The Woman From Hell

Chapter 2648

There was a smile frozen at the corner of his lips as he looked at Nibel. Was Theo's request too much?

Nibel replied slowly after a moment, "I understand what you mean, President Grant. But it's not that easy to get the EUR to work with the factory since they're not at the same level."

Theo seemed to have expected Nibel's answer. Smiling lightly, he responded calmly, "Golden-O is a major success. The EUR alone can't increase production. If you want to increase sales further, this is the only way."

He exerted an imposing aura by shoving his hands into his pockets. Leaning against the corner of the table, Theo met Nibel's gaze confidently. "Golden-O is a product of Grant Corporation to begin with. It just relies on the EUR team's high-quality technology. It won't be a loss to you, and as far as I know, the EUR is already thinking of this.

Taking in Theo's words, a small smile gradually made its way to Nibel's face. Yet, his gaze was wary. "How do you know that they are, President Grant?"

"It's no secret I've talked to the head of the EUR, Ronnie, about this long before Golden-O hit the market. He made it clear that if sales skyrocketed in the later stage and production can't keep up, he'll be very willing to work with the factory." Theo talked to the person in charge of the EUR? When did this happen? How did I not know about it?

When I thought about it, the most recent social meeting that Theo had attended was the day when Shannon got drunk. It was no wonder then that he could not answer the phone that day. As it turned out, he had been meeting someone from the EUR. How cunning of him to have already anticipated this day. If this was the case, it would be difficult for Nibel to disagree.

"You seem to have violated our contract by doing this, President Grant."

Nibel was displeased. The situation did not look good.

Theo, however, was as calm as usual. "I might have spoken with Ronnie, but we didn't reach a partnership. I respect the contract. That's why I only brought this up to you today, Mr. Nibel. I'm also aware that you're worried about losing your biggest advantage like this, but you should also be able to sense our sincerity. We don't do messy deals. You don't have to worry, Mr. Nibel. Our next partnership will be as pleasant."

Everything he said was on point.

Others would be able to feel his sincerity, I wondered what Nibet

agreement, then I have nothing else to say. Let's decide on this, then."

"I admire your ability to work despite the unfavorable conditions."

He was agreeing so easily?

I found it a little hard to believe, but that seemed to be the actual case.

"Golden-O is being received well. It's also a victory for Pristine. I'll hold a celebration party in two days. Do remember to attend, President Grant, President Lane."

"Alright. I'll bring Wanda with me."

"I'll leave the rest to you too. I still have some business to attend to, so I won't bother you anymore."

"Keith, please send Mr. Nibel downstairs."

Theo instructed Keith and he led Nibel out of the office.

After Nibel left, I went up to Theo. "I didn't think Nibel would agree so quickly. I thought we'd be inviting a fight."

"He's a smart man. He knows what's beneficial. He wouldn't refuse us."

Sometimes, I really admired Theo. He seemed to be in control of every step he took. I smiled lightly. "As long as everything goes well."
