The grief of losing someone you loved in a friendly, brotherly way was what the families were feeling. Madison hasn’t been herself for the past few weeks since the departure of Mason. It was a painful exit for the Son’s. No one ever dreamt of losing a family or loved one among themselves. After the death of Mafia Lawson Marshal, Miss Ellison vow to keep her children away from bloody activities but fate decided to open another door of death to the Son’s.

Daphne finds herself guilty of his death. Memories of how he saved her kept flooding into her head. She knew how selfish her decision was, how selfish her decision about his feelings. She would have lied but lying isn’t her thing.

“I’m selfish” she wailed loudly and groaned in pain. Trinity looked at her in a hopeless way. She sat down on her personal bed with her eyes glued to Daphne’s face. Not that she was just sitting without doing anything. She was sitting because she was tired and frustrated.

“When she’s acting this way. How did she expect to react to his sudden death? She’s in love with him, since day one she steps foot into the clan. But she won’t dare to approach him because of how snobbish he was.

Mason was the only person she fell deeply for. His death was so shocking to her, not only to her but the whole clan. Activities were canceled including the clan party. After funding the whole history of his birth and how things went the other way around made ashamed of himself.

Allison’s little happiness was gone, the love she had for him was not up to the one she had for Madison. Lucas was trying his best to calm her down but things weren’t working out the way he wanted. He planned to tell Emerson about his secret affair with his sister but Mason’s death interrupted his plans.

ONE WEEK LATER

Activities were now back to it’s real form. Things decided to balance back. Mrs Ellison returned back to white house along with Ariel and Madison. The week was the Clan billboard meeting since Emerson wasn’t able to attend the previous one because of the death of Mason. There was enough evidence against Pablo and Lorenzo. Emerson chose to take things slowly but Hudson and Lucas were against the idea.

Olivia was also against the idea of taking things like evidence slowly.

“put this in the car” Emerson instructed and picked up his phone. is phone chime and vibrated. A smile curved up the corner of his lips .

“hello ” the little voice screamed to his ears that had no choice but to move the speaker of his phone away from my ear drum.

“I know tomorrow is your birthday and don’t worry I have a nice special package for you” he uttered with a wide smile on his lips.

“Well, I guess I have to wait patiently for it, since it is not cake and those girly things,” she hummed.

“Who was that ?” the voice asked which made him turn around.

“you were lying emery” she asked with a furious expression on her face.

“no, it’s a surprise package and it’s arriving tomorrow. ”

“oh! that reminds me tomorrow is my younger sister’s birthday” she pouted and wipe the tears that streamed down her cheeks as she took a seat on his bed

“Are you missing her? Should I arrange a visit for her tomorrow?” He bummed her with questions.

“I want to visit her tomorrow with some surprise package and gift. She paused in order to gulp down some words that she knew they were heavy for her to ask.

“What’s on your mind?” he asked and crouched down to her level.

“Can I visit her without having escorts ?” she asked politely.

“no! you must have one I don’t want Lorenzo and Pablo to have someone I’m in love with someone I’m engaged to, ” he paused which brought total silence among the two.

“I’m escorting you so don’t worry but of course there will be back up escorts” he uttered hoping he was able to change her mind and he happened to.

“don’t things too seriously, you want to export me” she asked in order to confirm his words again.

“Yes, I will be with you. I will be your personal escort.” he said and took her hand into his.

“don’t worry we will see her tomorrow.” He replied and kissed her on the forehead.
