Gian POV

I was almost stuck when Belle left, I couldn’t step on my feet to follow her because I didn’t want to hurt her more.

“Gian.” I heard Maxine call my name.

I knew she was standing behind me so I quickly faced her.

“Are you happy now? Are you happy Maxine with what you did?” I said with full of resentment.

“I’m sorry Gian. I didn’t mean to, I didn’t know she was here.”

“Is your sorry can change what has happened? I think you’re happy now because Belle left me, you’re happy because after you left me and hurt me you broke the relationship I have now with the person I love the most.” I mock her.

“You don’t know how miserable I was Maxine when you left me. My life was almost ruined because the woman I chose to love left me and then Belle came. The three of us have been friends with Ethan since we were in college. Belle is an ideal woman and anyone will like her so I don’t wonder why I fell in love with her. I’m okay. I’m happy. I am content in my life with Belle but you came and ruined it. ” I added.

“I just love you Gian so I did everything I could to get you back. I’m hoping that you still love me until now and there’s still a chance that we can fix everything.”

“Stop! If you think I’m coming back to you just because of what happened to my relationship with Belle you’re wrong. I won’t let her leave me. You know what I’m talking to you in a casual way because of our memories and I loved you before but because of this shit you planned and for ruining my happy relationship I don’t know if I can forgive you. You already had a chance before but you wasted it.” I promised emphatically and then turned my back on her but I still couldn’t take a step as she quickly blocked my way.

“Gian, please forgive me, I know what I did wrong. I just really loved you from then until now and I’m sorry I left you.”

But no matter what she says I have no intention of listening anymore, after what she did to us she thinks I can still forgive her? I’m not a fool to do that!

I pushed her and walked into the elevator.

I quickly got in my car and drove to Belle’s house. I need to talk to her and be able to explain to her.

When I got to the opposite gate, I quickly got out of the car and rang the doorbell. A maid immediately opened the gate when she saw me.From NôvelDrama.Org.

“Is Belle here?” I asked.

“Yes Sir, she just came home.” she answered me.

I walked into their house and went straight upstairs to her room.

I knocked a few times but no one answered but knew Belle was inside.

“Babe, please talk to me.” I beg her because I know she can hear me.

“Just leave Gian.” she answered. I know she’s crying.

“I’m not leaving here until you talk to me.” I promise.

“No matter what you do I won’t talk to you. I’m begging you Gian please give me some time, I’m still in so much pain right now.”

I gasped when I heard what she told me. And because I didn’t want to force her, I did nothing but leave. I’ll give her time to think first.

When I got back in the car I took my phone out of my pocket and called Ethan.

“What’s with the call fucker?” he said.

“Where are you? Did you and Agatha come home from vacation?” I asked him.

“No, we’re going home tomorrow. Why? Is there a problem?”

“I just need someone to talk to and a drink.” I said.

“Silly! I already know you, maybe you’re too stressed at work again. Belle and you must be on vacation too.”

I smiled bitterly when I heard the name Ethan said. We just talked for a while and I said goodbye to him because I didn’t want to disturb them.

I didn’t tell Ethan first about our problem because I knew he would get mad at me.

Belle’s face suddenly entered my mind when we talked earlier. I feel like she’s hurting so much and I know she thinks I still love Maxine until now.

It’s true that I love Maxine but just as a friend and not in a romantic way because I love Belle more now. I wouldn’t trade someone who didn’t leave me and took care of me when I was down.

I need  to regain Belle’s trust. I just hope she listens to my explanation and gives me another chance to fix our relationship.

I glanced at their gate again for a moment before driving home to the condo.

When I got to the condo I was collapsing if I laid my body on the bed, I felt like I had run out of energy today. Belle and I were so happy together that now something different had happened.

But I will do everything so that she can forgive me and even if I have a hard time I don’t care as long as I can get her back.

Soon I got up and went to the bathroom to take a shower before I went to sleep. I think I need rest because I’m so tired right now.

I soaked in the bathtub for almost an hour to keep my body and head cool. I would have liked to call Belle but she might be even more unable to think.

When I felt a little better, I went out of the bathroom and got dressed to go to sleep.
