Mrs Ellison looked calmed after listening to the sound record Clarissa did. She actually looked disappointed at her daughter’s actions. Everyone patiently waited for her to open her eyes and give her a tight correction.

“Wow. ” Daphne gasped and he smiled at how shocked she was. The room had her pictures, most of it were unaware. Some were taken moments ago. Some captured her reaction when he proposed to her.

“Huh. ” She hummed softly with her head on his chest. He headed inside the bathroom and they showered without having anybody’s body contact.

Emerson was the first to take his bath before Daphne. Lying down on his bed with his eyes closed. They looked closed but he was thinking about some goods that have to be supplied. His mind drifted to Jocelyn and he scoffed. He opened his eyes when he noticed moments on his bed.

“Are you angry at me? ” Daphne asked.

“I should be the one asking that… ” He returned.

“I just want to be with you. I don’t want things like that. ” She mumbled and took his hand.

“I’m worried–

“About what. ”

“Jocelyn. ” He released a breath of relief as lay back on his bed.

“She’s banished from the clan. ”

“What?? When?? ”

“Why are you acting as if you care all of the sudden? ” He asked, looking confused.

“Hell no! I’m not gonna get that bitch in here. Emerson yelled, feeling annoyed. He was so pissed that he shut the bathroom door angrily. Just when he went in, his phone vibrated on the bed. Daphne, feeling annoyed, ignores the call. She felt the urge to call him but her pride wasn’t helping.

It vibrated for the second time. *Who could be calling him this late* she thought. *Are you doubting him now* another voice stood against her previous thought.

“I thought you said I love him. ” Her mind questioned.

“Who are you loving apart from me. ” Emerson asked from the bathroom.

“Pick the call Daphne. ” Emerson added.

“Huh. ” She mumbled and picked the call.

“What?? ” She screamed.

“What happened? ” Emerson asked from the bathroom. He rushed out shortly.

“Jocelyn. ” She mumbled.

“Did someone call my phone because of Jocelyn. ” He asked and took his phone from the bed.

“This is a secret agent. Why did she call that night. ” He gave himself a brief thought.

“How is this secret agent close to you? Daphne asked and sat up.

“She was once a clan member and was the best gun shooter and fighting skills among the female members, she was also smart. I was looking for a trustworthy spy to place in my enemies’ space then. She decided to volunteer for it. It breaks me that she had to go but she told me she had another mission because that useless dude was behind her parents death. In order to get a smooth perfect revenge, she had to go.

“Did she get her revenge? ” Daphne asked curiously.

“Yeah. She waxes his mug with poison every morning. ”

“That’s gross and slow but effective. Oh boy, the dude is gone. ” Daphne laughed…

“What did she say when you picked the call. ” He asked.

“I don’t want to see Jocelyn in this clan again. ” Daphne yelled and lay down on the bed.

“I thought you wanted her back. Why are you changing your mind. ” He asked, still confused about the whole sudden anger she developed after picking an agent call.
