It had been 1 week already, Isabelle and Alessandro had been in coma since, Brianna made it her job to check up on them everyday.

She walked inside with Thomas who was talking to the doctor. She sighed sadly, touching Isabelle’s hand.

“I wish you would wake up soon, I miss the radiant smile on your face..” She mumbled, kneeling close to Isabelle.

“I want them to be off record, make sure no maid comes inside this room and the nurses who visit should never disclose who they are to anyone” Thomas instructed and the doctor nodded before leaving.

“Why didn’t you inform the president? Why are you telling the doctor to keep their case off record, I’m sure the president must be worried and trying his best to find her..” Brianna voiced.

“Now is a very crucial time, news has leaked to the public that Isabelle and Alessandro are missing, everyone is trying to find both her father and his rivals are trying to find her, I’m still trying to figure out why they were floating” He replied.

“The media are all telling different tales, I don’t know why the president is lying about keeping her somewhere safe” Brianna replied, glancing through her phone.

“I’ve noticed some suspicious movements between a few nurses and have ordered for 5 guards to seal off this room with one inside, that way they’ll be safe. We might leave this hospital”

“Hmm, I just hope they wake up, their faces are regaining color, why would anybody be trying to kill someone as nice and amazing as Isabelle, this world is filled with cruel people” Brianna confessed and Thomas wrapped her in a hug.

“That’s why you should never trust anybody, even the nicest of people can be deadly” He advised and she nodded, leaning on him.

They sat there, silently watching them and Isabelle’s index finger moved, Brianna stood up immediately, staring at the finger and waiting for it to move again.

“I saw her index finger move..” She muttered and Thomas rubbed her back, urging her to sit.

Isabelle’s finger moved again and this time they both saw it, she stood up immediately, holding the hand and smiling while Thomas went to get the doctor.

Alessandro opened his eyes slowly, the white lights making him close them back, he groaned, staring at the ceiling as he tried to figure out where he was.

He turned his neck and was surprised to see a blurry figure holding Isabelle’s hand, his vision cleared and the smell of antiseptic hit his nostrils.

He groaned and Thomas entered with the doctor.

Brianna gave way immediately and the doctor ran towards Isabelle who was breathing very hard.

He tried to sit up but noticed he was held down by some tubes that passed around his body.

The doctor calmed Isabelle and turned to face him, a look of surprise on his face.

The doctor hurried to his side, checking his temperature and every necessary data before detaching the tubes in his hand.

“Are you okay? Do you know where you are? Do you remember who you are?” The doctor demanded and he nodded, turning to look at Isabelle.

“Is she fine?” He muttered and the doctor nodded before leaving.

Alessandro glanced up and was surprised to see Brianna and Thomas staring at him, he groaned, turned to the other side and closed his eyes.

Isabelle jolted from sleep, panting heavily as she opened her eyes slowly, Brianna who had been holding her hand hugged her immediately before running off to call the doctor.

She was still panting, looking around and trying to join the little pieces of images that flashed in her head.

The doctor rushed inside, checking her heartbeat and staring at her data, he touched her forehead, asking her questions which she didn’t reply to.Content © NôvelDrama.Org.

Brianna was getting worried when Alessandro sat up, holding his stomach, he closed his eyes tiredly, glancing at Isabelle as he struggled to stay awake.

“Where am I at?” She demanded, staring at Brianna like a ghost.

“You’re at the hospital, Thomas and I found you guys drowning” Brianna explained and Isabelle nodded before closing her eyes.

Brianna stared at both of them with fear, she wondered what made Isabelle to sit-up suddenly, sighing tiredly, she put her head on her laps and fell asleep.

After 4 hours

“Brianna wake up, you’re such a deep sleeper” Isabelle muttered, patting her head slowly and she raised her head, yawning and looking around.

“You’re awake! I missed you a lot” She yelled, hugging Isabelle.

“I’ve missed you too kiddo” Isabelle replied, patting her head slowly.

“How long have we been here?” Alessandro demanded, a frown on his face as he stared at the drip.

“A week” Brianna replied and Isabelle gasped.

The doctor entered inside hurriedly, carefully removing the injections on their hands and legs and Brianna stared at him with confusion.

“Hurry up, we need to leave this place now!” Thomas ordered, taking the bag of drugs beside them.

Isabelle jumped down, pain shooting through her legs as she yelled and lost balance, the doctor rushed off while Alessandro limped towards the door, gritting his teeth as he felt pain all over his legs.

The doctor returned with a wheelchair and Isabelle sat, Brianna pushing it as she followed Thomas who was holding Alessandro.

“What’s wrong?” Isabelle demanded, hearing commotion from the reception side as they followed another exit.

“I’ll explain later, my limousine is outside, we need to get there fast” Thomas replied, opening the back door.

The last steps towards the limousine felt like hell for Alessandro who was trying not to break down, he slumped inside, panting and resting while Thomas put his leg inside and helped put Isabelle inside.

The driver raised the windows and sped out, taking the second exit that was less crowded and Thomas sighed with relief, putting his head on the window.

They reached the house and Brianna helped them inside while Thomas gave instructions to the guards.

“Why did we leave the hospital?” Isabelle demanded, immediately Thomas entered.

“I don’t know how but someone informed the bad guys about you guys, I don’t think they belong to the president since they were all on black and were trying to force their way inside the hospital” He replied.

“I don’t understand why you guys were drowning? What’s wrong? Are you in danger?” Brianna inquired.

“There’s a lot going on now, especially this election time. We were kidnapped by one of my father’s rivals and I think that person is trying to get us back by all means. Thank you so much guys” Alessandro replied.

“Thanks a lot but we’ll still need a lot of help from you guys, there’s still a journey ahead” Isabelle muttered and Brianna stared at her with confusion.

“What type of journey?”

“I need you to help me get in touch with a friend of mine, Darrell. I’ll give you directions to his house” Alessandro pleaded.

“Hold your horses, tell us what this journey is about and why there’s danger,” Thomas replied.

“This is top secret..” Isabelle trailed, explaining the full story to them.

“That’s messed up, how do you plan to do this?” Thomas demanded.

“Once we see Darrell, we’ll know the next steps but for now I need my phone. I think it’s best to let the public know that I’m safe,” Isabelle confessed.

“That’s going to be very risky, they will try to track you…” Brianna confessed.

“With Darrell around, he would be able to put jammers around the house. He would also give us information from the outside and figure out the next plan” Alessandro added.

“I’ll go get him now, can you tell me his address..”

“For you it’s risky, it’s best if you send a guard, tell Darrell it’s from Alessandro and he needs to come along, I’ll write the address on a piece of paper” Alessandro replied and Thomas brought a book and pen.

He went outside, called his most trusted guard and gave him instructions before returning inside.

“What plan do you have for now?” Thomas inquired, looking at Alessandro who was groaning slightly.

“I’ll try to dig out the secret between Mario, Ann and my father but from what Darrell told me, there’s something huge between Ann and Mario that has made them enemies, I think that’s why Ann is trying to kill Mario” Isabelle replied.

“I can’t believe this what has been going on in the administration and no one is aware, they’re started renovating the suburbs, the occupants were driven out and the president said he’s gonna be providing accommodation but only a few hundreds of the thousands families had been given accommodation” Brianna briefed and Isabelle gasped.

“This is all my fault, I shouldn’t have made that announcement, I’ll try to start up a fundraiser for them, what about your family?”

“Thomas has been very kind, he got a house for them” Brianna replied, staring at him with affection.

“These are your drugs, you need to use them, I’ll get the maid to cook up something. I’ll also get the doctor to come check on you occasionally, I’ll be traveling tomorrow..” Thomas trailed.

“You need to cancel the trip man, it’s very dangerous. My father’s rival is very ruthless, if they can kill my mother then they would be able to kill any other person” Isabelle warned and Thomas ran his hand through his hair, thinking about it.

“You should listen. Danger is lurking around” Brianna advised, holding his hand and he smiled at her.

Isabelle stared at Alessandro, wondering what she would say, she felt happy that they were both alive, she smiled at him, trying not to break down.

He smiled at her, moving close to her as she stretched her hand towards him.

“I’m glad that you’re in my life” She muttered, hugging him and Brianna smiled, clapping her hands.
