Darrell entered inside, instinctively glancing around, his gaze softened when he saw Alessandro.

“You’re alive man!” He yelled, going to hug Alessandro who grinned.

“It’s nice to see you again,” Alessandro replied.

“Where the hell have you been? What happened to you? I have your phones, been trying to track you for a long time” Darrell disclosed, bringing out their phones and Isabelle beamed.

“Wow, thank you so much” She replied ecstatically, collecting the phone.

“You the best man, thanks a lot,” Alessandro replied.

“So…. why are you here and what are you gonna do about the news circulating, some rumors say you’re dead, some said you’ve been hiding, so many stories you wouldn’t wanna hear” Darrell disclosed and they sighed.

“When we were coming back from the movie premiere, we were kidnapped, we escaped through an old friend. They chased us and, having no other place, we jumped into a valley. We were floating when they rescued us” Alessandro summarized.

“Do you have any clue of what could lead us to who kidnapped you? Can you still remember the location?”

“I can only remember Liam… I can get the pictures we took together so you can try to track him, sadly that’s all I remember” Isabelle replied, scrolling through her phone.

“I found some juicy information about Ann, she’s a serpent!” Darrell confessed and Isabelle giggled.

“There’s a big secret between her and Mario, been trying to find out what it is but there’s no clue. Mario was the one who set up your father during the sextape saga, Mario tried to kill Ann, the time she got shot, it was Mario. I don’t know what’s between them but I think Mario is trying to kill your father..”

“What?” Isabelle exclaimed.

“From what I’ve discovered, there are several times Mario tried to kill your father but Ann has been helping him. The attack on Andrea’s burial was Mario’s plan to kill the president… there’s something else… Mario was the one who ordered the maid to poison your family, unfortunately Andrea died” Darrell dropped and everyone turned silent, thinking deeply at how cruel Mario could be.

“What kind of father is he? Why is he doing all these?” Brianna demanded.

“He wants to be the president, if he becomes your father’s Vice President, his main plan is to kill your father and become the president, He once offered Ann a position if she supported him but she turned down his offer, probably because she might become the First Lady when your father wins,” Darrell replied.

“How would you know the secret that’s between them?” Alessandro demanded.

“I’m still trying to find out, your father and Ann both killed lots of people during the last election , mostly ministers who opposed them, they are still planning on killing lots of people and now that you’re missing, they’re using it as a good opportunity to taint their rivals, your father has a special force which he uses to carry out his evil operation. He plans to build a new airport that would make his smuggling business easy… Also Ann is planning on how to eliminate you permanently” Darrell confessed.

“Damn!”

“We need to act fast or else they would carry out their plans under our nose” Thomas urged.

“I’ll start with the fundraiser, I could make a video with Brianna, asking people to donate money for those who are homeless, Darrell, you would be in charge of giving out houses and money. Thomas and Alessandro could open a social media account and disclose all their secrets to the people, Darrell I need you to find who’s trustworthy and has good intentions for this country amongst all the presidential candidates, it’s time for justice to take its course” Isabelle replied, clenching her fist and they nodded their supports.

“When should we start?” Brianna demanded.

“Now.. I’ve forwarded the picture of Liam to Alessandro, he would forward it to you Darrell”

“Cool, I’ll send it to my man now and tell him to find out everything he can get, he’s quite fast and we could get a reply within two hours…” Darrell replied.

Roberto’s POV

“Where could Isabelle be?” I thundered, staring at the bunch of mediocre I called staff, Ann was beside me, typing on her phone, she had been.

“Sir, we’ve been trying our best to find her. We found the car she was last seen in. We can’t find her guard also and his parents don’t have a clue of where they are” The head replied, fearfully and I threw a cup at them.

“Are you insane? I pay you to do what most technicians can’t do and you’re telling me you can’t find them?! I don’t give a fuck if they’re dead or alive, find them! We can’t keep lying to the press, they’ll get tired of it some day” I replied, and Ann gasped, motioning for him to come close.

“Is.. Isabelle? Open Instagram now and join Isabelle’s life video!” I instructed, my heart beating very fast as I stared with disbelief.

“What is she doing?” Ann blew hotly, frowning while staring at Isabelle who was making a video, pleading with wealthy people to donate money for the homeless people.

“This is outrageous! Such an embarrassment! How would she be begging for money?” Ann fumed, increasing my growing anger.

This is total madness, what has come over her? She disappeared for more than a week and now this is how she comes back?.

“Call Isabelle’s line and try to track the phone, do everything you can and make sure you find her location!” I instructed, heading out with Ann who was blabbering about the video.

“Ann please, I have a lot on my plate, don’t add to it!” I thundered and she clamped her mouth shut.

“There’s news right now, our rivals are making comments that your administration is a failure and you can’t afford to provide shelter for those we drove away… Isabelle has refused to pick the call, they can’t track her until she picks it” Ann disclosed and I sighed, this is getting out of hand.

She’s supposed to be here helping me gain more votes but instead she’s making a fool out of herself and bringing shame to me.

“Mario is raising a group of people, I think he wants to start leaking out our secrets…” Ann trailed and I raised my hand.

“That’s enough for now Ann, I’ve told you to eliminate him. Do not bother me with petty things” I replied, trying to call Isabelle but she didn’t pick the call.

“Our spy just told me that Isabelle and Alessandro were hospitalized and they escaped today, he said someone was trying to capture them when they escaped, he’s trying to track the person who helped them” Ann disclosed and I held my forehead, this is becoming too much.

She was hospitalized but she escaped and now she’s making videos and trying to ruin my campaign, what is all this? If I ever get my hands on her, I’ll make sure she never uses a phone.

Isabelle’s POV

I stared at my phone, hissing as my dad’s image popped on my screen. I don’t understand why he’s calling me.

I would have picked and blasted him but Darrell instructed me not to pick any call until he was done putting jammers in the house.

I couldn’t deny the fact that I missed Lettice, I can’t say the same for Aurora but she’s still my friend though I can’t invite her over but Thomas has promised to bring Lettice over.

“What are you thinking about my love?” Alessandro demanded, hugging me and I breathed in his masculine scent, sighing and patting his hand.

“Lots of things, do you think we could succeed with what we’re planning? The way Brianna and Thomas are involved, aren’t we endangering their lives?” I demanded and he kissed my cheek.

“As long as nobody knows where we are, we are safe. If we could plan all these under their noses and take them by surprise, I’m very sure we would succeed, you should think about positive things” He answered and I smiled, trying to figure out what good deed I had done to get the best man in the whole world.

“What about your family? Are they safe? I pray my father doesn’t hold them captive”

“I’ve told Darrell to inform Diamond to let them know what’s wrong and try to stay safe, I also pray nothing happens to them.. What if your father loses the election, do you think we would be safe? It’ll be worse and more deadly once we disclose their secrets because the way would try to find us. It’ll also cost a lot, disclosing their secrets could get them jailed, are you sure you wanna continue?” He demanded and I nodded.

“Justice must surely prevail, if I don’t do this now, someone else would do it and I might even get jailed with them because I’m also part of the conspiracy” I replied and he kissed my cheek.

“I feel like the luckiest man on earth, having a wife like you” He muttered and I smiled, wrapping my hand around his neck.

“After all this saga, we could plan our wedding. I’d like to have it in Miami, with your family and friends,” I confessed.

“You mean with our family and friends, my mother sees you as a part of her family already, getting married is just letting the world know you’re mine, I love you babe” He replied and I hugged him, trying not to cry.

“I want us to relocate to Korea or China, somewhere far from this place with new friends and a new beginning where we would forget all our terrible past, we could start taking lessons..” I trailed and he burst into laughter.

“Hold your horses princess, it’ll take almost a year to learn that foreign language, we can’t just go there, we would be like aliens if we don’t know how to communicate with them” He replied and I smiled, placing my head on his as we stared at each other.
