The Billionaire's Regret

Chapter 193

Chapter 193

Marco laughed as he looked at Ivy. “You came up with a hundred ways to irritate Thor, didn’t you?” As she smiled, Ivy’s eyes curved in lovely arcs. “He has an odd temper that needs to be checked from time to time.” Marco agreed with a nod. Jimmy greeted them as soon as they stepped outside. “You’re finally out, Ms. Morgan!” Mr. Reed is concerned that you will be hungry because you haven’t eaten anything since breakfast. A man like him, attentive, kind, and wealthy, is truly a rare breed.” Ivy rolled her eyes and cast a wary glance at Jimmy. “He can then become obsolete!” Jimmy shrank back and felt compelled to speak. He gave Marco a sidelong glance, coughed, and stepped between them to separate Ivy and Marco. It was strange to see the three of them walking together. The two on the sides were tall and slender with great looks, while the one in the middle was a short and chubby impediment. Jimmy had no idea he had ruined a beautiful picture. He was hopping around like a groundhog. “I didn’t expect you to be here, Mr. Seely! Ms. Morgan, weren’t you supposed to be here to see your professor? What a strange coincidence, huh?” Marco walked forward in silence, not intending to respond. Ivy vowed that she would never go out with Jimmy again! She ignored Jimmy and looked at the scenery on the other side. Jimmy’s self-assurance was shattered once more. He had an epiphany and turned to face Bill. He extended his chubby arm and called to him. “Bill, take a photo of us! After all, it’s unusual for Ms. Morgan to visit here. We should photograph this moment!” Bill narrowed his eyes and fixed his gaze on Ivy. Ivy paused for a moment before nodding. “Sure.” Bill took out his phone calmly. When Ivy called out to Marco, he didn’t move and debated whether he should leave. This material belongs to NôvelDrama.Org.

“Would you like to join us, Mr. Seely?” Marco agreed after lowering his eyes for two seconds. He took a step forward and leaned in towards Ivy. Jimmy’s bright face stiffened slightly, but he quickly regained his composure. ‘Ms. Morgan only invited him to be polite. That has to be it!’ Jimmy smiled broadly as he stretched his hands to the top of his head to form a heart. He was overjoyed for this opportunity because it was an honor to be in the same frame as the beautiful Goddess, Ms. Morgan! Jimmy separated Marco and Ivy. Marco’s awe-inspiring regality was on full display. He stood there expressionless as if he were giving a press conference. Bill held up his phone, hesitant to take the photo. Jimmy’s arms shook as he held it up. His arms were becoming achy as a result of the long wait. “What’s taking so long, Bill?” Bill silently hung up the phone. “It’s ugly.” “What?! Ugly?! Ms. Morgan can’t possibly be associated with that word! She’s a stunning Goddess!” Jimmy became enraged and lectured Bill. Bill’s pupils constricted. “You’re ugly.” Jimmy’s arms were furiously crossed as he exhaled. “I don’t think so!” He dashed over to tell Bill what he thought. Bill abruptly raised his phone before Jimmy arrived. There was a flash as he took a photograph to capture that moment. Bill put down his phone calmly. “That’s a lovely image.” Bill then walked past Jimmy and handed Ivy the phone. “What are your thoughts, Miss?” When Ivy saw the picture, she smiled and took it over.

Because of the drizzle, the surroundings were drenched. Because Marco and Ivy did not have an umbrella, their hair and clothes were sprayed with fine water mists. The background was a little hazy, but there was a strong focus on the two people. There was a one-person gap between Ivy and Marco after Jimmy left in a rage. They both appeared regal and reserved as they stood there. Their gazes collided as they exchanged bright smiles. The image was exceptionally harmonious and lovely. “Not bad, is it?” Marco approached and cast a glance at the phone. “Not too shabby.” A casual shot was still a sight because they both looked so good. Ivy texted the photo to herself. She realized it had been a while since she had posted anything on social media, so she shared this photo with a caption. (A day to remember.) She noticed Windy and Agatha’s instant attraction. Duke liked her photo almost immediately after she posted it. Ivy smiled as she put her phone away and handed Bill’s phone over. Bill took his phone and returned to his original position; his face expressionless. This minor incident was over in a flash. Jimmy wanted to get back between those two, but Bill stopped him. “I’d like to go over there. Don’t yank me back!” Jimmy squirmed his chubby body, attempting to use his weight to his advantage to escape Bill’s clutches. On the other hand, Bill quickly squeezed Jimmy’s arm, immobilizing him. “Don’t go over there,” Bill stated flatly. “Why?” Jimmy was perplexed. Bill’s tone was cold and uncaring. “Because I don’t want to see that irritating image again.” Jimmy barging into Ivy’s depth of vision was excruciating for a bodyguard who had to walk behind her. Jimmy sighed and rolled his eyes. In a rage, he clenched his fists. “Don’t you think we’re friends?” Bill gave him an odd look.

“Of course not!” Ivy and Marco took their time leaving campus. Many passing students turned to look at the couple. Marco and Ivy had stunning looks and noble temperaments that drew everyone’s attention. “Mr. Reed sent Jimmy, isn’t he? Mr. Reed appears to be genuinely concerned about you.” Marco’s voice was highly light, devoid of emotion. He sounded like he was chit-chatting. Ivy cocked her brow. “My father probably asked him to follow because he’s afraid I’d be in danger.” Marco laughed. “Chairman Morgan is well-intentioned. It’s a shame that the inclement weather has hampered Mr. Reed’s trip.” “He’s also sick as a result of the rain. I’m guessing this trip will be over soon.” Ivy spoke apathetically. Marco cocked his brow. “No, not always. Mr. Reed is clearly attempting to create opportunities with you. Do you...” “It’s meaningless. So long as my father likes it.” Ivy’s voice was monotone. She could tell the difference between love and being touched. She was only touched and guilty towards Wyatt at the time. She hoped she’d never have to face those feelings she’d kept buried deep within her heart. She was not repulsed or disinclined to respond to Marco’s unexpected question. It was most likely due to their chance meeting, recent contact, and connection with Thor. “Please accept my apologies. I didn’t mean to upset you by bringing this up.” Marco’s voice was soft and gentle, like the rain. Ivy cracked a grin. “It’s unimportant. Even if you don’t bring him up, he is still there.” Before he spoke again, Marco stared at her side profile for a long time. “It may seem arrogant of me, but there’s something I’m curious about, but you don’t have to answer if you’re uncomfortable.” Ivy cocked her brow. “All right, Mr. Seely.” In any case, she always responded to whatever she pleased. “Do you still like Mr. Reed, Ms. Morgan?” Marco asked a direct question because he was interested in the answer.

Ivy’s jaw tightened slightly as she asked a question to which everyone wanted to know the answer. She didn’t say anything, but her eyes grew somewhat darker.
