Ethan POV

I slowly went to the room where the nurse said where Agatha was, I saw that the door was open so I immediately saw her. All I wondered was when I heard how she talked to the doll she was holding.

What happened to her?

Why is she like that?

I slowly walked closer to her because she didn’t seem to notice my presence because she just focused her attention on what she was holding while talking to it.

“Agatha.” I call her name.

She immediately startled to hear my voice, she looked at me and her eyes quickly widened.

I was about to take a step closer to her when she started shouting.

“No! Don’t come any closer!”

I don’t know how I will feel at that moment because of what she said. What’s happening? I tried to take another step but she just kept shouting and started to cry so I immediately stopped.

I heard the door open and Belle hurried in as if she had just arrived.

“What is happening?” Belle sighed as she looked at Agatha and she was even surprised to see me.

“Ethan, w-what are you doing here?” she asked me.

I was about to answer when Agatha suddenly spoke. “Go away! Don’t come near me.” she pleaded while holding her head.

Belle quickly approached her and hugged her tightly. “Calm down Agatha, I’m here. No one will hurt you, okay?” she softly said.

“B-belle she is here.” Agatha said while crying.

“Don’t worry I’m here. I will never leave you.” Belle’s promise.

Soon the nurse hurried in and approached where Agatha had what she had injected into it.

I don’t know what’s going on and why the woman I love reacted like that when she saw me. For almost a month more than wanting to know why I got this far and why the three hid the truth from me.

Seeing that Agatha had lost consciousness so Belle slowly lifted her, it looked like the nurse had injected sleeping pills into her. When she lay down properly, Belle said something to the nurse because I saw her nod.

Belle walked over to the door and motioned for me to follow her.

As I descended I saw Belle sitting in the living room while drinking water. When she noticed me she looked at me seriously.

“What are you doing here Ethan? How did you get here?” she asked me.

“It doesn’t matter how I got here, what I want to know is what happened to Agatha and why you kept it from me so that you know where she is.” I said seriously.

I saw her laugh. What’s funny about my question? I don’t know if Belle was just teasing me or she was insulting me. “You’re asking me why we hid Agatha from you? Aren’t you so busy with your oh so called friend Melissa that you can hardly remember what Agatha is in your life, right?” she said sarcastically.Content © NôvelDrama.Org.

“I’m serious here Belle. So please don’t be sarcastic” I said seriously.

“Me too Ethan, Don’t blame us for why I keep Agatha away from you and also don’t blame Zey and Gian for why they didn’t tell you the truth because I told them not to do it, because I don’t want to make the situation worse. As you can see how Agatha reacts when she sees you. ” she said.

I’m still confused by what Belle is saying, why doesn’t she tell me the whole truth?

“Belle I’m here now and I’ve seen her, you don’t have to hide what you know from me because my mind is in a mess now. There are so many questions in my mind that I want an answer and I know you are the one who can answer it.” I said.

I saw her sigh. “Since you’re here already and  you’re my friend Ethan there is no reason now to hide everything from you, but I want to ask you if you’re ready to know the truth and what happened to Agatha? Will you handle the pain?” she said.

“I’m already here and facing you Belle because I want an answer, I’m going to lose my mind if I can’t get the answer I want.”

“Before I tell you what I know I want to say that you are very stupid! You are known to be smart in the field of business and other things but you are stupid to know the truth. I want to clear Agatha’s name to you. She did nothing bad to Melissa because if there’s anything wrong with the two of them, it’s not her. You’re so blinded by Melissa’s lie that you hurt the woman you love so much. ”

I cringed because of what she said. “I know Belle, I know what I did to Agatha was wrong and I also know what really happened that Melissa dropped herself and Agatha didn’t push her. I was a fool in the part where I blamed the woman I love for something she didn’t do. I felt like I didn’t trust her, that even her side I couldn’t listen to. I push her away. ” I said softly.

Belle smiled at me. “That’s not the only thing you should know, because whatever happened to Agatha was Melissa’s fault.”

I looked at her as I frowned.

“What do you mean?” I asked her.

She handed me some water first. “Drink some water first and you might not be able to handle the paint. I’m warning you Ethan you won’t like what you will find out. Honestly I’m mad at you, I’m so mad that I blame you for what happened. If you just trust the woman you love, you both didn’t end up. And the little angel is still there. ” She said

I took the water she gave me and drank it.
