Agatha POV

I’m currently at Starbucks right now facing my husband’s client Veronica. I don’t know what she needs from me as long as she just calls and I also don’t know where she got my number.

“Maybe you’re wondering why I called you to meet and where I got your number? I really forced Ethan to give it to me because I really want to talk to you in person because of what happened. I don’t want to be the reason why you and your husband will have a problem. You know he is an amazing businessman” she said.

“I’m sorry for what happened last time.” I replied.

She smiled at me. “I’m the one who should apologize to you for what happened, I can’t blame you for why you reacted like that and I’m also ashamed. Maybe your husband has already explained to you what really happened and why there are only two of  us in the restaurant that day. ”

I nodded at her. “He told me that there was an emergency.” I said.

“Yes, actually your husband wants to go home when I inform him that the two clients can’t come. I just stopped him since it was still early that timeI invited him to have lunch that time. That’s why I wanted also to talk to you so that I can also explain what you saw, and the fact that you we were talking about those times because I know that Ethan is married and I know how much he loves you so I’m sure that even if another woman tries to snatch him from you it won’t happen. “And one more thing, I don’t like married men because I don’t want to ruin a family, I don’t want to drag my family’s name in an issue or rumors, you know Ethan is well-known in the business world. Well, Ethan is really handsome and has a strong personality and he is successful in business so I won’t be surprised if many women like and chase  him  but I’m not part of those women. We really only have business and my lovelife is happy already because I already have a fiance. ” she added.

“That’s exactly what my husband told me so when you said if we could meet I didn’t hesitate to agree because I also really want to apologize to you for what I said at the restaurant that day. I’ve become close minded that time you know it’s hard to become Hernandez’s wife, I’m having physical insecurities. ” I confess to her.

“You shouldn’t think about anything negative. The important thing is you two and your love for each other. Other people can’t do anything if Ethan chooses and loves you. Based on your husband, he’s lucky with you because you love him, he is taken care of, because a person will not stay in our lives if we do not make them feel that they are special. It is obvious on your husband’s face that he loves you very much, even the way he looks at you I can see full of love. And don’t even think about the state of life you have because you also have your own abilities, you are a good architect Agatha so many people want to be your clients.”

“And I can’t accept those clients because of my husband as well.” I joke with her.

“You can’t blame your husband if he fences you. His  temperament and being hot -headed no one can stand him.”

I laughed because of what she said, after we talked we also separated immediately because her fiance had picked her up. Meanwhile, I decided to just go to my husband’s office.

And since I told my driver to not wait for me when he drove me here in Starbucks I had no choice but to commute. While I was looking for a taxi I noticed someone and I was not mistaken because I knew in myself that I knew him .

I noticed that he was walking away so I took a quick step to catch up with him and as soon as I was close to where he was I called him.

“L-luke?”

He stopped walking properly and looked at me. “A-agatha.” he said my name.

I even walked closer to him. “Finally I saw you.” I smiled.

“I need to go now, Agatha, nice to see you again.” he hurriedly promised.

I quickly grabbed his arm. “Wait Luke! Can we talk first?” I said.

“If it’s about what happened then Agatha, I know that in your eyes it’s all my fault.”

I shook my head. “It’s not like that brother.” I promise.

He did nothing but agree to talk to me. I went with him to the apartment where he lived.

“You have money, don’t you? Why don’t you go to a hotel?” I asked him.

“I know my brother is looking for me and another thing is I’m not staying here for long. It just happened that you saw me here because the manager I worked for sent me here for a few weeks.”

“Why don’t you go back home when you already know that your brother is looking for you? If you think he’s mad at you you’re wrong. He’s looking for you because he wants you to go back to your life.” I said.

“Because that thing isn’t that easy Agatha, after what happened to our family. I let my emotions dominate, I let anger and mourning over the death of our mommy eat me up.”

“But it’s not too late, is it? I know your parents will be happy when you get along with your brother.” I insist.

He smiled at me. “I’ll talk to him but not now so I hope you will not mention to him that we met.” he begs.

“Don’t worry because I won’t tell Ethan about this, I’ll let you approach him yourself.” I assure him.

“I heard the two are married? I can’t imagine that you two will still be together even though I know you didn’t get along before.”

I laughed because of what he said. “Even me I didn’t think we would be married. Since we all know that if your father and my mother didn’t die they will be marrying each other so me and Ethan will become siblings.” I said while laughing.

“You also can’t say what is destined but I’m happy because my brother met a woman he will love and love him also for the rest of life.”

We talked for a few more hours before I decided to go home. I was no longer able to go to my husband’s office which I should have planned because of the unexpected meeting Luke and I had.
