Ethan POV

I still follow Gian and I wonder why he is here in the subdivision where Belle bought a new house. He said he will pick up Zey from her friend but it is impossible that they are living here.

I just followed him until I saw him stop at one of the house. I’m not mistaken because the owner of this house is Belle. Soon after I saw Zey get out and go straight into Gian’s car.

I waited for them to leave before I got out of my car. What are they doing in this house? And out of curiosity I went inside.

When I entered I saw a nurse coming down the stairs. I wondered why there was a nurse here, after all, Belle wasn’t sick.

“Who are you?” I asked the nurse to her surprise.

“W-who are you?” she asked me back. I think she didn’t know me at all.

“I’m Belle’s friend and she owns this house, so who are you?” I promise.

“I’m sorry Sir, I only saw you here today, that’s why you are not familiar to me. The only ones who are here often are Ms. Belle, Ms. Zey and Sir Gian.” she explained.

“Is Belle here?” I asked her.

“I was sent by the hospital to take care of and watch over a patient because sometimes Ms. Belle needs to go to work.”

My forehead furrowed even more. “Who is the patient you are referring to?” I asked her.

“Ma’am Agatha, it’s been how many months already Sir since she was discharged in the hospital and I’m the one who is watching over her, while the doctor is here one a week to check her.”

I feel mixed emotions when I hear her mention Agatha’s name. All this time the three of them knew where she was but they didn’t even tell me even though they knew I was looking for her.

“Ahm, where’s her room? Can I see her?”

She immediately nodded. “Her room is on the left side door upstairs but I’ll just remind you Sir that Ms. Agatha’s condition is not well yet.”

I just thanked her and walked upstairs. I don’t know why I’m nervous but at the same time I’m happy because I’ll finally see her, I just don’t know why they hid the truth from me.

Gian POV

I’m currently with my cousin now, she needs to be in the office for some important matter, I really don’t know why she didn’t bring her car with her.

“Where are you really going?” I asked her.

“I already told you, didn’t I? I’m going to the office because I need to sign something.” she answered.

“I know, I just want to be sure that you are telling the truth. So that I can leave immediately.” I said.

“You won’t wait for me?”

“You said I’ll just pick you up and take you to the office, I’m not your driver.” I promise.

“Damn you! I know you are not busy today. Just wait for me and come with me to the grocery store. I need to buy something before I go back to Belle’s house.”

“I’m going to fetch Maxine.” I said seriously.

“Are you going somewhere after you fetch her? Don’t lie to me because I already talked to Maxine and I know that you drive her only to the cafe.”

“Next time I’ll tell my girlfriend not to talk to you and she might be infected by your craziness.” I said.

“Duh! Maybe you forgot we’re cousins ​​so if I’m crazy you’re crazy too. Don’t worry about it because I will also tell Maxine that she needs to think many times if she’s sure about you, she has no future with you if she will still choose you to be her boyfriend.” she said.

“And you think she’ll believe you? She loves me.” I said calmly.

Soon we arrived at her place of work so she quickly went down but before she left she looked at me first and reminded me that I needed to accompany her in the grocery after I fetch Maxine.

And because I’m too lazy to come back, I just told her to go straight to the supermarket and have a grocery and then I’ll just pick her up after. Fortunately, she agreed and did not argue with me anymore.

I also didn’t take long and told her that I need to leave because Maxine is already waiting for me. She was going to a Cafe that she built because she had things to finish there, she had her own office in the Cafe so sometimes she was there.

I am lucky with my girlfriend because she is kind and hardworking. All I can say is that she changed me a lot.

As I was driving down the road to Maxine’s condo I couldn’t help but feel guilty because I couldn’t tell Ethan the truth that I knew where Agatha was, I knew he was having a hard time finding her. But as Belle said it still won’t be good for Agatha when she sees Ethan..
