The city of Jakarta was entering winter, at that time, Gifer was just starting his first business cooperation with Kiano’s client. At that time, he was still dating Raya, so Mr. Kevin knew about Gifer’s persistence from his academic achievement and talent. Therefore, Mr. Kevin attracted Gifer to work in his company. There was also a secretary. Gifer at that time deliberately invited Raya and introduced her lover to everyone from Kiano’s company. They met at the meeting table of GF Corp. “AGREE!” Instantly Gifer laughed a little looking at Nara with that unexpected behavior. Followed by Nara who scratched her neck which was covered by her long loose hair while smiling awkwardly.

“Ah, forgive my sister. She’s a little strange,” Kiano said, trying to make the atmosphere less chaotic because of his sister’s behavior.

“No problem, Mr. Kiano,” Gifer replied. Raya who saw the drama in front of her was also embarrassed, just staring at the three of them with a flat gaze.

‘Gifer is using that smile to spread his charm.’ Raya said to herself while glancing dislikingly at her lover. Of course, it didn’t escape Gifer’s gaze which was diverted to Raya. However, what was in Gifer’s mind was just the opposite.

‘Duh, maybe Raya is jealous of my attitude. I have to keep myself from getting lost in the atmosphere. Stay focused, Gifer.’ Gifer said to himself.

The meeting with Kiano was over, and Gifer was right, Raya was jealous because she had been silent. Gifer had to escort Kiano, his secretary, and Nara to the front of the company in order to show good behavior to the client. Nara continued to watch Gifer whose arm was already held by Raya.

“We can meet outside of working hours sometime for a casual chat, Mr. Gifer,” Kiano asked while making small talk.

“Ah, yes, you may, very well Mr. Kiano. I also hope that this collaboration can make us even closer,” Gifer replied with his smiling face which made Raya dislike Gifer even more. I wouldn’t say jealous. It’s just that the right made Raya disgusted.

“That’s right, Mr. Gifer. Thank you for today’s meeting. We take our leave first,” Kiano said slightly bowing his head to Gifer to which Gifer replied the same thing. Hearing the word ‘go home’ from Kiano’s lips made Nara shake her head in disapproval and stopped their steps.

“Sister, one moment!” Called Nara while holding Kiano’s hand to enter the car first. Instantly, everyone’s eyes were on her including Gifer who immediately faced the girl.

“Why, Nara?” Kiano asked.

“Mr. Gifer, may I ask for your cell phone number? So that we can communicate if we find something urgent,” Nara said while taking out her cell phone from her bag.

“A-hh, yes.” Nara thrust her cell phone to Gifer. Gifer started typing the number and saved it.

“Thank you. We’ll take our leave, Mr. Gifer,” Nara said.

“Okay.” The three of them had already left, when they turned around, Raya was behind Gifer.

“Oh my! You scared me, honey,” Gifer said while stroking his chest in surprise.

“What’s the point of giving your cell phone number to someone else?” Raya asked.

“Hmm, let’s talk in my room.” Gifer turned Raya’s shoulder and walked towards his office. Back then, there was no Haris. Gifer’s assistant was Raya. So the one who prepared everything was Raya.

After arriving at his room, Gifer began to explain everything to Raya.

“I’m sorry, dear. I know, you must be jealous that I’m close as if I’m giving more attention to someone else?”

“You ask, yes I am. Who wouldn’t be jealous if their lover was looking at another girl, huh!”

“Sorry, yes. I promise, I won’t do that again,”

“Whatever! Raya seemed unconcerned and walked towards the door of Gifer’s room, before a voice interrupted her.

“Where are you going? Let me take you,”

“I’m going shopping, do you want to come?”

“No problem, I’ll accompany you, just don’t get angry again.” Gifer replied with an apologetic face that made him look even more cute. but according to Raya it meant absolutely nothing. Gifer took Raya’s hand and left the office. Along the way Gifer pulled her hand gently which made her think.

‘I’m in this relationship because I have to, Gif. If it wasn’t for my father, I wouldn’t want to continue this relationship with you either. But seeing your face that really doesn’t want us to part, makes me even more unable to escape from you. Hah, I don’t know how long I’ll be in this boring relationship.’ Raya said to herself.
