Chapter 55 A Gift

“You think she is well–behaved, do you?”

Braden flipped through the papers in his hand, saying with a faint smile, “You seem to have misjudged her

Liam swallowed and gathered himself to reply, “I don’t think there is a misunderstanding.

“Mrs. Stewart has indeed been dutiful all these years. Mr Stewart, she loved you wholeheartedly. She w as sensible and took good care of you. Moreover, she behaved well as your wife when socializing with others. Lots of people were envious of you for having her stay with you.
