Chapter 1300 Mommy Will Not Wait For You

Chapter 1300 Mommy Will Not Wait For You

Benjamin spent over two hours playing with the children at the amusement park before taking them to eat.

The kids had a blast and were drenched in sweat from playing too much. When it came to mealtime, they practically wolfed down their food.

Benjamin furrowed his brows and cautioned them, “Slow down! Careful, it's hot!”

I'd already bought them snacks when they got out of school. Why do they still behave as if they haven't eaten all day? Content provided by NôvelDrama.Org.

The kids took a gander at him, then continued to eat. Indeed, they had had snacks, but after playing for so long, they were hungry again.

Benjamin took care of the six children, serving food into their bowls, yet he hadn't had a single bite himself.

Tim looked at the man and queried in concern, “Mr. Graham, aren't you hungry?”

With a gentle smile playing at the corners of his mouth, Benjamin answered indulgently, “You guys can eat first!”

Zachary also looked up at the man and said unapologetically, “If you don't start eating, we're going to finish it all!”

“We'll order more if there isn't enough!”

Benjamin had taken them to Drawbridge Dining to eat. Inside the private dining room, only the sounds of the kids eating could be heard.

After serving the children more food, the man began digging into his food but put down his cutlery after just a couple of bites.

As the kids had been eating for a while and were no longer as hungry, they turned their gazes toward him in unison.

“Mr. Graham, are you done eating?” Oliver asked curiously.

Benjamin patted the boy's little head, took out his phone, and called Arissa. “Let me check if your mommy has eaten yet!”

The six little ones chuckled, and Jasper chimed in with a smile, “Mommy must have eaten already. She won't wait for you!”

Benjamin gave the boy a glance. When a soft voice came from the other end of the line, he involuntarily smiled.

“Honey, have you had dinner yet? I'm eating at Drawbridge Dining with the kids. Do you want me to bring some takeout for you?”

The kids stole glances at the tender, indulgent-looking Benjamin while eating.

Meanwhile, at the hospital, Arissa had already had her dinner. However, her mouth watered uncontrollably at the thought of those delicious dishes when she heard Benjamin mention that he was dining with the children at Drawbridge Dining.

“I want duck confit!”

With a doting smile, Benjamin asked gently, “Is that all? Do you want anything else?”

“Well, decide for me. I want to eat everything!” she said with a playful pout. “Have you guys returned from your outing, or have you not gone yet?”

“We already went. Didn't you see the video I sent you?” He was a bit puzzled.

Arissa chuckled awkwardly. After a certain someone went out, she felt a bit bored and watched TV but ended up falling asleep midway through.

If it weren't for Mary bringing her food and waking her up to eat, she would probably have slept till nighttime.

She had just finished her meal and chatted with Mary when Benjamin's call came through. Mary had only left moments ago.

“I'll watch it in a moment!”

Benjamin raised an eyebrow. Noticing that Jesse was struggling to scoop food, he reached over with his fork to help while inquiring, “Where were you? Why didn't you see it?”

He had thought they could share the joy together while he and the kids were at the amusement park, but as it turned out, she didn't see the video at all.

“I was asleep! I only woke up after Grandaunt came and woke me!” Arissa laughed and changed the subject. “Go finish the meal with the kids. I'll go check out the video!”

“Mm!” Benjamin hummed and only put down his phone to eat after hearing her hang up.

“What does Mommy want to eat?” Gavin turned his head to look at the man, his eyes twinkling as he blinked.

“Duck confit!” As soon as Benjamin mentioned it, Gavin and the others also started to crave some duck confit.

“We want to eat that too!” Jasper quickly spoke up and looked at Benjamin eagerly.

With a light chuckle, the man called over the server and ordered two servings of duck confit. “One to be served here, and one to go!”

He also ordered a few other dishes that Arissa liked to eat and instructed the server to pack them in advance.

After everyone had eaten their fill, Benjamin and the kids picked up the packed dishes and left the private dining room.

No sooner had the seven of them stepped out than they came face to face with Miranda.
