Ethan POV

I didn’t know this was how she felt. I sighed and then hugged her.

“I’m sorry baby, I just don’t want to have an argument between you two, you’re my girlfriend and she’s my friend. I just want you to get along. ” I said.

“I don’t have a problem making friends with your friend and I don’t restrict you to who you’re with, you know that. I just don’t understand why you need to lie to me when you didn’t know I was seeing you while talking to you on the phone. I don’t know what else my place is in your life, with her you have time while with me you have a job. ” she began to cry.

“I’m sorry, I’m just used to being your priority always.” she added as she wiped the tears from her eyes.

“Baby, you are my priority because you are the one I love and I want to spend the rest of my life.” I said.

“Maybe in the past but now I don’t feel it anymore. But don’t worry about it, I will get used to it sooner.”

“I will make it up to you Agatha, I know it was my fault and I hurt you. I’m sorry if I didn’t notice that. But don’t think that you are not my priority now or I’m replacing you with someone else. Melissa won’t be here long either and she’s going back to another country after the vacation. ” I promise.

She just smiled but the sadness was still obvious in her eyes.

“Don’t think too much baby, you know I love you so much. ” I added.

She nodded. “I’m sorry if I’m avoiding you.”

I raised my eyebrow. “So you’re really avoiding me? Hmm. ” I said.

“It’s not like that, I just think that you need time.”

“You are all I need. So next time please tell me if I did something wrong and if you are feeling anything. ” I said and kissed her.

After we talked and got together we decided to go to sleep because it was already night and I still had work tomorrow.

FASTFORWARD

Agatha and I were okay after that night but Melissa and her  weren’t because I noticed it and I just ignored it because they weren’t fighting.

Agatha and I are currently eating lunch because I decided not to go to work today.

“Where is Melissa?” I asked one of our maids.

“I think she is still sleeping, Sir.” she answered me so I nodded.

“Good morning guys!” Soon I heard her voice.

“It’s good that you’re awake already. I thought you were still asleep.” I said.

“I woke up early, I just didn’t go down right away because I’m not feeling well.” Melissa said.

“Just eat now and take medicine so you can rest immediately.” I said.

“That’s also my plan so I went down, do you have any schedule today or no? Can you help me later after we ate, you know I’m having a hard time taking the medicine. ” she said artfully that Agatha smirked at her.

I looked at Agatha because I saw her smirk but she just stared at me.

“You’re not a child anymore but you still can’t take medicine alone? What if you’re alone? That means you can’t drink any medicine?” Agatha suddenly promised.

“It’s not like that, sometimes I dissolve the medicine or put it in water.” Melissa replied.

“So you can do it, why do you need Ethan to do that to you? You have your own hands to do it.” Agatha’s unbridled promise.

“Baby enough, let it go.” I said to my girlfriend.

“It’s okay Ethan, Agatha is right. So it’s okay for me to do it, I’m just dizzy. ” Melissa said sadly.

“I’ll do it later, just eat now and go back to your room.” I ordered her because it looks like my girlfriend’s misfortune is working again.

Agatha suddenly stood up so I looked at her. “Where are you going? Are you done?” I asked her.

She nodded. “I’m full.” she answered briefly and walked out of the dining room.

I stood up and told Melissa that I would just follow my girlfriend so she would finish the meal and I would just take her medicine to the bedroom.

“What was that for Agatha?” I asked her.

“What? I’m just asking her, not a big deal. ”

“You know the person feels bad and then you are provoking her, she’s just asking for help.” I said.

“We have so many maids to help her right? Why does it always need to be you always?  Does she can’t move without you? ”

“Enough with this! I don’t want us to fight over this matter. Just be more considerate, baby please. ” I said calmly.

She stood up. “What else can I do? She is sick, so take care of her. I don’t want to be at fault when she dies without seeing you. ”

“Agatha!” I shouted but she just turned her back on me and went inside.

I didn’t follow her in her room because I know that we’re gonna fight only. I just took Melissa’s medicine to her room.

I stayed in Melissa’s room for a long time because she wanted to talk to someone first because she wasn’t sleepy until I didn’t realized the time.

Unbeknownst to the two, Agatha was watching them because the door to the guest room where Melissa was staying, she had been here before and was listening to what the two were talking about. At first she thought that Ethan would still follow her but he didn’t.

She just went downstairs and ate alone, then went straight to her room and lay down. She did not go to the young man’s room. What Ethan didn’t know was that Agatha was also sick because he was in Melissa’s room to take care of her.
