower and get dressed. I never called my husband to let him know I was coming.

It was exactly 11am when I was able to fix everything so I called the driver to take me to the Hernandez Company. It only took us about 30 minutes until we reached the opposite side of the building, I just told the driver to go back home first and not to wait for me anymore.

I went straight inside and just used the private elevator reserved for Ethan so I could get to the top faster. When I got to the floor where his office was I saw his secretary.

“Good Afternoon.” I greeted him with a smile.

He immediately looked at me. “Good afternoon Ma’am. I’m sorry and I didn’t notice you right away.”

“No worries, it looks like you’re doing a lot of work today. Is Ethan here?” I asked him.

“He left with a client, but he’s coming back in an hour.” he answered me.

“Oh okay. I’ll just wait for him inside his office.” I said.

“Alright Ma’am. Do you want me to call him?”

I shook quickly. “No need, he didn’t know I was going. I just wanted to surprise him.” I smiled.

“All right Ma’am. I will also have my lunch. Have you eaten already?”

“Yes.” I answered and entered the office.

About 20 minutes ago I suddenly heard a voice coming into the office and I was not mistaken because the door opened and my husband entered so I smiled at her who also immediately disappeared because I saw a woman with him .

“Agatha?” he exclaimed.

I smiled at him. “Hello.”

He quickly walked over to me and kissed me on the lips. “Why are you here? Why didn’t you tell me you were coming?”

“I just want to surprise you, that’s why I didn’t call you and your secretary said you’ll be back in an hour.” I answered him.

“You should call me so you don’t have to wait for long.”

I slapped her on the shoulder. “It’s okay. And then it looks like you have a meeting too.” I promise.

“Mr. Hernandez, thank you for this day. I’ll go ahead. See you at the next meeting.” she said and smiled at me and I also smiled back.

“Alright Ms. Sanchez. Thank you!” My husband made a short promise and the woman nodded and left.

“Who is she?” I ask.

“She’s one of the new clients.” Ethan replied and hugged me.

“Hmmmm.” my weak promise.

“Why? If you are thinking something negative baby stop it. She is just a client.”

I looked at him. “I did not say anything.” I promise.

“I know you so I’m telling you right away,” he said laughing.

“Advance thinking” I exclaimed.

He laughed. “It’s better to say that to you right away than to think negatively. So why didn’t you tell me you were coming?”

“I told you I just wanted to surprise you, that’s why I didn’t inform you. Just in case you have another woman here you have no time to hide her.” I joked.

“As if there will be, you are my only woman and our child. Okay?”

“Have you eaten already? I cooked your favorite food but I guess you’re done.” I said.

“Really? I already finished my lunch but of course I’ll still eat what you cooked.”

I took what I was carrying and arranged it on the table, and he sat down as well. And when I opened everything I was carrying, he started eating.

“Don’t be too workaholic, you might get sick.” I promise.

“I can manage a baby and another thing after this project I can already rest properly.”

“You still need enough rest. You’re not a robot.” I said, annoyed.

“When I go home, I can rest. Aren’t you my rest, so when I just see you, my strength returns.”

“Whatever, do you still have work needed to finish?” I asked him. ”

“I already don’t have a schedule this time. My last meeting was with Ms. Sanchez, so let’s go home together.Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.

“But I’m still going somewhere baby.” I said.

He looked at me and  raised an eyebrow. “Where? You’re not going to work, are you?”

I laughed. He didn’t really want me to work in Montreal but somehow I still forced him.

“No, I just have to buy something at the mall.” I answered him.

“I’ll come with you.”

“Alright! Finish what you’re eating now so we can leave.” I command him.

He just smiled and continued eating.
