Chapter 47
Chapter 47
Her heart was still pounding as if it was out of control.
She got out of bed, closed and locked the door. She didn't want to be bullied by that man in the middle of the night again.
Augustine did not come back that night. He went into another room. In order to be able to sleep that night, he had to put out the excitement pumping in his body.
Early in the morning.
Vivianna was in a daze when she saw a pair of beautiful big eyes. It turned out that Zeph had woken up. He was smiling at her with his chin propped up.
"Zeph, you're up." Vivianna sat up and rubbed his little head.
"Mommy, where is daddy? Where has daddy been?" Zeph asked curiously.
Vivianna blushed as she thought of what happened on the previous night but she answered her son calmly, "I don't know."
"Why didn't you sleep on the bed last night and why didn't daddy sleep on the bed today? Did you
quarrel?" Zeph questioned sensitively.
"No!" Vivianna laughed. It was really hard for her to smile.
"Oh! Mommy, get up. Let's have breakfast. Dad said he would take me to his company today!"
"What are you going to do in his company?" She was confused.
"Daddy's company is gigantic and domineering. I want to play there." Zeph fancied all powerful things, which meant that he had Augustine's gallantry.
Vivianna was a little speechless so she touched his head and spoke, "Okay! You go ahead! Mommy has some work to do."
"Mommy, don't worry. I'll listen to daddy."
Vivianna and Zeph brushed their teeth, washed their faces and then went downstairs. Vivianna picked a printed shirt and a high-waist skirt from the closet in the guest room. Her figure was pin- point perfect, everything would look good on her.
When they went downstairs, Augustine was reading newspaper on the sofa. Vivianna was holding her son's hand and glaring at the man with fiery anger in her eyes.
She hadn't settled the matter with him on the previous night!
When the man noticed her anger, he raised his eyebrows and smiled devilishly.
"Daddy, where did you go last night?"
"Daddy suddenly realized that there was some work needed to be done, so I went to work." Augustine chuckled.
"Oh! Daddy, let's have breakfast! After we have finished eating, let's go out together. You can take mommy to work."
"I... I don't need to be sent off." Vivianna didn't want to stay with him. He had already given her trauma on the previous night.
"Are you sure? I'm not going to borrow you any car today."
"I will call the taxi!" Vivianna didn't want to be threatened by him.
"There are security guards at the entrance, you won't be able to get any taxi here without my permission."
She stared at him and was instantly speechless. It would be exhausting if she walked as she would need to walk for half an hour in high heels.
"Mommy, take daddy's car!" Even Zeph looked worried.
"Zeph, can you eat your breakfast first? I have something to talk to your father." Vivianna bent down and said to Zeph.
Zeph frowned and pouted reluctantly, "Daddy, mommy, why do you whisper so much every day? Can't you say it in front of me?"
"Whispered?" Vivianna's face was stunned slightly.
"I'm having a romantic talk with your mommy. You don't understand." Augustine raised his eyebrows and chuckled.
"Romantic talk?" Vivianna sneered. "It's more like threatening me."
"Really? When are daddy and mommy going to give me a baby sister?" Zeph questioned excitedly. He wanted a sister so badly.
A faint red flushed colored Vivianna's cheeks. She replied, "It isn't going to happen, I am not going to." "Son, have your breakfast. I'll talk to your mommy about having a younger sister." Augustine sent Zeph away. If he went on like that, Zeph would be crazy!
"Okay! Don't forget!" After saying that, Zeph ran towards the dining area.
Vivianna took a deep breath and gestured at the dignified man, "Come with me to the garden. I need to talk to you."
Augustine was curious about what she wanted to say. He stood up and followed her to the garden.
To ensure his son wouldn't overhear, Vivianna deliberately walked further away. When she turned around, she did not know that the man was so close to her that she almost fell into his arms. She hastily took three steps back for safety measures.
"Augustine, if you want us to live here, three rules." Vivianna raised her head and straightened her neck.
Augustine raised his sharp eyebrows and replied in a low and sexy voice, "What are the three rules?"
She gnashed her teeth and announced, "First of all, things like last night can't happen again. From now on, you are not allowed to have physical contact with me. Secondly, I will persuade my son to sleep in a separate room. He will decide whether to sleep with you or me. I won't interfere. Thirdly, I don't want to have any relationship with you."
"Any relationship? Having a son doesn't mean anything?" Augustine pretended to be puzzled and asked with a gentle smile.
Seeing that he wasn't listening carefully at all, Vivianna flushed red with anger. "Okay, I'll take my son back to my house today. Don't ever think of seeing him again."
"We can only meet in court then." Augustine murmured in a deep voice with a hint of defiance.
"Up to you. Even if you forcefully take my son away, without me, my son will not want to live with you." Vivianna was very confident.
Augustine's eyebrows tightened, "You mean that you're taking your son home to sleep tonight?"
"Yes!" Vivianna said firmly.
"Well! Come and pick him up after work!" Augustine stated with a clear voice, "I'm hungry. I'm going to have breakfast."
Vivianna looked at his charming figure under the sun in utter shock.
Wasn't that man very concerned about his son? Why was he willing to let her take him away all of a sudden? Vivianna couldn't figure it out. In other words, her three rules weren't useful at all.
Deal! She would take her son home so she wouldn't have to deal with his attitude and he wouldn't be able to take advantage of her.
Thinking of that, Vivianna returned to the dining area to have breakfast. Even the food tasted more delicious. She glanced at the man in front of her secretly. However, he was also looking at her while chewing his food gracefully. Two pairs of eyes collided in the air. Nevertheless, it was Vivianna who lost her guts and lowered her head first.
Why? Even Augustine's eyes were bigger, Vivianna didn't think her eyes were small either! Why did she give in first? Têxt © NôvelDrama.Org.
After breakfast, Augustine drove a low-key black sports car, which was obviously still very pricy. The engine sounded like a roaring beast, wild and dominating, just like the owner.
