Chapter 1115 Dine and Dash?

Chapter 1115 Dine and Dash?

Having been turned down by Liliana, Cassius gritted his teeth and looked at Maximilian. He was about

to take his anger out on Maximilian because he knew Liliana must have feelings for him.

He wondered what was so good about Maximilian and why Liliana liked him. He wanted to know it right

now.

He thought he was much better than Maximilian, and there was no way that Liliana would fell in love

with a poor guy like Maximilian. That was so unfair. He swore he would do better than Maximilian.

Maximilian could feel Cassius's resent towards him. This was unfair to him. He didn't know when and

where he had offended this guy, and why he had to treat him like this.

Cassius pointed to Maximilian and said, "Liliana, do you like this guy?"

Liliana did have feelings for Maximilian, but she hadn't tell Maximilian about it. Now that Cassius just

said it in public, she felt a bit embarrassed.

But then she changed her mind. She thought it would be a good idea if she admitted it so that Cassius

would give up on her.

Therefore, instead of arguing, she nodded her head.

Cassius wasn't the only one that was heartbreaking. For many people in this place, Liliana is their

dream girl. They had never thought that she would end up with Maximilian.

They were all very upset because they thought themselves to be better than Maximilian in all aspects.

They wondered why Liliana didn't even take a look at them. They stared at Maximilian with a furious

gaze.

Maximilian's mouth twitched because he could tell Liliana was using him to turn Cassius down, so that

they could get away from here, but that had made Maximilian the target of all.

Her answer was struck Cassius like thunder. He nearly fell on his knees. He glared at Maximilian with

fury in his chest. This was just like how he had imagined. Liliana liked this guy.

Cassius looked at Maximilian as if he wanted to eat him alive. Maximilian felt this so awkward, and he

knew he met big trouble again.

Cassius still couldn't process the fact. He said to Liliana, "You must be joking. Why would you like this

guy? He doesn't deserve you!"

Liliana replied indifferently when she heard this, "That's none of your business. What we have between

us has nothing to do with you. Do you understand?"

Cassius became speechless when he heard this. Liliana sounded so decisive, and it seemed that she

had no place in his heart for him at all. Content is © by NôvelDrama.Org.

Just by then, the dishes were served. Cassius came up with some ideas. He grinned a smile and said,

"Liliana, you're so beautiful tonight. Please at least let me buy you this dinner. A real man would never

let his date pay the bills."

He said and he looked at Maximilian. His intention was quite obvious.

Maximilian knew what Cassius was doing, but he wasn't provoked. Cassius was just trying to feel

superior over him by saying that.

Liliana grinned with dissatisfaction, "It's my treat today. He just did me a great favor."

Cassius didn't believe that. Liliana's company was ranked in the top 100 in H City. A poor guy like

Maximilian can't help her in any way. Therefore, Cassius affirmed that she made it up to save

Maximiliam's face.

Cassiuscontinued, "Stop saying that. I know you're lying to me. How could he help you in any way? Not

to bother you with trouble is the best he can do, I assume. Maybe he asked you to take him here,

because he had no money. He wanted to dine and dash."

The on-lookers seemed to agree with Cassius when they heard this. Judging from Maximilian's

wearings, they knew Maximilian was an ordinary person.

They dispised Maximilian when they thought Maximilian wanted to dine with the beauty and dash. They

had never seen a guy that was so shameless.

However, at the same time, they still wonder why Liliana would cover for Maximilian, because he wasn't

the particularly handsome type. He was easy on eyes, at most, but not a shockingly handsome guy.

They couldn't understand why Liliana had to protect Maximilian.

Liliana became grim. She was going to treat Maximilian to a nice meal to repay his kindness, but

Cassius showed up and disrupted her plan. She didn't know what to do now.

She felt a bit guilty for Maximilian. This was supposed to be a happy dinner, but she got Maximilian in

her personal affairs again.

She wanted to apologize, Maximilian could see that. He shook his head to her, telling her that he

couldn't care less.

Cassius joked, "She said you're not living on her, then prove it. Pay the bills!"

He knew the consumption here was quite high. A meal would cost the annual salary of an ordinary

family. He wanted to humiliate Maximilian. When Maximilian admitted he didn't have that much money,

he would be able to mock him.

Maximilian knew what he was thinking. Now that Cassius wanted to humiliate him, he should prove to

him that he could afford it.

Maximilian nodded and said, "Okay, I'll do it."

Seeing Maximilian being so confident, Cassius suddenly had a bad feeling about this. His heart lost a

beat and he realized Maximilian might be able to afford that.

But soon after he thought of that, he shook his head because that was nearly impossible. The meal

cost at least 100,000 yuan. He was sure Maximilian didn't have that much money.

Cassius mocked, "Then prove it to me! Don't be a coward and sneak out of the backdoor later. I know

your type, and I've seen this happen lots of times."

The crowd burst into laughter.

Liliana looked at Cassius angrily. The guy was pushing Maximilian too hard. Those words were so

humiliating that she couldn't stand him anymore. She said to Cassius, "Are you done?"

"Liliana, I did this for you! I just want you to be happy! How could he give you happiness without

money?" Cassius was still trying to be like a nice guy.

Liliana hated Cassius's attitude. The waiter also looked down upon Maximilian, he said slowly, "I'll

round it down for you. It's 110,000 in total."

"That ain't cheap," Maximilian said with a wicked smile.

The waiter thought Maximilian must have been shocked by the price, he sneered, "You wouldn't want

to dash."

Maximilian took out a bank card and said, "Who told you I wanted to dash? Watch your attitude!"

The waiter was surprised when he took over the bank card. He couldn't believe the poor guy was

paying the bills.
