You, Me and Our Genius Twins

Chapter 610 The Best Brother

Chapter 610 The Best Brother

Sun Garden.

Madeline had a strong physique and fully recovered after two days of rest. There was no trace of her having a temperature of 102.2F just two days ago.

In the morning, she held the hands of Quincy and Joel and went downstairs for breakfast.

Sebastian sat at the dining table, tapping away on his computer. When he saw her leading the two children downstairs, he quickly typed something out before setting it aside.

"Daddy!" Joel ran over and threw himself into his arms.

Sebastian smiled and embraced the boy as he ruffled his hair. "Did you sleep well last night?" Ccontent © exclusive by Nô/vel(D)ra/ma.Org.

"Yes!" Joel raised his little arms, and his chubby face was filled with joy as he added, "Daddy, I had a very good dream last night!"

"Oh?" Sebastian smiled as he looked at the boy. "What kind of dream?"

"I dreamed that you, Mommy, Aldo, and I flew to the sky!" Joel said while gesturing happily. "We were sitting in a huge hot air balloon as we flew to the sky. There were so many big, fluffy clouds in the sky, and the clouds were sweet. I reached out and grabbed a big piece of cloud. I took a bite, and it was so sweet!"

Sebastian was at a loss for words upon hearing that.

"You glutton!" Quincy sneered at him.

Meanwhile, Joel snuggled in Sebastian's arms and looked at him. "Aldo ate it too. I fed it to him, and he liked it too!"

"But that was just a dream!" Quincy said with a serious expression. "Things in dreams are not real."

Joel blinked his eyes. "But Aldo really likes sweet things. He likes them even more than me!"

Madeline couldn't help but chuckle.

Indeed, her eldest son always had a serious face and liked to imitate adults in his words and actions. He seemed like a little adult. But this cool kid, who always had a serious expression, loved to eat sweet things. He loved it even more than Joel.

It was normal for children to like sweet things, but her eldest son thought that people who liked sweet things were childish and felt embarrassed about liking sweet things. Hence, he refused to admit that he liked sweet things and always controlled himself when eating them.

He looked at those sweet treats, and his big eyes were filled with longing, but he pretended to have no interest in them.

It was really cute!

Having too many sweets was not good for children's teeth. Every time Madeline saw Quincy have some treats, she pretended not to notice and let him eat a little to satisfy his craving.

Unexpectedly, her younger son, that little rascal, also knew about the secret stash hidden by his older brother.

Hearing Madeline's laughter, Quincy glanced at her, his ears turning slightly red. "You got it wrong. I used to like eating them when I was little, but now I don't like them anymore!"

This time, Sebastian also laughed.

Telling a five-year-old that phrase was like saying, "I'm not a three-year-old!"—there was a certain ironic similarity.

At that, Quincy looked at Sebastian. "Dad, are you mocking me?"

Sebastian was silent for a moment before commenting, "No, I'm laughing with joy."

He ruffled Quincy's hair. "Although we like eating sweets, we know that eating too many is not good for us, so we should restrain ourselves. It's impressive that you already have such strong self-control at such a young age. I am very proud of you."

"Yes!" Joel cast a gaze filled with admiration at Quincy. "Aldo is amazing. He can do anything he wants to do! I can't do that. I made up my mind to jump 100 times every day to grow taller, but I can't keep it up after jumping 30 times. I tell myself that I'll jump 30 times today and 100 times tomorrow, but I still can't jump 100 times the next day. Aldo never does that!"

Joel looked at Quincy with a proud expression as he boasted, "Once Aldo sets a goal, he can definitely achieve it. He is a superman!"

Madeline was silent before she muttered, "A superman, huh?"

"It means being the best at everything!" Joel tilted his head and explained, "Aldo is even more powerful than the usual person, so he's a superman!"

A speechless Madeline murmured, "You're pretty amazing too."

He's so young, yet he already knows what it means to be a superman.

"Yes, of course. I'm pretty amazing too," Joel nodded vigorously before he said happily, "I have super amazing parents and a big brother. I just need to sit back and relax, so I'm also super amazing."

Madeline paused before asking, "Isn't sitting back and relaxing not good?"

"Isn't sitting back and relaxing good, though?" Joel blinked before explaining, "Relaxing is good, no?"

Madeline was at a loss for words. "What I mean is, it's better to work hard as a person," she eventually commented.

"But my dream is to be relaxed and happy," Joel said. "Isn't being a person about realizing your dreams? I think I can be relaxed and happy by lying down and still achieve my dreams, can't I, Mom?"

"You can!"

Sebastian and Quincy said in unison, "You can."

Madeline was speechless upon hearing that.

Sebastian smiled at Madeline and ruffled Joel's head. "Your father's only requirement for you is to be a kind and honest person and also to have a healthy lifestyle. As long as you are healthy, happy, and positive, you can sit back and relax if you want. Your father will support you!"

"I will support you too!" Quincy said seriously. "When I grow up, I want to start a business. I will open a high-tech company and give you shares. You don't have to do anything, but you can receive a lot of dividends at the end of the year."

"Wow!" Joel admired Quincy, his eyes sparkling as he murmured, "You are amazing, Aldo!"

Sebastian did not know what to say in response.

In the end, he turned to Madeline and said, "I think it's necessary for me to transfer some shares to Aldo and Buddy now."

Madeline couldn't help but chuckle. "What do kids know about shares? They don't need any money now. Let's talk about shares when they grow up."

"I don't need you to give me shares, Dad," Quincy said seriously. "When I grow up, I want to start my own business. I don't want to rely on my parents."

"Me, me, me!" Joel raised his small, tender hand and weakly said, "Can I rely on my parents? If I rely on them, I can sit back and relax…"

Madeline was, once again, rendered speechless.

Quincy glanced at him and said, "Buddy, you don't have to depend on our parents. Just rely on me. I will take care of you and let you live a carefree life!"

"You are so kind, Aldo!" Joel embraced Quincy and planted a kiss on his cheek.

Sebastian, too, was speechless.

Why does it feel like my eldest son has stolen my spotlight?

He had a headache and tapped the heads of the two little ones. "Don't worry about things that don't matter. It's your father's responsibility and duty to support you until you're 18. Once you reach 18, you will inherit my business. The money I earn in my lifetime is enough for you to spend for ten lifetimes!"

Quincy stated, "I want to start my own business, not inherit your business."

Joel blinked his large round eyes and said, "I want to sit back and relax, and not inherit my father's business too."
