Chapter 124 Shirley Won by Generosity
Chapter 124 Shirley Won by Generosity
She understood it well after she became a mother.
Jacob had a tendency to violence for a period of time. Luckily, she noticed it and corrected his
abnormal behaviour. So, his violent act was stopped.
Dahlia changed her expression slightly, her heart cracked after hearing Shirley’s words.
She was afraid of Bryan’s power but she did not want the outsider to talk bad about her son.
She hugged her son and caressed him gently.
While Mr. Koch looked at Ruben with suspicious sight. He seemed to believe whatever Shirley said. His
son liked to smash things when he threw tantrum. He must get whatever he wanted immediately, or
else he would show a bad mood.
However, he only had a son after his wife gave birth to four daughters. In addition, he earned a lot
during these few years. He could afford whatever his son wanted, so he just spoilt his son.
Now, he felt that he did something wrong.
Cameron who stood beside shook his head when seeing Mrs. Koch changed her expression.
Some people did not know chalk from cheese. Shirley was telling Mrs. Koch that her son was
problematic but Mrs. Koch thought that she was talking shit about her son.
“Mrs. Koch, don’t suspect Dr. Thomas, she is the psychologist from America California SL Hospital. If Original content from NôvelDrama.Org.
you don’t know what is SL Hospital, you can search ‘psychologist SO’,” Cameron wrote SO in the air.
Dahlia smiled embarrassingly when she was insinuated.
Mr. Koch took out his phone and searched the hospital name mentioned by Cameron. It showed SO
instantly.
It seemed like SO was the tag of SL Hospital.
Follow by the tag, a lot of SO’s profile was shown. Although there were no photos, her past honours
were stated in her personal details.
Mr. Koch looked up at Shirley abruptly, he was exhilarated. Then, he passed his phone to his wife.
When Dahlia saw the message on it, she showed an interesting sight. She was even embarrassed.
“You…you are SO…” Dahlia looked up at Shirley, it was unbelievable, “My family member has met SO
in SL Hospital before, his health condition was bad at that time. However, he was recovered after SO
helped him.”
Most importantly, SO knew that he was poor and did not ask for any cost to cure him.
Dahlia straight away pushed her son towards her, “Dr. Thomas, my son has a bad temper. He always
behaves like that at home. He must get whatever he wants, or else he will throw tantrum and smash
things. We are used to it.”
“Yes, Dahlia and I only have our very first son at our old age. We can afford whatever he wants, so we
try our best to satisfy him,” Mr. Koch nodded and continued Dahlia’s words.
When Emma heard that, she curved her lips and said, “My mommy never treats us like that but I know
that mommy loves me and my brother so much.”
Dahlia was guilty when seeing Emma who was obedient.
Shirley caressed her daughter’s head gently and said, “Before that, do Mr. Koch and Mrs. Koch have
other children?”
Dahlia changed her expression and looked at her husband.
The Koch family preferred boys to girls. Especially after Mr. Koch earned a lot, his parents wanted to
have a grandson so that he could be the heir of the property.
For the daughters of Mr. Koch, they were chased out of the Koch family and lived independently. Mr.
Koch’s parents thought that the girls had to get married one day. It was a waste of money to raise them
up.
Mr. Koch’s face was reddened, he was embarrassed. He lowered his head and said, “We have four
more daughters.”
Shirley guessed that they had other children but she did not expect them to have four more children.
Shirley did not ask about the condition of the four daughters while she hugged her children, “The more
the children at home, the livelier the home. The siblings can help each other in the future. If the siblings
don’t maintain a harmonious relationship, the home will not be peaceful.”
Mr. Koch raised his head and agreed with her words while Dahlia showed a regretful expression. Her
eyes were reddened.
“Dr. Thomas, are you able to cure my son?” Mr. Koch asked.
“I can,” Shirley nodded and said confidently, “You dote on him too much. You should find someone he
likes and something he likes to do. Then, guide him slowly. Ruben needs companion but not dotage.”
“Then he…if he wants to get something, what should we do? If we don’t give him, he will throw
tantrum,” Dahlia asked.
“Ruben does not have friends, the kids in the kindergarten don’t want to get closer to him,” Emma
revealed the messages but it was normal that the kids in the kindergarten did not like to play with
Ruben because of his behaviour.
Dahlia and his husband were aware of it. Ruben did not really have friends. He played alone every time
they picked him up.
Of course, Dahlia was also disdainful to let the kids play with Ruben. She thought that they lowered his
standard.
“Secondly, his parents have problems on the view of life and values,” although it was hurtful to point out
the problem, his mother did not have an appropriate view of life and values after Jacob analyzed it.
Dahlia’s face was flushed, Dahlia knew who was she mentioning.
Mr. Koch turned and stared at Dahlia fiercely.
Shirley looked at Ruben, she put her children on the sofa and stood up. She walked towards Ruben.
Ruben looked at Shirley with tears in his eyes.
“Kid, what is your name? Can you tell me your name?”
Ruben hid behind Dahlia and answered softly, “My name is Ruben.”
“Are you afraid of me?”
Ruben looked at his father subconsciously.
He was not afraid of the woman, he just worried that he would be punished by his father if he said
something wrong.
“Bloke, auntie is talking to you. What kind of attitude are you showing?!” Mr. Koch almost slapped
Ruben, Shirley quickly stopped him, “Mr. Koch.”
His hand stopped in the air.
Shirley stretched her hands and dragged Ruben back. She held his shoulder with her hands and said,
“I know it now, you are afraid of your father.”
“Dad…daddy will beat me. He will hang me up and beat me. It is terrible…” Ruben felt wronged and
cried.
Dahlia squatted down and hugged his son. She coaxed him gently, “Don’t cry, Ruben. Don’t cry,
mommy will buy your favourite toy for you later.”
Shirley was speechless and glanced at Dahlia. She knew it now, one did not care about the son while
one doted on the son too much.
“Mr. Koch, Mrs. Koch, let me chat with the kid,” Shirley said.
They looked at each other, then Dahlia nodded.
Shirley hugged Ruben and put him between Jacob and Emma.
Emma hugged the Peggy Pig and moved to another side instantly while Jacob frowned and disdained
him.
