I woke up hearing two voices talking, though I didn’t say I knew who they were. Slowly I opened my eyes to confirm that they were both here.

When I was finally able to open my eyes, I saw pure white. Even if I don’t ask anymore, I know I’m in the hospital.

Later, I saw Zey looking at me.. “Best! Thank God you’re awake. How are you feeling? Does anything hurt? Do you want something to eat? ” she asked.

I ignored her questions. “What happened?”

I saw them looking at each other so I closed my eyes to reminisce about what happened before I went to the hospital. I remember my stomach suddenly hurting until I saw some blood.

“H-how’s my baby?” I asked the two of them.

But it looks like something bad happened based on their looks.

“You need to rest first because you need more strength.” ZEY SAID.

“I’m okay, all I want to know is my child’s condition!” my voice began to rise. I’m only asking one question but why do they seem so hard to answer?

“Best.”

“Agatha.”

They called me, I could not understand what was going on and even with suspicion I was reluctant to believe until there was no confirmation from them.

“I’m only asking about my child but why can’t you answer it?” My tears started to fall.

“Best, why didn’t you tell us about your pregnancy? If we only knew about your condition we should take good care of you. I’m sorry.” Zey whispered weakly.

Belle approached me and held my hand which made me even more nervous. “They did everything to save you both but your child can’t take it anymore. I’m sorry but the baby is gone.”

I almost fainted because of what I heard.

“No! This can’t be happening. I can’t lose my child! He’s the only one I have, he can’t leave me.” I started to lose my mind because my brain couldn’t handle what I found out.

Zey hugged me quickly while Belle went out to call the doctor. They quickly went inside where I was and I just felt that a nurse had injected me.

Zey POV

I just cried and cried because of my friend’s condition, it was good and she fell asleep again because of the medicine that the nurse injected into her.

“This is what I’m afraid of, Agatha’s reaction when she finds out what happened to her child.” my weak promise.

Belle immediately joined me. “We just need to show her that we are here and will be on her side.

“I hate Ethan but I hate Melissa most, it’s her fault why the relationship between the two went awry and even affected the naive child.” full of resentment that I said.

“Don’t worry because we both believe that Agatha didn’t really push her, Melissa was also my classmate and I know that she has a really bad attitude. And she also liked Ethan a lot when we were in college. So I won’t be surprised if she planned this, but she’ll also regret everything once Ethan finds out she lied and about what happened to Agatha and his unborn child. ”

While we were talking, the door suddenly opened and the doctor came in, because Agatha was already asleep because someone was just going to get the result.

“Doc. How’s my friend? Is she okay?” I asked.

“Based on her reaction earlier, it will be really difficult for her to accept what happened to her child which is normal for mothers whose children die but I still can’t say if this will only affect her.”

“What do you mean doc.?” I asked because I could not understand what he wanted to convey to us.

“I’ll be honest with you ladies, it’s not easy for a mother who has lost a child to move on, especially if it’s their first baby. Sometimes they will suffer from depression and worst of all, they can go insane when they lose their emotions and can’t accept the loss of their baby, mostly in this case it is what they imprint in their minds that their child is still alive. All you have to do is stay by her side all the time, make her feel that she is not alone and above all please have a long patience. ” the doctor explained.

I almost fainted from what I heard and just sat down, while Belle just talked to the doctor because I didn’t know if I could handle what he had to say.

Even though I’m not in Agatha’s position it hurts me to see her struggling and hurting because I know in myself she doesn’t deserve to experience this, she’s not a bad person to go through this thing.

She just wants to have a happy and complete family with the person she loves but why does she have to experience this?

I consider her almost a sister so I know how much pain she is feeling now and since the doctor just said that things are likely to happen to her in the next few days, I don’t know if I will be able to see her in that condition.

I want to go to Ethan and punch him for what he did to my best friend. I want to blame him for what is happening right now but I can’t leave Agatha now because I know she needs us more.
