You Complete Me novel (Skylar and Coralie)

Chapter 323

Chapter 323

The kiss wasn't too passionate, and the two of them went from Skylar's wheelchair to their bed.

While they were kissing, Coralie only had time to speak when they stopped to catch their breaths.

"If you go to Skyton Corporation like that, I'm afraid that your employees..." Coralie expressed her

thoughts, but she was also worried that it would leave a burden on Skylar, so she added, "You don't

have to worry too much about me. As long as I can be with you, I don't care if you publicly announce it

or not."

It did not matter much to Coralie.

She believed that Skylar would be good to her whether or not he announced their relationship publicly.

"I want to announce it." Skylar was laying down as he held Coralie in his arms. "I want to announce that

you're my wife."

"I'll listen to you then," she said finally. Original content from NôvelDrama.Org.

Coralie was stunned for a moment. She didn't know what she had done to make Skylar so persistent

about this.

However, since Skylar had already said so, why would she oppose his idea then?

"When my leg gets better, I will..." Skylar was about to say something, but before he could finish his

sentence, he then stopped. "I'll tell you when the time comes."

He had been thinking about this matter for quite some time.

Every time he did his therapy, Skylar always thought to himself that when his legs were recovered, he

would then propose to Coralie, give her the grandest wedding, and take her to the most beautiful

islands. Not only to Maldives but also to Tahiti and Antarctica.

However, to do all these, his leg had to get better first.

"Okay."

Coralie had a rough idea of what Skylar was going to say to her.

But she didn't say it out either. As a woman, she was willing to quietly wait for the biggest surprise in

her life.

......

After the weekend, Skylar was with Coralie and Hendric.

Skylar went down the mountains to go home and change into his suit; Jayson accompanied him all the

way.

When he arrived at the company, he sat at his desk. Jayson pushed his wheelchair to the lounge and

said, "President Holland, I'm going to conduct the interview first."

"Okay, put on your earphones. I will ask you if I have any questions."

"Sure."

Jayson left after saying that.

This time, it was Skylar who had decided to recruit a professional manager to handle Skyton

Corporation on his behalf before he went abroad for his treatment.

The chosen candidate was going to play an important role in Skyton Corporation's development, so he

had to make a careful decision.

The interview was about to begin. Skylar could monitor the interview process through his computer

screens.

He viewed the resume of the three candidates who were there.

There were a total of three candidates who attended the interview. These three were all carefully

selected amongst the other professional managers found by the headhunter.

There was a woman amongst the three of them. Skylar was somewhat dissatisfied, as he had

specifically told Jayson that he only wanted to recruit males.

Out of the three people, the woman was the youngest; she was 36 years old, and the other two men

were in their early 40s.

The other two men's work experience was relatively complicated, but the woman's was very simple. In

addition to her previous job, she only worked as a professional manager in a company called Easton

Company in B City. She was in that position for six years, from when she was 30 to 36 years old.

Shortly, the interview began.

The interviewers were Jayson and Dominic, and Lorraine came along too.

After all, the person who passed the interview would become their superior in the future.

The first person who came in for the interview was a male manager.

Jayson asked the man to introduce himself, and he followed with some questions about the man's

professional background and experience.

During the entire process, Skylar was watching the interview in front of his computer. He felt that there

was nothing special about this person, and that the man was just satisfactory.

Being satisfactory was not too bad, as Skylar's expectations were rather high.

When the second male candidate came in for the interview, Jayson asked some similar questions.

His answers were very similar to the previous interviewee's. It could be seen that he had a lot of

experience, but he was a bit dull and lacked fresh ideas. Skylar didn't feel very satisfied with him either.

The third candidate to enter was the woman. She was wearing a pair of black high heels and a Chanel

mini skirt. Her chestnut-colored hair was tied up into a ponytail. She was well-dressed and she gave off

a mature and capable vibe. At the same time, she seemed very elegant.

As soon as she came in, she caught the attention of the interviewers.

"Hello, My name is Hazel Meyer, and I'm 36 years old."

When Hazel entered the room, she didn't sit down immediately. Instead, she smiled and introduced

herself to the three interviewers.

Only then did she sit down.

"Madam Meyer, we clearly stated that we were only hiring men. Why did you recommend yourself to

the headhunter regarding this position?

That was Jayson's first question for her.

When Jayson saw her resume, he disregarded her attempt instantly, but the headhunter persisted in

their recommendation of this candidate. Her resume was indeed outstanding, so he made an exception

and let her pass. He did not expect that she could make it into the last round.

"Skyton Corporation is an excellent company. I believe you will not give up on the most suitable person

just because of their gender."

She only sat perched on the edge of the chair, with her hands placed on her knees. Her back was

straight and it gave her an aura of confidence.

Her words were interesting, and she was brimming with self-confidence.

"Do you think you are the most suitable person for this job?"

"Yes, that's right."

Hazel nodded.

When she uttered those words, Lorraine and Dominic shook their heads, as if they were not too

pleased by her self-esteem.

Yet in the following session, Hazel performed very well. Her analysis of Skyton Corporation's current

situation and her perspective of the company's future development was more thorough and more

accurate than the previous male candidates.

At the very least, she was more prepared than the others, and her opinions were also very accurate.

At the end of the interview, the results were about to be announced.

Skylar uttered on the other side of the phone, "Ask her why did she suddenly decide to come to Skyton

Corporation after working for six years at the previous job. As far as I know, the last company offered

her a higher salary than Skyton Corporation."

This was something he pondered about.

Skylar reviewed some information and asked the headhunter about Hazel. The salary that Easton

Company offered her was much higher than average, and it was definitely higher than what Skyton

Corporation was offering.

Yet she decided to resign and come to Skyton Corporation. Her decision was quite baffling no matter

how he looked at it.

"Miss Meyer, your annual salary in your previous company is much higher than what Skyton

Corporation is offering. May I ask why you decided to resign from the company after working there for

six years and come to Skyton Corporation for this interview instead?"

Upon hearing this question, Hazel smiled and looked up in the direction of the camera as she greeted

and said, "Hello, President Holland. I'm very glad that you have noticed this little detail and that you

have come to ask me this question in person."

She was very confident, as if she could hear the voice coming from Jayson's earphones.

Hazel surprised Jayson with her unexpected actions.

After Skylar asked this question, he noticed that Hazel looked up in the direction of the camera. He

then zoomed in on the screen to see how she was going to answer this question.
