Be Your Lover Forever (Alicia)

Chapter 1376

The feng shui in Trevor's office was surely exceptional. Each time she came, Victoria was not only able to receive much inspiration for her clothing designs, but she also felt her back luck vanishing at that very spot. That day, Trevor had to deal with some official business outside of the company, so Victoria brought herself to his office without his accompaniment.

She didn't want to disturb or bother his work, thus she mostly stayed in the resting area. She only came out occasionally to take a stroll when she had time to kill.

Victoria even brought her own paintbrush, a decision that drastically increased her work efficiency. Her black-and-white designs became more and more colorful each passing day. All that was left for Victoria was to mend and revise some minute details. Seeing her hard work come to life, she couldn't hide her pleasure and excitement.

That was the life of a designer. Sometimes, they couldn't produce one single satisfactory work in three years. Other times, it would only take them three minutes to design a miracle.

Victoria slightly tidied up the desk and stretched as she checked the time. "Wow," she thought to herself, "It's already past eleven o'clock! Time flies, doesn't it? He should be back soon, right?"

With the mere thought of Trevor in mind, Victoria's happiness became apparent. She grabbed her phone and left for the bathroom.

Victoria scrolled through Facebook, read some online news and chatted with Alicia for a while before getting up to wash her hands. She combed her hair gracefully with her lips pursed. Her hand

subconsciously reached into her pocket when she suddenly realized that she was in his office. Her purse was outside.

As she turned around and opened the door, a sweet voice suddenly appeared, "Mr. Clements

Their eyes met. In front of her stood a young woman Victoria didn't recognize. The smile on the woman's face suddenly became distorted. After some time, the woman finally came back to her senses, "Madam...Madam Victoria, I'm here with some documents for Mr. elements!"

They were in an extremely awkward situation, and the woman's tone changed drastically. However, she subconsciously swept through Victoria's clothes. A tidy white blouse and black skirt. It was surely a standard whitecollar's clothing style. Despite that, Victoria's sleeves were rolled up and her collar was wide open, making her look sexier than usual.

Victoria examined the young woman in front of her too. She had a slender figure and was wearing a tight dress. Her meticulously-combed hair was coupled with slightly oversized black-framed glasses. Her choice of clothing seemed old-fashion and lame, yet she wasn't overseeable. Victoria found herself involuntarily drawn to her. Naturally, she also noticed her flawless skin and those big eyes behind the glasses.

"Yes, a young woman with such beautiful skin," Victoria mulled over the unfamiliar woman, "It seems like she has applied mascara, and I think she's wearing contact lenses too. Perhaps that's why her eyes look so big! She'd look pretty good without those huge glasses!"

However, after observing the woman for a little longer, her intentions were in broad daylight.

The woman followed the company's standard dress code: a black suit, a pair of black stockings, the custom-made black heels -those that don't make any sound when you walk - and a white blouse. Despite that, her clothes had been obviously modified to show off her body. The top button of her suit was open, while her blouse was so loose and exposing, Victoria could even see her undergarments.

With another glance, Victoria noticed a little white mark in between her brassieres as well.

Were those...toilet papers?

Did she think the upper half of her body was not enough to attract attention? Was that why she shoved those things inside her brassieres?

Victoria took another sweep at her. She studied her thin O-shaped legs. The woman was clever, though. She stood in a semicrossed position, which made her 'flaw' pretty inconspicuous. It was safe to say that Victoria was impressed by her huge efforts.

Victoria truly admired her confidence and boldness!

Victoria and Trevor were basically inseparable these days, still, there she was.

At that moment, any idiot would have comprehended the woman's purpose. Victoria lifted her hair and decided not to reveal her intentions just yet. "Which department are you from?" She inquired casually, "Mr. Clements isn't here, but I'll pass the document on your behalf!"

"I'm Dakota, a secretary from the Finance Department...I'm here to deliver the company's financial budget for next year. It's very important!"

The hesitation in Dakota's voice was evident.

She even took a glance at the documents on Trevor's desk.

At that moment, Dakota regretted everything. The people just now said that Victoria wasn't here today! Nobody was in the office when she came in, but she could hear someone in the bathroom. She thought it was Trevor!

In the past, people used to say that men despised women who couldn't differentiate their work life from their personal ones. That was why she never thought Trevor doted on his wife at all. In fact, she thought Victoria had decided to come here and supervise him on her own.

From her point of view, those kinds of women were the most foolish ones. The pressure and need to control would only suffocate the men they so desperately loved. That was why she decided to try her luck! She wanted to help Trevor "relieve his stress".

She didn't envision Victoria's presence!

The most important thing was that Victoria had already noticed every little detail! Her intentions must be as clear as the sky!

She wanted to retrieve the documents on the table but didn't know how.

At the same time, Victoria suddenly stated, "Financial department secretary! Alright, I got it, you can go now!"

He wasn't even there! Why was she still standing there?

Even if any of the company's

departments wanted to send

documents to Trevor, this pettynoveldrama

secretary still wouldn't have the right

to be there. All secretaries'

Bel.ne

documents are to be sent to the

secretary's office to be delivered by someone else later. She must've put in a lot of effort for this "Visit"!

"Madam Victoria?"

Dakota was sweating intensely. She still couldn't come up with any decent excuses for her actions. Victoria's face fell and her expression darkened as she warned, "Why are you still here?" This secretary, she doesn't know when to retreat, does she? Victoria wondered if it was necessary to expose her there and then.

Dakota scurried over to the door in an instant.

Victoria couldn't help rolling her eyes upon seeing her fleeing anxiously.

"Had she forgotten her place? She does have a pretty absurd dream, doesn't she?" Victoria thought to herself, "How was she going to seduce my husband with that kind of aura and 'elegance'? Trevor had already encountered so many others who were better than her!"

"No," Victoria thought, "Prevention is better than cure. I have to stop these kinds of things from happening in the future!"

With that thought in mind, an idea seemed to have struck Victoria as she ran back into the resting area. She pulled out a bunch of bills and receipts from her bag and glued them together in a row.

"I'll knock some sense into her" Victoria thought, "I'll ask the finance department to report her spending this month!"

With the bills and receipts in hand, Victoria walked over to Trevor's desk and turned on his fax machine. She wanted to scan her designs so she could color and edit them on the computer. While she scanned them one by one, her mind ran fast as she carefully put together a plan.

Should she post a notice on behalf of the company? Would it work? Victoria herself wasn't even

intimidated, would it even be necessary?

Her husband was so handsome, it made her life so melancholic sometimes!

Victoria retrieved her designs after the fax machine started beeping, indicating that the scanning was done. The bills and receipts were still in her hands.

Where should she put them?

She roamed around the room several times before finding the perfect spot for them. Victoria strolled over

to Trevor's desk and slowly picked up the topmost folder.

"Since you're so shameless, I'll just drop them in your folder! "

She would discipline the first one to warn the

rest!
