You Complete Me novel (Skylar and Coralie)

Chapter 367

Chapter 367

When Coralie heard this, she couldn't help but raise her voice.

Lilian felt humiliated and immediately retorted, "What's wrong? You were the one who left your child

with me, and he's a real hindrance! It's good enough that I'm allowing you to meet him. What else do

you want?"

"Which washing machine?"

Coralie did not have time to argue with her. She turned to the woman who had answered and asked

her instead.

Mrs. Andrews pointed to the stairs and said that it was on the second floor's veranda.

Coralie ran up to the second floor. As soon as she went upstairs and climbed the second floor, she

heard Hendric's sobs!

"Hendric!"

Coralie followed the sound and opened the only closed door there. There, she saw that Hendric was in

the small washing machine.

Because the washing machine was high, Hendric would not be able to get out of it at all.

It was extremely dangerous!

Coralie ran in quickly and took him out of the washing machine.

Skylar followed behind her, just in time to see Coralie carrying Hendric out.

"Mom, Dad!" Hendric cried in a hoarse voice. "I don't want to be with Grandma anymore."

His eyes were swollen from crying.

"How long have you been here?"

Coralie asked him with her arms around Hendric.

"I don't know." Hendric held Coralie's neck and said, "Mom, I'm hungry."

"Skylar, l-l'm afraid I can't control myself, I..."

Coralie was holding Hendric in her arms. When she heard that Hendric said that he was hungry, she

thought that he might have been there for the entire afternoon or even longer. She was furious at

Lillian.

She couldn't wait to go down and give Lillian a piece of her mind!

"I understand. If you want to do something about, do it. I won't blame you."

Skylar knew that even he wouldn't be able to forgive Lilian for this. As Hendric's mother, Coralie must

be so furious that she would be willing to kill her.

Coralie went downstairs with Hendric in her arms. Lillian didn't seem to think that she had done

anything wrong.

The four of them were still playing chess happily.

Coralie went down and saw Lillian acting as if nothing had happened. Just as she was about to go over

and argue with Lillian, Skylar walked in front of her and kicked the entire chess table over!

The four ladies who were playing chess were stunned.

Coralie stood to the side, bewildered.

"Skylar, what are you doing?"

Lillian hadn't expected Skylar to react this way. She sat on the chair in a daze.

"Mom, it was you who insisted that it was easy to take care of a child, and you who insisted that the

grandson of the Holland family should be kept in the Holland family. And this is how you took care of

him?"

Skylar stood there and questioned Lillian.

He knew that if he didn't do this, Coralie would definitely argue with Lillian. By then, no matter how

reasonable Coralie's argument was, Lilian wouldn't back down either.

Lillian raised her head and looked at Hendric, who was being held in Coralie's arms. His face was

covered with tears and his eyes were swollen, but she did not feel that she had done anything wrong.

Instead, she said with disdain, "What's wrong? I brought him out because I promised you! I allowed him

to watch TV. He kept crying and shouting that he was hungry. It was too noisy. I couldn't help but put

him in the washing machine. Besides, the washing machine is very safe. He can't climb out again!"

Listening to Lillian's words, Coralie really wanted to go up and slap her.

However, she also knew that the reason why Skylar had kicked the table over was because he didn't

want her to have a conflict with Lillian.

"Is this how you care for a child?" Skylar looked at Lillian, "When I was taking care of him, I would

always have someone keep an eye on him. When he was hungry, they would bring him food. When he

was thirsty, they would bring water. Did you think you were raising an electronic pet?"

"I was playing chess and I didn't have time to look at him. It's good enough that I took him along with

me. What else do you expect?"

Lillian was furious as well. This is property © of NôvelDrama.Org.

She felt that she had done her best!

"We didn't..."

Just as Coralie was about to finish her sentence, Skylar pulled her behind him and said, "We didn't ask

you to look after the child. It was you who insisted upon it. You said you wanted to take care of Hendric,

and you said that it wasn't a big deal."

The other women sat there in silence, not daring to say a word.

After all, although they were rich ladies, their husbands' or sons' companies were nothing compared to

Skyton Corporation.

"What? Now that you're a father, have you forgotten about your mother? What's wrong with me caring

for a child in my way? Did he get hurt or anything?"

Lillian saw that Skylar was taking Coralie's side, and immediately grew even angrier.

"If Hendric had accidentally opened the door to the washing machine, his life would've been in danger!"

Coralie couldn't help but reply as she stood behind Skylar.

"How is it possible for a child to do so?"

Lillian did not thinkthat would happen.

"There's a possibility for that to happen if he had randomly pressed on the buttons."

Coralie was seething with anger..

Skylar questioned, "How long have you been keeping Hendric in there?"

Upon hearing his question, Lilian began to stutter. She glanced at her watch. "Just... just..."

"Just an hour or so."

A woman next to her replied.

"Is that so?" Skylar looked at the lady who spoke and said, "If I remember correctly, your husband is

from Carter Company, right? If I find out that you didn't tell the truth today, you might have to put this

house on mortgage from tomorrow onwards."

His voice was cold and filled with dissatisfaction.

When Mrs. Andrews heard this, she was frightened. She quickly said, "No, no, Mrs. Holland came at 10

o'clock in the morning, locked the child at 12 o'clock in the afternoon. Now, now..."

She recounted while speaking.

Before Mrs. Andrews could figure it out, Skylar and Coralie had already figured it out. It was now 6

o'clock in the evening.

Hendric had been locked up in the laundry room for six hours!

Hearing this, Coralie almost broke down. She held Hendric in her arms and stormed out.

Skylar looked at Lillian, expressionless. "Mom, do you have the right to be a grandmother yourself?

You should be very clear about the answer in your heart."

With that, he turned and left.

"Mom, I am hungry."

Hendric said, holding Coralie's neck.

"I'll take you to dinner right now, okay?"

Coralie kept shedding tears as she walked. Hendric had been locked in the washing machine for six

hours with the door closed. If Hendric had accidentally opened the washing machine, he might not

have been discovered until he was dead.

Skylar chased after her and said, "Coralie, I'm sorry."

Coralie completely ignored Skylar. "It's all your fault. You suggested letting Hendric stay with Lilian. If

there's really something wrong with Hendric, I definitely won't forgive you."

In fact, she couldn't bear to blame Skylar, but now she was full of anger and had nowhere to vent her

anger. She could only take out her anger on Skylar.

Coralie carried Hendric and walked very quickly. She didn't notice that Skylar hadn't caught up with her.

It was not until Hendric shouted, "Dad, Dad, what's wrong with you?"

Coralie turned around and saw Skylar kneeling on the ground in pain. It was obvious that his legs were

hurting.

"Skylar, hold on!"

Coralie put Hendric down and quickly ran into Skylar's car. She brought over the water and handed him

the medicine.
