Belle POV

I’m here at Gian’s condo because he said he’s just going somewhere and will come back right away but because I really want to know what’s happening to him I decided to follow him where he’s going. I don’t understand myself but I have a different feeling.

I hurried down to the condo building and I saw his car, he hadn’t boarded yet because he was still talking to someone on the phone. I waited for his car to leave and then I took a taxi because I didn’t bring my car with me.Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g

I told the driver to follow Gian’s car where it was going and it immediately complied, as we followed him I couldn’t help but feel nervous. I have a lot of trust in my boyfriend but I just can’t help but not think things through.

I was surprised to see  Gian’s car stopped in a condominium building. What will he do here? Will he talk to a client?

When I saw that he had gotten off and I quickly paid the taxi driver and secretly followed Gian, I needed to be careful so that he couldn’t catch me. I waited for him to get on the elevator first and looked at which floor he was going to.

I’ve been wondering because if it is a client, he doesn’t go to the condo because he doesn’t want an issue so I was thinking why he is here. I don;t remember that he has family or friends that are staying in this condo.

I saw him standing in a unit as if waiting for someone to open it and after a few seconds it came inside. I immediately came out of my hiding place and walked to the unit where Gian entered, my luck because the door didn’t seem to be closed because it was pitiful so I peeked and my eyes widened to see who was in front of Gian. I thought they had no communication but why are they together now?

And because I wanted to know why Gian went to her I stayed, making sure they wouldn’t notice me because they seemed to be talking seriously.

Maxine POV

“Would you like to eat first?” I asked Gian.

“I’m already full, I came here just to talk to you and I’m leaving right away.”

“What do you want to talk about?” I asked him.

“I’m ready to tell Belle everything, especially the picture you’re holding because I know what really happened that night. I don’t want us to have a problem.”

I didn’t expect that to be what Gian would tell me. He seems to have come to his senses but I still won’t give up.

“Oh c’mon Gi I know  you still love me until now because if not you didn’t hide this things to her and you will not agree to see me often.” I said

“You don’t you agree that I still love you? I just don’t want you to ruin my relationship with Belle.”

“If you really loved Belle completely you would have told me in the beginning that you don’t love me anymore but you never did that Gi and until now you can’t directly say it to my face that you already moved on.” I said.

“I know you still love me, that’s why you’re confused between the two of us because Belle was there the times I left you, sometimes I wonder if you really love her or you just loved her because she was there when you needed someone to lean on.” I added.

“You have no right to command me what to do because you don’t know who I really love. And also I want you to know that I’m already happy with my life.”

“Really Gian? So what happened when we were at the bar? Why did you respond to my kiss? That means you still love me right? Poor Belle, she didn’t know that her boyfriend was confused.” I said, provoking him.

“Shut up!” a trace of anger on his face.

“Why? I’m just telling the truth, you know in yourself that you still love me and you love her too but you don’t want to hurt her because she became your friend before you became in a relationship and I’m sure that until now she didn’t know that we have a communication and we are seeing each other other. That’s cheating Gian.” I said.

“You have no right to tell me that thing because as far as I remember you left me even if I begged you that time right? You are the one who ruined our relationship before and now you’ll come back as if you didn’t do something wrong?.”

I sighed and approached him. “I know it’s my fault why you found someone else, I left you even though you didn’t want me to leave. But I’m here again right? I came back for you and I feel that you haven’t lost your love for me. I can’t blame you for why you looked for someone else and why you became in a relationship with Belle, she was the one you leaned on during the times your life was miserable because of me so I won’t wonder why you fell in love with her, but I believe that your heart still has room for me. Belle is kind, beautiful, loving and successful and knows she will understand about this matter. ” I said seriously.

“I love her and I don’t want to hurt her.”

I felt pain when he said that to me. Belle seems to have already won his heart.

“What about me Gian? What am I to you?” I asked him.

“I love you but I can’t.”

“Is it because of her?” I asked.

“Max as you can see I love Belle, she’s the one who was there at times that I almost ruined my life and I couldn’t afford to hurt her.”

“Just because of that? That’s your reason why we can’t be together again? But you will still hurt her when she finds out that you don’t love her completely.” I said.

“That’s not what I mean!”

I couldn’t speak again when I noticed Belle at the door who was just stunned and Gian seemed to notice that so he looked where I was looking.

“B-babe?” Gian almost gasped as he uttered her name.

Belle ran and Gian quickly followed, I called him many times but he didn’t even look back and I knew that today I was a loser, that the man I love no longer loves me. He already chose her.
