Isabelle woke up feeling very energetic and happy, she was happy that it was the award day but mostly happy because of Alessandro.

“Thanks a lot but I don’t need a date and if I need, I have lots of people already”

“What’s going on between you and Chris? Doesn’t he know you’re engaged?” Roberto fired and she smirked.

“Who cares if I’m engaged? Can’t I have fun whenever I want? You shouldn’t be bothered about any engagement plans, what you need to be concerned about now is the election. I hear that your rival has lots of supporters and it’ll take luck for you to win” She fired and walked out.

Alessandro opened the door with a curt bow, beaming at her with love.

“How was your night?” He demanded as they left the house.

“Was the best I’ve had in years, what about you?”

“Mine was lonely and long, my bed felt empty without you. Where are we heading to?” He replied and her face turned crimson.

“Let’s go shopping, the award is today and I’ve got to look my best”

“Whatever you wear would look best on you” He confessed as they entered the shopping mall.

After 3 hours of shopping, she slumped inside the car, tired. Alessandro put the bags in the trunk and sped off to the house.

Lilian stepped out of her blue Benz, bedecked in a purple long gown, heavily split from her toes to her thighs, exposing her full laps.

It was a low cut off the shoulder gown and her cleavage greeted the cameras, her body glittered with diamond jewelry and a small purse.

She smiled at the camera, flashing her jewelry and cleavages.

The commotion increased when Isabelle stepped out of a customized Benz, the latest model.

Everyone stared at her with desire and she smiled when the cameras began capturing her face.

Her hair was adorned with a tiara that had little diamonds on it, her earrings were made of Diamond and a long chain with a diamond pendant was on her neck.

Her gown was a short sleeved round neck that covered her breasts perfectly, a Diamond bangle dangled in her hands and she waved at the reporters who couldn’t get enough of her.

The glittering of her jewelry reflected in Lilian’s eye, she stood still, furious and seeking attention but was enraged when she didn’t get any.

The whole paparazzi died down and the ceremony began, Isabelle felt nervous and very tense.

She saw May walk out with anger while Lilian had a frightening look on her face.

She went to the red carpet and was stunned to see Chris, Thomas and Aurora.

They posed for pictures and Isabelle was crowded by reporters, Lilian fought her way through and stood beside Isabelle.

“Congratulations on your first award, I’m sure you worked very hard for it” Lilian grumbled with a forced smile, she waved at Chris and Thomas who only smiled before leaving their mist awkwardly.

“Would you like to go out and celebrate this? There’s a new bar that’s famous for their good wines..” Aurora suggested and Isabelle remembered that Alessandro had a surprise for her.

“I’ll pass for today, maybe some other time..”

“Isabelle, are you avoiding me because I kissed you? I’m sorry, forgive me” Chris apologized and she nodded, smiling as she left.

Alessandro who had been by her side was grinning and she could tell why.

“You’re happy today, is it because of my award? I won’t let you touch it” She teased and he burst into laughter.

“I’d rather touch your hand than a thousand awards” He replied and she saw a piece of paper on the floor.

“What’s this?…” She demanded, picking up the paper and he snatched it away from her immediately.

“Give it back! I wanna see that” She replied and he threw it in his mouth making her pout.

“Kiss me so I can get it out of your mouth!” She ranted, touching his lips and he bit her hand.

“Chill, I’m driving… you would get us killed!” He yelled and she frowned, folding her hands on her chest.

“Isabelle… prettiest damsel… world’s most amazing princess…” He called and she ignored him, feigning anger and he smirked.

“We are here” He announced, opening the door.

She was about to wear a mask but he snatched it away, giving her a reassuring smile.

They walked inside the dimly lit restaurant, the whole building was empty and a piano covered with a visible curtain stood at the far end.

She gasped and looked around the beautifully decorated restaurant, her heart swelling with joy.

She covered her mouth when she saw a table, two candles and a rose flower with red chairs.

She hugged him happily and he held her very tight, relishing in her scent.

“This is huge, I can’t get enough words to thank you” She stammered and he silenced her with a soft kiss.

“You deserve every good thing in this world and the world beyond” He replied, leading her to the table, he pulled out her chair and she sat with a smile.

The waiter brought a tray filled with cookies arranged in a love shape and her mouth opened.

“Open them one at a time and I’ll read it out for you..” He instructed and she began opening each cookie, arranging the little papers she saw.

“I think your existence is the best thing that has happened, your smile makes the universe brighter, My life was short of joy, happiness and love until I met you. I’d die a thousand times just to see you smile then see you cry even for once…. This is stupid, you find my words childish right?” He asked when he noticed her frozen stare and she held his hands.

“I think your words are great, I’ll really love to hear everything. Please continue” She replied and his nervousness decreased.

“The last letter… it’s a little question, I don’t think it’s time I ask you that, I’m being too forward, we should place our orders and have dinner first..” He blabbered nervously and she smiled.
