Reborn Before The Divorce

Chapter 320 Tavish Wants to Earn Money to Support His Mommy

Jesse’s bedroom was suddenly illuminated, so bright that it was impossible to hide in the shadows.

Nydia was hiding under the bed, listening to the sound of the wheelchair getting closer and closer.

Glancing towards the bed, she was surprised to see something dropped on the bed!

“Don’t come any closer!” she thought to herself, slowly moving towards the edge of the bed, reaching out to grab the object.

If Jesse saw it, he would definitely figure it out with his sharp mind.

Holding her breath, she stretched out her hand and grabbed the object just as the sound of the wheelchair disappeared and was replaced by footsteps.

As the footsteps approached, Nydia finally managed to grab the object and quickly retreated back under the bed, her body covered in sweat.

With a sigh of relief, she thought to herself, “That was close!”

Nydia, hiding under the bed, had no idea what Jesse was doing, only hearing his footsteps.

When Jesse went to take a shower, she finally breathed a sigh of relief.

But now she was in a dilemma. Should she leave or continue hiding?

As she pondered, Jesse had finished his shower and appeared beside the bed, his thin and lean legs stepping on the carpet. The bed sank slightly as he lay down.

Nydia remained tense under the bed, waiting for Jesse’s breathing to become long and steady.

She didn’t know how much time had passed, but she finally felt Jesse fall asleep.

Climbing out of the bed, she immediately plugged a needle into his head to block his senses.

The rest was the same as usual.

But after this experience, Nydia couldn’t help but worry. She was afraid that Jesse would discover her next time. Based on her understanding of Jesse, once he discovered her, it would not be so easy to treat him again.

After finishing everything, she was sweating profusely and quickly went back to her own room to take a shower and go to bed.

The next morning, she went to the restaurant early.

When Jesse woke up, he felt as if his legs were warm. He usually didn’t pay attention to his legs, but today he pulled up his pants and took a look. Frowning, he felt that something was different, but he couldn’t pinpoint what it was.

After getting out of bed and heading to the wheelchair, his expression suddenly changed. It wasn’t just his imagination – he felt that his legs were a bit stronger than before.

What was going on?

After washing up, he went to the dinning room and saw the two kids having breakfast.

“Where’s your Mommy?” he asked.

“She went to the restaurant. Good morning, Daddy,” Molly replied, still a bit nervous around Jesse, afraid that she might say something wrong and upset him.

Jesse nodded, feeling better after sensing that his legs were stronger than before.Text © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.

Tavish noticed this and bravely spoke up.

“Daddy, can you have another wedding with Mommy?”

Upon hearing these words, Jesse’s face changed, and he immediately remembered the divorce agreement and Nydia’s mention of the three-month deadline. But instead of getting angry, he asked, “Why are you suddenly bringing this up?”

“Because Molly and I weren’t able to participate in Daddy and Mommy’s wedding, and as members of the family, we should witness your wedding,” Tavish explained.

Jesse remained silent for a moment.

Tavish continued, “I asked Mommy about it, and she said it depends on your decision.”

Jesse’s expression froze, “What did you say?”

“I told Mommy about this last night, and she said it depends on your decision.”

Jesse frowned, wondering what Nydia meant by that.

After breakfast, he asked the two children to stay home and went to the office. There were many things to handle at work lately, and he was worried that his illness would affect the company’s operations. He needed to make sure everything was arranged properly.

However, Tavish’s words kept echoing in his mind throughout the day.

“Where are you going, Brother?” Molly noticed Tavish carrying a backpack, as if he was about to leave.

“I’m going to participate in a challenge show for smart kids.”

“Is it fun? I want to go too,” Molly said.

Tavish had originally planned to go alone, but leaving Molly at home alone wasn’t appropriate. “You didn’t register, so you can’t participate in the show, but you can come with me and watch backstage.”

“Okay, I promise to be good.”

It wasn’t long before Vincent came to pick up Tavish.

Tavish didn’t tell his family about participating in the show, only that he was going out to play. With Vincent taking care of them, the Pascall family didn’t think too much about it. After all, both children were capable of taking care of themselves.

“Tavish, are you ready? There will be many talented kids in this show,” Vincent said. He knew Tavish was very smart, but there’s always someone better, and he worried that Tavish would be devastated if he didn’t win.

In reality, it was normal for a child under five to lose.

“I’m well prepared,” Tavish replied.

“Why do you want to participate in this challenge show, Brother?” Molly asked curiously.

“There’s a prize of five million dollars,” Tavish explained.

Molly’s eyes widened in shock, “Five million? That’s a lot! But Brother, if you need money, you can just ask Dad.”

“Dad’s money is Dad’s money. When we earn our own money, it becomes our own, and that’s different. Besides, isn’t it impressive that we can earn money ourselves?”

Molly tilted her head and thought for a moment. “Molly wants to earn money too,” she said.

After considering it for a moment, Vincent suggested, “Why doesn’t Molly participate? If she enters the top fifty, she can earn twenty thousand.”

Molly and Tavish had already grasped the concept of money and thought that twenty thousand was not bad, so Molly agreed, mainly because she wanted to play with her brother.

They arrived at the location arranged by the program group. There were a lot of people there, and it felt like there were several thousand.

The final number of participants turned out to be over twenty-three thousand, which was quite shocking.

When the program group saw Vincent, they asked, “Hello, do you have anyone to take care of your child? The exam time is not short, so you’d better arrange for your child first, or else…”

“It’s not me taking the exam.”

“Oh, is it your spouse? What about your spouse? I need to give out the test center numbers.”

“It’s these two children taking the exam.” Vincent called Molly and Tavish over.

“What?” The staff was very surprised and thought he was joking. “I’m very busy right now and don’t have time to deal with you…”

“Sir, my sister and I are taking the exam. I remember the rules say that there’s no age limit, right?” Tavish looked at the staff and smiled, with clear speech and fluent expression.

The staff looked at the child who looked about five years old and was somewhat surprised.

“It’s true that there’s no age limit, but…”

“Then please give us our test center numbers. We need to prepare. If we win, we’ll treat you to candy, Sir.”

Looking at these two adorable children, even if he felt the child was joking, he couldn’t get angry. After all, the organizer did not limit age, and the first round was open to anyone who signed up.

“Good luck to you!” He handed the test center numbers to Molly and Tavish.

They entered the exam room, where there were already many people. Each person had a table, and each table had a tablet computer on it.

“Whose child is this? Take them away, the exam is about to start.”

“Kid, go find your parents.”

“We’re here to take the exam.” Molly took out her test center number.

A man who was quite old immediately scolded, “Nonsense!”
