Emerson keeps pacing to and fro the meeting room. He checked the time for the nth time but no one was coming in.

Twenty minutes later. The room was filled up. Mrs Ellison, Laura, Lucas, Olivia, Serenity, Trinity, Hudson, Clarissa, Molina, Valerie, Kay, Ivey and all other Head and subordinates of some departmental duties in the clan. Allison was asleep due to her current condition.

Emerson came out and apologized to them. He apologized countless times which left the rest of them amazed by his sudden change of attitude. He went straight to point and explained to his fellow crew members the reason why they are having a sudden emergency at such an hour of the night.

He called Cara on the phone for them to hear for themselves. While still on their feet, some gave ideas on how to go with the problem on ground. Valerie, the second best female fighter and mathematician in the clan, decided to drop a suggestion.

“You can speak to Valerie. ” He ordered when he saw her hand up in the air.

“I think we should track her down. I just need to know when she got out of the compound and thankfully, the CCTV will give us the time she left the clan by checking the footage. And also, the CCTV cameras that are in the street will help us know the direction she took. Kay will track her down since he’s head of technology department. That’s my suggestion, boss. ” She took steps backwards.

“That was awesome. Anybody is against the idea. ” He asked, observing their reaction and expression to her idea.

“Nobody, suggestion accepted! ” They chorused at once.

“Yes boss! ” He returned and headed out of the room.

“The rest should get the torture room prepare and our weapons. We aren’t going to relent. ” Emerson yelled with a cold voice.

“Olivia and Serenity should go to the emergency room and announce to the rest of the members publicly. They should get ready. ” He dropped his final order and walked out.

“Why will Jocelyn do this? Is she that dumb. ” Serenity groaned, feeling annoyed.

“I’m just hoping Kay will track her soon, then we won’t be able to shoot guns at humans tomorrow. ” Olivia mumbled as they walked hand in hand out of the room. Everyone departed, heading to their various duties. Heaven knows there is no peaceful sleep for them.

Mrs Laura called her men from her side to leave but few of them remain to guide her multi- billionaire house. She followed Emerson, Hudson and Lucas to the technology room.

“Fifty of my men will be here tomorrow to take the children to my secret underground building. ” She whispered.

“Hope it’s not just a small room, I don’t want them suffocating in such a situation. Emerson raised a concerned expression on his face as they walked inside the technology department.

“It’s a two bedroom with a kitchen and a toilet. Allison, Daphne, Amy, Anaya, Ariel and Madison will stay there with Laura along with the fifty men. It’s safe, no one knows about it. ”

“I’m fine with it but I don’t think Daphne will want to go. Anyway, that’s safe. Kay, any lead. ” He asked immediately when he got in.

“I’m still waiting for Valerie. ” He responded.

“Oh! The footage. ” He uttered and Kay nodded.

“Excuse me. ” Emerson mumbled and went out of the room. He went to the back of the departmental building and took the shortcut ( A path between two points that is faster than the commonly used paths) . He opened the door to his apartment and shut it gently.

“Daphne. ” He called.

*Is she asleep* the thought and opened the door to his room only to find a letter on his bed.

Meanwhile, Lucas heads to his apartment after thinking Allison would have finished her cereal. Having a pregnant girlfriend was the least out of his desire. Allison WANTS and THAT was getting too much. He wished he could just shift the responsibility onto someone else, But hell! He gotta act like a man.

He heard a heavy thud, it was if something heavy dropped to the ground. “Allison. ” he called and he rushed in.

“Bad mood. ” Allison screamed from the stairs. Lucas looked up and back to the floor, a slight gasp escaped his lips when he saw Skylar on the ground with her hand behind her back and her legs tied together. Blood was spilled on the floor or should I say splash on the wall.

“What the hell are you doing here you rotten goat–

“Goats. ” Allison added as she dragged someone down the stairs. Not even minding if the person got brain damage.

(Stuttering) “Hazel. ” Lucas called looking confused.

“What are you doing here? Weren’t you two banished? ” He bummed them with questions.

“You can’t banish a goat without seeing them coming back. Anyway, they came with guns and a knife shooter. ” Allison grinned and dropped their weapons on the dining table.

“Don’t tell me it’s what I’m thinking? ” Lucas gasped and fist his hand tightly.

“Calm down baby. You just call some men to take them away. Allison talked looking stressed. Lucas did just the way she wanted.

“Why did you have to date and fall in love with this bitch. ” Hazel spat angrily.

“Because– she interrupted him with a growl.

“It’s pointless responding to her. Let me reply. ” Allison stood up and walked to a shelf on the wall. She took out a tape and turned to face Hazel.

“Because he saw an attraction. A blinking light you would have probably lost. ” She uttered angrily and taped her mouth harshly.

Just when Lucas was about to walk to his mini fridge, the clan emergency speaker came to air.

(*Daphne is missing* *it was a trap by Jocelyn* *She left a short note* *Stay together and stay safe*) he passed on the message and off the speaker.
