“Hello” Clarissa walked up to Damien who still had a very concerned look on his face.

“Hey” He managed to give a response to her.

“I… I am going to see Hazel, do you want to go with me?” Clarissa asked.

“She is busy right now. You cannot go to see her” Damien replied and Clarissa nodded her head but did not walk away.

Damien stopped pacing around and his eyes scanned her from her head to her toe.

“You know you should he walking away, right now?” He questioned.

“Am… am I the only who knows that we are…..”

“Whatever we are….” He cut her off harshly.

“Whatever we are, I do not care about it. So do not care much about it took” Damien replied.

“But… But we are not just anything, we are mates” She replied and Damien threw his head backwards, revealing his Adam’s apple.

“I think I have made myself clear enough. I. Am. Not. Willing. To. Be. Your. Mate. ” He spelt out his words.

Not when Axel was dead and he was the only guy left in the life of Hazel. Hazel was the one he loved and not his newly found mate.

“You should go out there and find someone without a mate to get together with. Find one and live your happy life but with me…. You have no chance” His voice was rash towards her.

Clarissa could feel her heart hurting as he said those words to her without caring a little bit about her feelings.

“No more buts.” Damien shut her up and walked a few steps away from her.

“Is this because of Hazel? Do you love her too? You also love her?” Clarissa asked and Damien halted in his steps.

He slowly turned towards Clarissa.

“Yes, I do. I love her” he replied.

“Isn’t it clear to even you that Hazel Simons would only love one person in this lifetime?! She only loves Axel. You can see how she cried”

“Crying when a loved one dies is normal and she will get over it soon and when and does get over it, I would be by her side….” He ran his hands through his hair.

“Why am I telling you this anyways?” He muttered.

“You want to listen to me saying the words of rejection? I was going to be kind enough not to say it but it seems like you want to hear it so bad so here you go.”

“I, Alpha Damien of the Green Moon Pack reject you as my mate and cut off all and everything bonding us together” his eyes were cold and without emotions as he spoke those words to Clarissa.

“I would never believe you all! No…. No one wants me! No one ever wants me!” She cried out her pains.

“Perhaps if you were not waiting for your mate, you would have found someone just like I didn’t wait and found someone”

Clarissa could not take it anymore. His words stung her heart way too bad.

She did not even know how she was supposed to handle the situation. She turned away and ran off as fast as her legs could carry her.

She had thought that her single life had come to an end when she found her mate but it turned out that even her mate liked Hazel and she was probably going to remain single for all of her life.

“Tell me, Hazel Simons, can you do it?” The wolf doctor asked again when Hazel did not give any response for long seconds.

“I would not advise you to do it anyways. You are pregnant for him, right? You are not just on your own anymore, you have a pup inside of you and you will be losing the life of the pup too just to bring Axel back to life”

“It…. It is indeed not worth it” the wolf doctor shook his head and walked a few steps away.

“Stop!” Hazel stopped him and sniffed back the fresh tears that were threatening to roll down her cheeks.

“I…” She stopped talking, trying harder to prevent the cry in her throat from breaking out.

She closed her eyes and raised her head up towards the ceiling, letting a few tears roll down side ways.

She looked back at the wolf doctor and her crying face forced out a smile.

She looked at Axel and touched his hands.

“I will do it!” Her voice cracked.

The wolf doctor froze for some seconds.

“You will die with your pup for him to come back to life?” He asked and by this time Hazel’s tears could no longer let her speak, she could only nod in response.

“Yes… I will die with my pup for Axel to come back to life.” She finally said her words after a while.

“It’s useless for me to stay alive if he is gone. Not after how much he loved me. I won’t be able to stay alive in fact. I’ll die after a few weeks if Axel does not come back. So instead… Instead of wasting my life like you said… Let’s make it benefitting”Please check at N/ôvel(D)rama.Org.

The wolf doctor was clearly, genuinely touched by their love for each other.

“I am sure that Axel would have made the same decision if he was the one alive.” She raised the black top she was wearing up and wiped her face with it after which she forced another smile.

“Are you really sure about it?” The wind doctor asked again.

“I am absolutely sure about what I want to do. I would do anything to give Axel another chance to spend life. He… He has been training all of his life to become the Alpha and eventually? He spent only a few weeks as the Alpha. I want him back, at any cost” her cracked and croaking voice held the biggest determination ever.

“The both of you should have never suffered this fate” the wolf doctor shook his head.

“Will there be anything else needed?” Hazel asked.

“Nothing else. I’d advise you to spend the week happily with Sana as you would be dying the next week”

“I know” she nodded her head sadly and watched the wolf doctor walk out before she broke into another round of tears.

“Axel, there’s a solution now… You will be coming back to life soon but this time… There would be no pretty head in your life.”
