Agatha POV

It’s been a week since Ethan and I got along, even though I know if he still hasn’t forgiven me, it’s okay to see if he’s back to normal. I can often see his true smile.

We are now eating lunch together at a restaurant, because he went to the office while I went to Marcus’ company because I was taking care of something there.

“Baby, when was your friend coming home again?” I asked him while we were eating, because he mentioned that they had a friend  who was going to stay at the house first because she is on her vacation.

“I’m not sure about the baby, but all I know is one of these days she will be here already.”  he answered me.

I nodded at his answer. When he told me about that, there was no problem because it’s their friends from college and they also couldn’t go to Gian’s house because his relatives were there. I also understand if their friend is not comfortable staying in a hotel.

“Are you sure it’s okay with you? I mean you can say it to me if you are not comfortable that she will stay in the house.” he asked me.

“It’s okay with me, she’s just on her vacation here and another thing is I can have someone at home that I could talk to, so I would not be bored there since you don’t want me to work full time in Montreal.” I said.

“I already told you that you don’t need to work or if you want you can work in the company but you said that you still have a contract to Montreal.”

I raised an eyebrow at him. “We’ve already talked about that, I don’t want to work in Hernandez.” I said.

“You don’t want to work with me but you want to work with Marcus?”

I just laughed because of what he said.

“Don’t make fun of me Agatha, I’m serious here,” he said, annoyed.

“I just can’t help it, look at your face baby. I’ve told you many times that you don’t have to be jealous of Marcus because he is only my boss and my friend.” I said.

“And it’s obvious that he likes you.”

“You know I’m gorgeous that’s why there are men over times who has a crush on me. But Marcus and I are just friends. Okay?” I promise.

While we were in the middle of the meal, Ethan’s phone rang and he answered immediately, it looks like Gian called him.

“We’re eating our lunch now, we’ll fetch her when we’re done here.” heard Ethan’s promise. They talk for a few more minutes before the call is dropped.

Ethan looked at me. “Why?” I asked him.

“Is it okay baby that we go straight to the airport after lunch?”

“Yes sure, no problem. Why? ” I asked.

“Melissa has arrived, Gian can’t pick her up because he has a meeting so he asked me if I’m available today.”

“No problem baby.” smiling, I replied.

He smiled back at me and we continued eating so we could leave and go to the airport.

It also took us about an hour to get to the airport. When we entered, we immediately looked for their friend because she was already here.

“Ethan!” we heard a voice.

We turned to the side and saw the smiling woman approaching the seat where we were.

When he got close to us he kissed Ethan on the cheek and she smiled at me so I smiled back at her.

“Where is Gian? I thought he would be the one to fetch me. ” the woman asked.

“He has a meeting today so he can’t pick you up, he called me.” Ethan replied.

“I see.” the woman replied.

“Anyway Melissa, this is Agatha, my girlfriend and soon to be wife.” Ethan introduced me to her.

I blushed because of what he said, this man really is even when he is very demented.

I saw the disappearance of smiles on the woman’s lips. Why did I feel she was disappointed to know about me and who I am in Ethan’s life?

“Hi Agatha, nice to meet you. I’m Melissa. You are the lucky one who made my friend’s heart beat. ” she said while smiling.

I just nodded and smiled at her, I don’t know but I seem to feel differently about this woman or maybe I’m just wrong. I don’t want to be judgmental because I don’t know Melissa very well.

While we were on the way back home, Melissa didn’t do anything but tell us about their moments when they were still in college, that wasn’t a problem for me because they also didn’t see each other for a long time.

“You know Agatha, I really thought that Ethan is already interested in women. As far as I know she doesn’t want to be with any woman.” Melissad said.

“You know my reason.” Ethan replied.

“Yeah, that you are in love with a certain woman who left you behind.” Melissa laughed.

“By the way, Agatha, when did you become Ethan’s girlfriend?” she turned to me.

I would have answered when Ethan got ahead of me. “We’ve been together for a long time Mel, even if we haven’t met yet”

I saw the masculinity of Melissa’s eyes. “What? How come? Is that true Agatha? ” she asks.

I laughed at her reaction and nodded in confirmation of what Ethan had said. ” Ethan and I have known each other for a long time, we were still in high school at that time. ” I answered.

“You mean -”

Melissa didn’t finish what Ethan had to say. “Yes Mel, she’s the woman I’ve loved for a long time.”

She quickly slapped Ethan on the shoulder. “You jerk! Why didn’t you tell me, what am I talking about and the woman I’m referring to is here, it’s embarrassing! ” she burst out.

“I’ve been stopping you earlier but you don’t want to listen.” Ethan laughed.

“Agatha I’m sorry for what I said I didn’t mean it. You know Ethan is so dramatic back then, I didn’t know that you were the woman he loved from the beginning. ”

“It’s okay Mel, you don’t need to apologize for it. ” smiling,” I replied.
