You Complete Me novel (Skylar and Coralie)

Chapter 360

Chapter 360

"Where is he right now?"

Carolie was delighted to hear the news. She thought that Skylar would only return home at least one

month later, so it was a shock to learn that he had already returned.

"He is at home right now."

The maid replied.

Hendric seemed to have understood and asked Coralie, "Is Dad back?"

"Yes, that's right!"

Coralie answered with certainty.

At this time, when Lillian heard that Skylar had returned, she didn't argue with Coralie anymore. They

walked towards the direction of the car together.

They didn't say anything along the way home.

The car arrived at the Holland family's entrance.

Coralie was the first to get off the car and she saw a man standing at the door of the Holland family's

villa. He was wearing a black casual suit and was leaning against a pillar by the door while looking

down at the phone in his hand.

When he heard the sound of the car, the man looked up and saw Coralie standing at the door of the

car. Only then did he reach out his arms for an embrace.

"Skylar!" Coralie exclaimed.

Coralie looked at the man in front of her and felt very excited. She also opened her arms and threw

herself into the man's embrace.

"Did you miss me?"

Skylar hugged Coralie and kissed her slightly messy hair. His voice was gentle.

"Of course, I missed you so much."

Coralie nodded enthusiastically in his arms.

She thought that her feelings for Skylar were the same as any old married couple. However, that day,

as she saw Skylar standing there, and when she threw herself into the man's embrace, Coralie

discovered something else.

Her love for Skylar was way beyond her imagination.

"I missed you too. I couldn't wait to see you so I came out to wait."

Skylar's lips pressed against the woman's ears as he whispered to her.

"Dad!" Hendric also got out of the car at this time. When he saw Skylar standing over by the pillar, he

ran over excitedly and asked, "Dad, have your legs gotten better?"

"Yes, I've recovered."

Skylar nodded.

Lillian, who was the last to get out of the car, looked at her son standing there with his legs not at all as

if he had been injured. She could not help but feel surprised and asked, "Your legs are cured?"

"That's right."

Skylar looked at Lillian, but there was none of the mother- son bond between them like Carolie and

Hendric. It was as if he was looking at a person whose relationship with him was like any other person.

"Skylar, you've only just recovered. Let's go inside."

When Coralie thought of Skylar's legs, she was worried that he wouldn't be able to stand for a long

time, so she let him in.

"Let's go," he agreed.

Skylar held onto Coralie with one hand and Hendric with the other, then turned around and walked into

the house.

Lillian, on the other hand, did not think much of it and followed after them.

When the three of them entered the room, due to Skylar being present, the servants' attitude towards

Coralie improved considerably. After Skylar brought Coralie into the room, the servants quickly took out

a teacup and poured tea for Coralie. They also gave snacks and sweets to Hendric, as if the mother

and son duo had been treated as such the entire time.

Coralie felt the difference in treatment but decided not to say anything regarding the matter.

When Lillian entered the room and everyone was seated, Skylar said, "I heard that Hendric went to the

Royal Pre-School recently, didn't he?"

"Yes, I was the one who suggested it. The grandson of the Holland family can't be worse than others."

Lillian spoke first without waiting for the others to speak.

"Only the children with the worst parents will go there. I don't think I'm the worst father, so there is no

need for Hendric to attend school there."

Skylar placed Hendric on his lap and looked at Lillian.

His words clearly showed his stance on the matter.

"What do you mean?" Lillian was very upset. "Was I wrong to let Hendric go there?"

She initially thought that Skylar would be in support of her decisions, but she didn't expect her son to

be helping outsiders.

"Yes, you were wrong."

Skylar said decisively.

Coralie looked at Skylar nervously. She didn't expect Skylar to say that Lillian was wrong.

Lillian's expression changed when she heard Skylar say that to her. "My son, have you been bewitched

by this woman? I'm doing everything for the sake of my grandson. Even Mrs. Andrews' grandsons

attend school there, so I'm sure that Hendric must go as well."

Now, she was certain that Skylar knew about Hendric's existence from the very beginning.

Furthermore, the moment Skylar and Coralie hugged each other from the start proved that their

relationship was extremely good.

This made Lillian extremely unhappy.

Now that Skylar's leg was healed, he was still a perfect man. Why should such a man marry Coralie?

"The reason why they sent their grandsons to the kindergarten is because there was no one willing to

take care of the kids. Now, Coralie is devoted to taking good care of Hendric. She is able to provide

Hendric with a good environment to grow up in. He doesn't need to go there."

Skylar explained to Lillian.

At the end of the day, Skylar was still Lillian's son. Although Lillian may have a lot of dissatisfaction, she

would not say anything about it.

Lillian could only cast her focus on Coralie. "Focus on taking care of Hendric? It's not that difficult to

take care of a child. Hendric is already old enough to know right from wrong. Does he still need you to

care for him? Please do not make it sound like you are doing something very noble!"

"Aunt Ford, it is very clear to me that you have never brought up a child." Coralie was furious when she

heard this. "Taking care of a child requires all of your attention and you can't afford to take your eyes off

even for a minute. Something will happen even in just ten seconds. Every child has their own difficulties

at each phase."

Coralie really did her best to help Hendric. When he was still a child, she had carried him on her back

while cooking. She was afraid that he would get choked by the smoke, so she dared not fry anything

and could only steam or boil their meals.

"All of these things could only be empathised by a mother who had raised her own child."

Upon hearing this, Lillian was immediately unhappy. She said, "Everyone brought up their own child. I

brought up my son too."

Skylar, who was listening at the side, said, "Mom, well leave Hendric with you for the next two days.

You will be taking care of him. Remember not to leave him unsupervised. If anything happens, you will

be at fault and well blame you."

"No way!"

When Coralie heard that Skylar was going to place Hendric at Lillian's home, she immediately

disagreed.

Skylar held her hand and said, "It will be fine."

"No, she can't take care of a child at all..." Coralie argued.

Someone like Lillian, who even forgot to pick up a child, what more could be expected of her to look

after Hendric? She was afraid that Lillian wouldn't even know that he had been taken away by

strangers if it happened.

Lillian heard that Coralie was so sure that she would not take care of children, so she patted her chest

and said, "If you let Hendric stay, there's nothing to be afraid of for such a big child. Let him stay with

me and I'll show you that I can take care of him." RêAd lat𝙚St chapters at Novel(D)ra/ma.Org Only

"Alright."

Skylar stayed calm and collected.

Hendric, upon hearing that Skylar wanted to place him in Lillian's place, immediately hugged Skylar's

arm and shook his head with all his might. "Dad, I don't want to leave you guys. I want to go home with

you."

Skylar patted Hendric's head. "First play with Grandma for a few days, and I will come to bring you

home two days later. When you return home, you won't have to go to that kindergarten anymore."

He spoke to Hendric with great patience, and even Lillian, who was standing beside him, looked at him

in surprise.

Her son had always had a cold demeanor. He didn't have any expression on his face when Valerie was

around. How could he be so close to Hendric?

Hendric listened to Skylar's words and weighed the pros and cons. After hesitating for a long time, he

finally nodded his head and said, "Alright, don't you lie to me, Dad. We're going to make a pinky

promise."

As he spoke, Hendric stretched out his little finger and hooked it with Skylar's.
