Chapter 466

Coralie felt angry at first, but she soon realized that it was pointless to argue with someone who held

these weird thoughts.

"Yes, yes, I'm not as beautiful as you, nor am I as lucky as you." Coralie thought she might as well

admit it.

However, this was the truth.

The only reason she had been able to meet Skylar, was probably because she had done many good

deeds in her past life.

"How shameless." Evelyn did not expect Coralie to admit it right away.

"Not as shameless as you are," Coralie returned.

Coralie took out her phone and sent a message to Skylar, asking him to inform her after he was done

talking to his father.

"Don't be so full of yourself! My first plan was to enter the Holland family. It's still not concluded who

would be the winner in this game yet."

Evelyn had hated Coralie ever since she had returned to the country with Anthony.

During her first meeting with Skylar, she soon realized that he was much better than Anthony.

She leaned her body sluggishly against Skylar's body.

Coralie happened to witness this scene, but she did not speak a word. Instead, she continued to play

with her phone.

"Get lost."

Skylar stood steadily and waited for two seconds for Evelyn to get up, but she did not seem to have the

Just then, Anthony was also coming out of the cafe.

said, "Please get us the bill and call your manager here. We need to check the surveillance video."

Anthony and Evelyn then left while holding hands.

As soon as Evelyn and Anthony left, the cafe's manager came over and he recognized Skylar at a

glance. The manager then quickly greeted him, "Welcome, President Holland. It was our honor to have

you here."

"Please get us the bill."

"The bill has been paid. This is your receipt. Please check it while I get the surveillance footage for

you."

The manager spoke to Skylar respectfully.

"Never mind, we don't need it anymore."

Skylar took his card and left with Coralie.

Since Anthony had left, there was no point to look into this further.

"What did you and your father talk about? Does your mother know about this?"

Coralie expressed her concern as soon as she got into the car.

"He claimed that he had told her last night. I'll send you home first and then I'll go to my mother's

"Where's my mom?"

"Madam is sleeping upstairs," the servant answered.

"Why is the TV on while she's asleep? And who sleeps at this hour?"

Coralie commented casually, but both she and Skylar realized that something was wrong when she

said this.

The servant was a little confused.

Skylar rushed to Lillian's bedroom and tried to open the door, but found that it was locked. Then, he

forced it open by kicking it with his leg.

The wooden door flew away upon the impact.

Skylar went in, followed by Coralie.

normally. He asked, "Why did you sleep at this hour?"

"I had insomnia last night, so I was trying to replenish my sleep today," Lillian replied with a smile.

She had always been a hot- tempered person. It was surprising that she had toned down so much, and

she was so different when she talked and smiled, as compared to the past.
