Sir madame has run away again (Lily and Carson)

Chapter 427

Chapter 427

“That’s greedy of you. How am I going to give you a flower garden? Even if I could, I don’t have the

time. It’s late.”

“Hey, that was just a figure of speech,” I retorted. “No one asks a stranger for a garden of

flowers. Unless it’s stupid.”

“Just take it and stop rambling.” Annoyed, Eric raised his voice.

Hey, that’s not how flowers were supposed to be given. I was not a beggar, but I still reluctantly

accepted. However, before I could pick it up, he grabbed it back and threw it out the window. “What are

you doing? You are crazy?” I was shocked.

The next moment, he floored the accelerator, not even looking at me. The car, being good, accelerated

quickly, much to my shock. “What are you doing?” Eric stared straight ahead without saying a word, so

I quickly buckled up. Did I run into him again? Why was he angry? “What’s the matter with you? Why

are you angry?”

Despite my questioning, he sped up, ignoring me, and I raised my voice. “Eric, can you stop this

nonsense?!” He continued accelerating, still ignoring me, sol took a step back. “Can you explain why

you are doing this? Not saying anything is rude.”

Finally, he slowed down. “Am I just a stranger to you, Lilian?”

I was surprised that he was angry about this, so I apologized: “That was a slip of the tongue. You are

not a stranger, so please calm down.”

“And that?”

Hey, I already apologized. What else do you want? I complained silently. Because of my fear of him, I

quickly said, “Sorry. I won’t say it again.”

With that, Eric stopped the car and looked at me. “Lilian, you are not an easy woman, but I am not an

easy guy either. Did you understand?”

I shook my head, confused. “I know you’re not, and I don’t think you are either.”

“I don’t want you to see me as a guy who flirts in a club.”

What? Why? Like if you’re not going to flirt, then get real. You are not so innocent. I dismissed it by

default but pretended to comply. “Clear. I won’t say it

any.”

“Then you know what to do.” He finally calmed down.

“What do you need?”

“I want to have dinner. I’m starving.”

I looked down at what I was wearing. “In my pajamas?”

“Do you want to change?”

“Why don’t we go to a hawker stall?”

“The one back in the day?”

“No, it’s another. The food is great, and they aren’t spicy. I’m sure you’ll love it.” I looked around and

noticed that there was a place of clay broth around

here.

Eric looked a lot less irritated now. “Where?” Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.
