I Paid A Mafia Boss For Our Night

Chapter 10 Deadly Contract

Chapter 10 Deadly Contract

"You're setting a time limit for me?" Antonio raised his eyebrows, a curious expression on his face as he looked down at me.

His gaze made me uncomfortable, as if he was looking at an ant trying to shake an elephant. I clenched my teeth and nodded, "Yes."

Antonio pulled me into the elevator, his bodyguard following and pressing the button for the top floor.

"Fine." The elevator doors slowly closed, and Antonio's handsome face remained expressionless, his demeanor serious, "But I only accept negotiations within a reasonable range, Sienna, and this is a privilege I'm granting you."

His high-handed charity made me feel humiliated. My soul screamed hysterically to fight Antonio to the death, but in reality, I could only cling to the last shred of sanity, squeezing out my compromise through clenched teeth, "Six months."

"Six months?" Antonio chuckled lightly, his laughter casual and effortless, but I detected a hint of mockery, even his bodyguard stealthily shot me a mocking glance.

I felt embarrassed, my face burning hot, and even breathing felt difficult. Why must I endure such humiliation?

"Six months, or just kill me and my father!" I glared back at him.

Antonio stared intently at me. I was nervous inside, but unwilling to show weakness, I stared back with wide eyes as if the first to break this tension would lose.

But I had no confidence at all. Antonio was a mafia boss; he could simply snap his fingers, and my father and I could be killed tonight at the club, no need for a burial.

As Antonio's silence grew longer, the fear of the dark world and unease retook my heart, and I regretted setting such a firm condition.

The elevator descended to the underground parking lot, where Antonio's driver brought the car around. The car door opened, and Antonio placed me in the back seat.

He propped himself against the car roof and unbuttoned the top two buttons of his shirt, revealing a honey-toned chest, the previously abstinent elite man now seeming more like a playboy delighting in teasing women, "One year."

One year was too long. I wanted to say "no," but reason stopped me in time. Just to be Antonio's mistress for one year, and $80 million in debt would be erased. But... the thought of becoming his toy, his outlet for lust, made even a single day unbearable.

I cautiously glanced at Antonio's expression, my stomach filled with butterflies.

No! I will find a way to pay off the debt and leave early.

"Fine. But I have one more condition."

Antonio laughed in exasperation, grabbing my shoulder, "Don't push your luck."

I sweated from the pain, "This is the last one."

Antonio looked deeply at me, finally releasing my shoulder, "Speak."

My shoulder felt numb, taking a while to recover, "From today, do not allow my father to enter any of the casinos or clubs under your name. If he does, kick him out."

"You're not afraid I'll beat him to death?"

I pressed my lips together, heart hardened, "If $80 million can't make him quit gambling, then you might as well kill him."

...

I sat in the spacious back seat of the Bentley, spreading my hands for the club's doctor to apply medicine.

"Keep it dry, avoid heavy lifting, and change the dressing regularly..."

As I nodded, I couldn't help but glance outside the car, where Antonio flipped through something on his bodyguard's phone, one hand holding a cigar.

I admitted Antonio was an exquisitely handsome man, likely a regular at the gym given his perfect body proportions, broad shoulders and narrow waist... even those fashion models in Milan would pale in comparison.

Too bad he was a mafia, inherently tangled with danger, terrorism, and crime. No matter how perfect his build, he wasn't a good choice for a husband.

The doctor wrapped my hands in thick white bandages, turning them into cumbersome paws. I tried to bend my fingers, but they were stiff and unmovable.

"It doesn't seem that severe," I complained to the doctor, asking if he could wrap the bandages thinner to make movement easier.

The doctor denied my request, "Take precautions in daily life, avoid crowded places, be mindful not to bump into anything."

I poked my head out of the car, struggling a bit, "But..."

Antonio pushed me back, firmly stating, "Just do as the doctor said."

I rolled my eyes and shifted to the other side of the car as Antonio closed the door and told the driver an address.

It was a high-end residential area in the city center, far from my family's small villa. I immediately realized it was Antonio's apartment.

I had already agreed to become Antonio's mistress, and now he was taking me to his apartment-I knew what would happen next.

I was a bit scared and nervous.

Images from last night's madness

flashed through my mind: Antonio's firm waistline, the hot sweat, our intertwined breaths, and the constant soft squelching sounds from my lower half...

Heat surged from deep within my body like a spring, coursing through my veins, making my face feel hot and my limbs go weak.

I admit, my body was very satisfied with his services that night, but now the situation was different, and I was filled with fear for the future.

Was it too late to escape now?

As the Bentley drove into the garage, I swallowed hard, and by the time I gathered my thoughts, Antonio had already gotten out of the car and came around to open my door.

My heart jerked, and I stared blankly at the suddenly gentlemanly Antonio, then the next second-

"Get out." Antonio urged me.

Good, my heartbeat returned to normal in a second.

With my hands unable to exert strength, I had to scoot towards the car door and jump down.

I followed Antonio to the top floor of the apartment.

The moment the door opened, I thought Khad entered another hotel with its high-end, black-and-white decor, but it couldn't hide the cold, lifeless feel, not resembling @lived-in place at all.

But the ashtray on the living room coffee table, magazines tossed in the corner of the sofa, and coffee stains on the gray carpet indicated signs of someone living here.

Antonio bypassed the living room and entered the kitchen to peek inside the fridge, "Want something to drink?"

"Ah, for me?" I fiddled with the tie of my robe, standing awkwardly in the living room. I wanted to decline, but changed my mind at the last moment, "Please, a whiskey."

Antonio was surprised at my request for whiskey. "I thought you might want something else." He showed me his fridge, "Maybe you'd prefer a low- alcohol apple cider?"

I felt belittled. Am I really that bad at drinking? No, I had once outdrunk three male colleagues at a gathering!

"No, I want whiskey!" I needed the

strong alcohol to fuel my courage. Tonight was my first night as Antonio'&mistress, and I didn't want to appear too timid in his bed. believed my timidity would someday become a weapon for him to use against me, and I couldn't allow that. Published by Nôv'elD/rama.Org.

"Alright, I respect a lady's decision." Antonio shrugged, took out the whiskey and an ice bucket, and reached into a cab for a glass.

He dropped ice cubes into the glass, the amber liquid of the whiskey flowing over them, much like the glint in his eyes. Antonio pushed the glass towards me across the bar.

I approached the bar, reached for the glass under his guidance.

I tried to be graceful, but the bandages restricted my movement, and I had to use both hands to hold the glass.

Maybe my posture was too comical, as Antonio couldn't help but burst out laughing. I glared at him fiercely, and his expression flitted before he awkwardly stopped laughing.

"I'm going to take a shower."
