I Once Married You (Harper and Benjamin)

Chapter 245

Chapter 245 She Is Pregnant

Benjamin stood beside the bed, and his deep gaze fixed on the woman lying there. He asked in a low voice, "Is it just an exhaustion-induced coma?"

"Yes, but because your wife is pregnant, she needs to be more careful than usual. Mr. Martin, you should advise her not to overwork herself. It's not good for her and the baby. Even though the first trimester has passed, she still needs to be cautious." The doctor's words left Benjamin stunned.

He stared at the doctor, his face stiff, and asked with a hoarse voice, "You... said, she...She's pregnant?"

"Yes, Mr. Martin. Didn't you know? Your wife is nearly four months pregnant, but doesn't look pregnant. It sometimes happens."

The doctor was surprised as well. How come the wife was pregnant and the husband had no idea of it at all?

Curtis remained silent while looking at Benjamin. Benjamin didn't say anything else but thank you to the doctor before he left.

Benjamin remained rooted to the spot, his eyes fixed on Harper in disbelief.

She's nearly four months pregnant?

The news felt unreal, and he couldn't comprehend how he hadn't known.

His thoughts raced, questioning Harper's intentions and why she hadn't mentioned it.

"It has been nearly four months, does she know?

How could she not know?"

Benjamin couldn't help but sneer at himself inwardly.

"If she knew, why didn't she ever mention it?

What is she planning?"This is the property of Nô-velDrama.Org.

Benjamin thought of her attitude of insisting on getting a divorce, so even though she knew she had a child, she still insisted on getting a divorce. Benjamin's face darkened and no one knew what he was thinking.

Curtis broke the silence gently, "Mr. Martin, shall I fetch something to eat before your wife wakes up?"

"Sure," Benjamin replied curtly, his mind still reeling.

Curtis left.

The room went solemn even more.t He glanced out the window, his phone interrupting his thoughts He picked up the phone and said

"What's wrong?"

He heard Larry's concerned voice after answering it. "I heard Harper fainted. Is she alright?"

"She's fine," Benjamin responded tersely, his expression grim. "Is Annie with you? I need to talk to her."

Larry was confused but still handed over the phone to Annie.

Annie's worried voice came through, "How's Harper? Are you with her at the hospital?"

She was aware of Harper's

pregnancy and the fact that Harper wanted to keep it a secret. In this situation, she worried that her

question may cause trouble.

Benjamin sensed the concern in Annie's tone, and his voice softened. "She's pregnant, nearly four months along. You knew, didn't you?"

Annie fell silent when she realized Benjamin's awareness.

After a pause, she urged, "You should consider how to handle Harper and your child. If you still intend to be with Lauren, just pretend you don't know it and let Harper go."

"Is that what Harper wants? To hide our child from me?"

"I'm not here to argue with you, Mr. Martin. Just consider your options carefully. Harper doesn't want her child in a broken family."

Benjamin was stunned into silence, contemplating Annie's words.

As he did, Harper stirred on the bed and opened her eyes.

Benjamin heard that and then told Annie about Harper's recovery.

Then, he hung up the call.

Turning towards Harper, Benjamin approached quietly. "How are you feeling? Any discomfort?"
