“That’s what happened the morning she returned. I want you to help me investigate who pushed the scandal that far and why. I learned that someone was paying for it to stay up there. I want to know who and why?” Kyhe said to him, ending his memory. Then request his help looking into the scandal. Kuwain looked at him a bit surprised. As he remembers the messenger telling him, his friend would come asking for help!

“Suddenly why?” Kuwain asked after driving off! Kyhe was silent for a moment…

“I don’t know but Pinnock might have done it to anger me, but he must have thought it through and see that it would also affect him, because he doesn’t have his mother’s favor then there’s her. Jhonia would hate him because he would want to show off! He lost a lot of favor and gained a lot for making himself look like an honest man who realized his mistake and is willing to fix it. But he didn’t change… I visited a hotel some time back and I found out Jhonia caught him having another sleep with. She looked angry, not sure what for though. I don’t think she’s giving up on him easily.” Kyhe said looking down at his phone as he began explaining that Nearce wouldn’t have done it, after seeing it through knowing he didn’t have his mother’s favor and it would hurt Jhonia. He said to Kuwain explaining that Nearce never changed and why he said so, after seeing her angry it made him believe Jhonia is not going to give up Nearce that easily.

“But you give up on her?” Kuwain asked him, waiting for his answer, he chuckled!

“Stop it. I know you Kuwain, but I know my parents better. They will be disappointed and frustrated with me, I gave up on her because she won’t give up on him. This much will save me the pain and heartbreak. So, don’t encourage me. Got it?” Kyhe said to him, telling him he knows ‘him, Kuwain well but also knows what his parents will be like if he continues to chase after a married woman and why he gave up her, telling him not to push him into it.

I am sorry buddy but from what Mrs. Pinnock and that messenger is doing, I doubt they will stay together much longer or maybe i’m wrong and it was right to let her. Kuwain thoughts.

One week later! Kyhe was enjoying his moments of pleasure when Jhonia stormed into his office.

“Now is not the time for apologies, but I’m. Mr. Knight, your mother is on her way up!” Jhonia said quickly stating his mother is coming, she rushed over picking up the female clothes as quickly as possible handing them to her…

The door opened and his mother entered the office, Jhonia and Kyhe sweating under AC was not something that would usually happen. She walked over and sat down on the extended couch.

“Mom, wh”

“I stopped by because your phone is switched off… Ahem. Jhonia was unavailable so I decided to stop by. Jhonia, have lunch with me?” Mrs. Knight said slowly scanning the office where she spotted a female foot under Kyhe’s desk she paused then cleared her throat saying to Kyhe then she asked Jhonia to join her for lunch.

“Yes. I would love to.” Jhonia smiled and responded to her removing her cloves after Mrs. Knight got up and walked over to her with a smile.

“See you at home Kyhe.” His mother said in a disappointed tone and left pretending she didn’t see the toes of the female feet under his desk! …

“Why do you suddenly come to the office, Mrs. Knight?” Jhonia asked while going down the elevator together.

“Well, my son thinks it’s not best to bring you around because you’re that man’s wife. I understand that you are not the same kind of bird, therefore you won’t fly together.” Mrs. Knight said to her, and she was surprised a bit, but she smiled and nodded because she knew very well now, how Kyhe is and can be when it comes to people he hates.

“Yea, I understand. Do we really have to have lunch together? You should really keep your distance from me too.” Jhonia said to her then asked, telling her she should stay away from her too.

“Is this because of Kyhe?” Mrs. Knight asks as the elevator stops.

“Whether it is or not, Mr. Knight and I, we drew some lines that shouldn’t cross and as someone else’s wife… I- You shouldn’t try to be around me and ask me out rumors might spread and hurt Mr. Knight-”

“Jhonia, don’t you understand my son just yet. Did you two sleep together?” Mrs. Knight said to her, cutting her off as they walked out the company suddenly, Mrs. Knight asked and Jhonia stopped with surprise. “He didn’t tell me, at least not willingly. He must not yet realize it either. Now, did you sleep together?” Mrs. Knight said to her, Jhonia breathed out softly. Together, they enter the car and Mrs. Knight then asks.

“It was mistake but yes, we sleep-”

“Did he touch you?” She asked to cut Jhonia off!

“Are you referring to having sexual activity with me and your son, Mrs. Knight?” Jhonia responded to her asking?

“Yes. Did my son put hands on you in any kind of way?” Mrs. Knight responded then asked as she looked at her.

“Are you asking me because you think he actually got between me and that thing I called husband?” Jhonia kept her calm and responded to her asking. Mrs. Knight holt instantly on breathing thinking Jhonia might have seen through to what she’s up to.

“Honestly speaking? Yes, I want to know if my son stepped between you and your husband.” Mrs. Knight asked, and responded to her own question for Jhonia, then said to her.

“I see. Kyhe have touched me, yes. But he didn’t come between us, no. My husband was cheating on me before I even knew your son existed. I began working with hope he would have changed but it turned into heartbreak and accusations when he did touch me. I allowed him because he made me feel safe and needed. We have only kiss twice, yes, we did sleep together and that’s all it was. Sleeping together, he didn’t sexually touch me.” Jhonia said to her. Responding to her question, then began explaining how she didn’t know of Kyhe, yet she hope Nearce would change instead he continued to hurt and accused her. She explains to her how Kyhe was able to touch her, but it was because she allowed him to.

“I’m sorry, Mrs. Knight. I have lost my appetite. I don’t think it’s right that we share our time for lunch, it’s no longer necessary.” Jhonia apologized to her and spoke. She then explained what was not necessary.

“Send her back!” Mrs. Knight said to her driver who whirled the car around taking the Jhonia back to the office.

“Do you have feelings for him or is it just him?” Mrs. Knight asked Jhonia… Jhonia kept silent while her car was taking her back to Sky.

“If I do and if I don’t what difference does it make or will it make? I’m still a married woman the last time we all checked.” Jhonia finally spoke, responding to her and asking she then stated the obvious that keeps them separate. Mrs. Knight sat in silence and waited, thinking about the right words and hope they won’t come out wrong.

“I know. But I have gotten attached to you therefore, married woman or not! I don’t intend to stay away from you.” Mrs. Knight said to her, then explained to her that she was attached to her and won’t stay away.
