Trapped In The Arms Of The Billionaire

Ethan POV

I had just entered the house and I immediately found out that they were Agatha and Melissa. I didn’t know she could do that to my friend. I thought they were both fine already.

“Are you hurt Mel?” I asked my friend as we headed to the hospital.

“My  hips and my legs Ethan, I’m sorry if I ruined your plan with Agatha but I didn’t know your girlfriend would do this to me.” Melissa said while crying.

“I’m sorry for what Agatha did to you.” I said.

I don’t want to shout and leave Agatha but I also can’t just leave Melissa alone even though she is the reason why it fell. I just can’t quite figure out why my own girlfriend did that. When did she learn to hurt other people?

When we arrived at the hospital, the doctor treated Melissa immediately, it looked like she was badly hurt.

I waited a few more minutes and the doctor came out, he told me that Melissa’s hips and legs were fractured so she had to be confined. The doctor didn’t take long and came back inside to conduct some more tests on my friend.

I also called Gian to let him know what happened. He will be here any minute with Belle.

I first sat in the vacant seat because of the stress I was feeling. As I bent down I heard Agatha’s voice.

“Ethan.” she weakly called me.

I stood up to face her. “What are you doing here?” I asked her.

“I just want to know how she is.”

“Really Agatha? After you push her down the stairs you will ask how is she? She’s probably not okay and that’s because of you! ” I could no longer control my anger.

I saw her shook her head many times. “I didn’t push her, I will never do that to her. Believe me Ethan.”

“How can I believe in you? I know you hate her so there is a tendency that you can do that to her, that you can hurt her when I am not in the house. I didn’t know you would end up like this Agatha, that you could hurt other people just because of your selfishness! ” I said seriously.

“Am I selfish? In what way Ethan? I’m just being selfish with you because I don’t want to lose you but I’m not that kind of person to hurt others. ” I saw her tears dripping but I restrained myself from hugging her.

“You already did, right? Because if not,  Melissa wasn’t here, she wouldn’t have fractured!” I shouted at her.

“It’s better if you just leave now and go home.” I added.

“Ethan, I have something important to tell you.” she insisted.

“I’m not ready to listen to whatever you want to say now even if it is important. So please go home.”

I would have turned my back on her when she stopped me by pulling my arm and because of that I didn’t mean to push her.

I could see the shock and pain on her face. “Ethan.” she said softly.

“Are you that mad at me that you can push me like that? Is Melissa more important to you for not listening to what I wanted to say? Why when she speaks do you believe immediately  but when it comes to me you can’t? ” full of resentment,’ she promised.

“Why don’t you listen to me? I told you to go home now! ” I shouted.

“Ethan!”

“Agatha!”

I heard Belle and Gian calling our names, I didn’t realize they had arrived.

They quickly approached Agatha who was crying and helped her to her feet.

“What are you doing Ethan? It’s not because you’re angry you have the right to hurt Agatha. ” Belle angrily said.

“And she also has no right to hurt other people.” my defense.

“That’s not a reason for you to hurt her either. Agatha is a woman and she is your girlfriend! ” Gian said. I can see in his eyes that he is disappointed in what I have done.

“Let’s go Agatha, you don’t have to beg him to listen to you because we know his close minded when he is mad, his anger is more dominant.” Belle said and pulled Agatha to leave.

I didn’t want to push her, I was also shocked at what I had done.

Gian sat next to me. “Control your temper Ethan, you might forget who the woman you pushed is.” he seriously said.

“I didn’t want to do that to her, I just didn’t know why she had to push Melissa and my own two eyes saw it.” I defended myself.

“But we don’t know the truth yet, don’t conclude first.”

“Mel told me everything that happened, she just wanted to talk to Agatha but she pushed her.” I said.

“Mel already told you what happened but have you heard Agatha’s side?”

I was silent for a moment because of what Gian said but no matter what Agatha will say I knew it was her fault because she was angry with Mel.

“She will just lie and say that she did nothing even though I already saw what happened.” I promise.

“You’re the only one who can answer that because you know Agatha better, I hope you don’t regret it later.” he sighed and stood up.

Later, the doctor came out and told us that they would move Melissa to a private room so we went there immediately. There are sales where her legs and neck have also supported her waist.

I greeted her and asked if she was okay. She told me that she was having a hard time moving so I promised that I would take care of her first as compensation for what my girlfriend did. When I looked at Gian, he just shook his head at me as if he didn’t like my decision.
