The Woman From Hell

We took in many sights along the way. We spent quite a long time walking, and I was a little hungry. Theo noticed that there were some snacks not far away and ran to get me some after asking me to wait for him some distance away. I had not felt this way for a long time.

Sitting on a small stool by the side of the road, I waited for Theo to return. I was looking down at my phone for a bit when a shadow fell into my vision. Thinking Theo had returned, I looked up and was stunned to see the person who had arrived. "Mr. Nibel, why are you here?"

It puzzled me greatly to bump into Mr. Nibel in this old town.

Hands in his pockets, there was amusement in his eyes. "I heard this place is very special, and since it's not far from Whaldorf, I was suggested to come and take a look. I didn't expect to meet you here, Miss Wanda."

I frowned. This somehow felt like it was not a coincidence. However, I could not say anything about it and could only smile slightly. "It's not bad here. I came out for a stroll with Theo this weekend as well."

"Oh? President Grant is here too? Where did he go?" Nibel began looking around for Theo as he asked this.

"He went up ahead to get me some snacks. He should be back soon."

Nibel looked in the direction of my finger. "It seems I've interrupted you two. I shall take my leave first then."

I had no intention of keeping him, so I just smiled and said nothing.

Theo returned with the snacks the moment he turned to leave. He was also surprised to see Nibel. "Mr. Nibel, you're here..."

"I came to sightsee and ended up bumping into you two. I'd rather not be a third wheel."

"Since you're already here, let's stick together, then."

I did not understand why Theo would want to keep him around. I glanced at him, but he did not look at me.

"I'm fine with it, but I don't know if Miss Wanda minds my presence."

Since Theo had already invited him, it would seem petty of me if I were to say that I did.

I shook my head and smiled. "Of course not."

"It's my pleasure, then." Nibel glanced at the snacks in Theo's hand. "They smell good. May I?"

"Sure."

With the addition of Nibel, our two-person trip became a three-person trip.

I was still feeling gloomy when we got back to the hotel at night.

When Theo came out of the shower, I could no longer hold it in anymore and asked him directly, "Why did you invite Nibel to join us?" "Has the Madam been in a bad mood all afternoon because of this?"

"I just don't understand. We were supposed to relax with just the both of us, yet one extra person ended up joining us in the end. The mood was great but it went away." I pursed my lips. was just unhappy since our two-person trip had been ruined.

Theo came forward and took my hand. "Nibel is suspicious and fickle. I'm afraid he might annul the

contract if we don't keep him happy. Shouldn't we give him better treatment?"

"I did hear that he often annuls contracts, but I thought it was fake. So it's true?"

"It's true. He can afford to pay the penalty, so naturally, he has no hesitation. We'll be at a loss if we

were to lose his technical support."

"Alright, I get it." I nodded, feeling a little relieved.

He patted my head. "Better?"

I looked at him. "Yes, but you got too close to Nibel this afternoon. He seemed to be very happy that you were with him. It was so strange."

"Don't think too much of it. He's a foreigner, so he's inevitably more open. Shall we go to sleep?"
