Unconscious Husband: Meet Her Love In Silence

Chapter 1754

They reached the ground floor soon, where the sound of Adele’s cries echoed from a distance.

Both Holden and Ariana tensed up, hastening their steps.

They then found the toppled Adele next to a snowman.

Melon was nowhere in sight.

“Adele!” Ariana exclaimed, rushing to her daughter and enveloping her in a warm embrace.

Adele was sobbing uncontrollably, her hands and face reddened from the cold.

Ariana, heart aching at the sound, gently wiped away her tears and frantically checked for any injuries.

“Adele, where’s your brother?” Holden asked, squatting down and pretending to be calm.

His words, however, seemed to upset Adele deeply.

She burst into tears without replying to the question.

Before, Moss, Melon, and Adele had been standing by the snowman; now, only Adele was left, clearly indicating that Moss had taken Melon away.

Ariana, biting her lip, stood as she was holding Adele tightly.

She scanned the area for any sign of Moss and Melon, telling herself that Moss couldn’t have taken the child far in such a short time.

The snow sparkled underfoot.

Trying to hold back her tears, Ariana called out for Melon.

But even after her voice grew hoarse, there was still no answer.

A chill swept through Ariana, draining the color from her face.

The others all went downstairs as well.

Rodney, upon seeing the scene, realized what had happened and felt a surge of anger, his face darkening.

He muttered curses against Moss, his anger nearly making him pass out.

Mitchel and Catalina quickly went to his side, comforting him.

Moments later, Holden’s lead bodyguard approached, his head bowed.

“We’ve searched everywhere, but there’s no sign of them,” he said.

When Holden heard this, a chill flashed in his eyes.

His voice was frosty as he commanded, “Keep searching.

Seal all exits.

“Yes, sir!” the bodyguard replied.

“Melon…” Adele’s sobs continued, tears streaming down from her swollen, reddened eyes.

“There, there, Adele.

” Ariana was equally distressed but composed herself to soothe her daughter.

Through her own sobs, she assured, “Don’t worry.

Your father has people searching for Melon.

They will bring him back soon.

Meanwhile, Shawn approached Holden with a grave expression.

“Mr.

” Shawn handed Holden a phone, his voice low.

“It’s Moss calling.

Suddenly, all eyes turned to Holden.

With a frown, Holden accepted the phone and put the call on speaker.

A hushed silence fell over the crowd as everyone waited for the caller to speak.

Moss’s voice, eerie yet gleeful, broke the silence.
