Fear spread through my body, and a large hand reaching from behind pushed me into the bathtub.
I didn't realize when the tub had been filled with water, but it was drowning me. In my panic, I flailed my arms and legs, clutching desperately at Antonio's arms like they were a lifeline.
Gasping, I blurted out a plea, "I was wrong, Antonio, I really was. I didn't know you weren't a hooker... no, no, I mean I shouldn't have looked for one in the bar, please let me go, I-"
Antonio, that devil! He paid no heed to my pleas, scrubbing me from head to toe underwater, washing away the stench of blood and the sickening scent of perfume. He treated me as if I were a cat he owned, completely disregarding my protests, and washed me thoroughly with ease. Only when my breathing became ragged and my skin turned red did he finally lift me out, wrapping me in a large robe and carrying me over his shoulder to the bed.
I had no strength left to resist Antonio, my limbs weak as I lay across his thighs while he dried my hair. The loud noise of the hairdryer echoed in my ears, and the warm air relaxed my nerves. Antonio's body still bore a faint woody fragrance. I slowly closed my eyes, my breathing evening out against the warmth of his thigh.
At first, I didn't notice anything wrong with the position until Antonio pressed me down into the soft, comfortable bedding. "No, Antonio," I protested, blocking his hands as he tried to untie my robe, refusing his advances, "I'm not that kind of woman, I really am not..." I bit my lip, struggling to say the word, "prostitute."
"When you mistook me for a hooker, I never thought of you as a prostitute," Antonio said gently, caressing my cheek, his body temperature making my face flush.
He knew! I hated myself for being so foolish to think he was just a regular hooker. Despite my resistance, I had to admit, Antonio would be an exceptional lover. He was perfect when tender yet rugged and wild.
"I apologize, Antonio," I said, shaking my head, trying to escape from beneath him. "Are you rejecting me, Sienna?" Antonio's eyes narrowed dangerously.
I gritted my teeth and nodded, "Yes, I admit it."
Antonio punched the pillow beside my head, startling me as I looked into his dark, turbulent eyes. "Do you know who you're refusing, Sienna!" He got out of bed, his sudden rage frightening me, tears appearing in my eyes, "I..."
"You can't refuse me, Sienna!" Antonio approached, towering over me. "Your father owes me 80 million dollars, and with your financial capabilities, you sure can't repay this debt anytime soon. No worries, just be my mistress, and you won't have to pay it back!"
Mistress? My eyes widened with humiliation and resistance. "No!" I said sternly, "I refuse."
Antonio grabbed my chin, his anger real this time, his grip leaving marks on my cheeks. "Refuse me, and how will you repay my 80 million dollars? Will you follow the casino's deal with your father and sell yourself on Pink Island as a prostitute?"
"Being your mistress, how is that different from being a prostitute?" I yelled back in humiliation.
"There is a difference! Being a mistress to me alone, and being a prostitute for all the patrons of my club." Antonio threatened, "It's up to you, Sienna. You will make the right choice, won't you?"
Anger shook my body, and I pounded my fists against his chest, "You bastard!"
"I will show you how merciful my
offer is," Antonio hissed into my ear. He liked the feeling of carrying me over his shoulder, a fact that shamed me-I felt like a sex dol

Antonio caressed my waist, his breath on my neck sending shivers down my spine, "You can refuse. But your damn father's hands, his feet, even his life..."
"Damn it!" I cursed bitterly.
My father, well aware of the casino and Antonio's cruelty, turned pale, scrambling over to grab my robe, "Sienna, save me, save your dad..."
My robe tore slightly, exposing my long, fair legs to all eyes, and Antonio's face darkened, "Chop off his hands!"
"No! No! I'll pay, I'll pay... I really don't have the money... Sienna! Sienna..."
As Antonio's bodyguards dragged
my father out of my sight, I watched the long streaks of blood on the floor, deeply aware of the fate he might face. My father was a greedy gambler who had destroyed our home and my life, and he didn't deserve my sympathy. But Valentina...
She and I would lose our father. My hatred for his irresponsibility didn't mean I wanted him dead. I tried to recall any signs of his past love for Valentina, for me, and for my mother.
"I..." I began, the taste of bitterness spreading in my mouth, "I agree..."
"What did you say? I didn't hear you," Antonio leaned in close, his amber eyes filled with mocking certainty, a slap of assurance across my face.
My cheeks burned, and I dared not meet Antonio's eyes again, afraid that the venom and hatred in them would provoke him to greater madness-this would serve me no good.
"I agree to be your mistress," I said, closing my eyes, my words deliberate and clear, biting each syllable, "as long as you spare my father." Antonio laughed, his mood brightening instantly with my agreement, "I'm glad you've made the right choice. You're not beyond hope, Sienna."
He signaled to his bodyguard, then scooped me up in his arms amid my cries of alarm, "I need to inspect my property, please me, Sienna, let me see that my 80 million dollars are well spent."
His words were degrading, and I longed to throw a cup of iced coffee in his face, to curse him as a despicable wretch, but I couldn't.
I pushed against his chest, my expression cold, "I need to ensure my father's safety. And 80 million dollars can't buy my entire life. I need to sign a contract with you, setting a time limit."
