The Triplets' Fighter Luna

Chapter 170

CHAPTER

068

When I got back to the castle that afternoon after spending the day talking with a lot of people that had come and helped search for me.

I learnt that people had come as far as Louisiana to help look for me.

I was surprised that I meant so much to werewolves. I mean, mom was really worried how

they were going to react when she took over instead of the council still being in charge of everything.

But I guess this answered any questions or doubts that we had about the situation.

As soon as I got back to the castle, I looked around for a bit before I found Tyler in the office.

"Hey sweetie. Are you alright?" He asked.

"Yeah. Have you seen Noah? I haven't seen him all day." I said.

"No. I don't know where he is. It's not like him to just disappear like that. Especially not now your back." He said.

"That's what I thought. But I can't find him anywhere."

"I'm sure he'll turn up. He's probably wandering around still being the head of security." Tyler

said.

"Yeah. You guys need to find someone else to fill that position." I said and he started laughing.

"Don't worry. We've already started looking. We don't expect him to be your mate and your head of security. That's a little insane." He said and I scoffed. "Yeah. Just a little."

When I left the office I walked around a bit longer looking for him but when I couldn't find him I

went out to my courtyard and I sat next to the brick wall, looking out at the ocean past the canal.

I forgot how much I loved to sit out here and watch the ocean. It was peaceful and relaxing and it helped take away some of the tension that I was feeling.

"I knew I'd find you out here." Mom said from the doorway.

"Yeah. I wanted to come and get reacquainted with my courtyard." I said.

"Well, I won't keep you. I just have to give you something. I think you lost this somewhere

along your travels." She said, holding out the dragonite necklace.

I quickly took it off her and stared at it in shock before I looked up at her.

"You found it?"

"The warriors found it. It was in the forest near the cabin where Xavier took you to."

"I never even realized it came off my neck." I said.

"I didn't think so. You were too busy running for your life. You've got it back now and it's all

yours." She said.

"Are you sure? I mean, you really want me to have this?"

"I wouldn't have left it here if I didn't." She said.

So I put the necklace back on and instantly, all the dragons in the area, the ones around the castle, let out a loud roar as they knew that I had reclaimed the dragonite and they started flying around the castle, almost like they were celebrating. "I haven't seen them do that before." I said.

"They're accepting you as their ruler. It's an honor." Mom said.

"Thank you." I said.

"You don't need to thank me. You earned it. I'll leave you alone now." She said, turning around

and going back into the house.

I sat back down on the chair watching the dragons fly around the castle, almost in a circular motion.

It was beautiful to see and they were the most gorgeous creatures I had ever seen in

And probably the most gorgeous creatures I will ever see. They are definitely unique. my life.

I could hear a few screams from the people in the field. They weren't used to having dragons

flying around, but I could hear my dads running outside to calm them down.

I just stood there on the courtyard watching them as Zidrith led the pack of them.

TWO DAYS LATER

I walked out of my room early in the morning and I started walking from room to room of the castle. The third floor and then the second floor and then the bottom floor. And that was the entire castle. Even the sections that we never used. I hadn't seen Noah in a couple of days and I was starting to get really worried. I'd called his phone a lot but it kept going straight to voicemail, which made no sense to me. Why would he

turn his phone off?

He had to know that I was worried about him and I searched the whole castle before Lucas

found me walking back towards the main area of the house that we used.

"Hey. What's going on?" He asked.

"I can't find Noah. I haven't seen him for days. Where the hell could he be? He wouldn't just disappear on me like that. No matter how pissed he was to hear about Walker." I said frantically.

Lucas placed his hands on my arms to try and get me to calm down, but it was going to take

a lot more than that.

"Noah knows how to take care of himself. I'm sure that he's fine." Lucas said.

"Why the hell isn't anyone taking this seriously? Did everyone think it was a joke when I went

missing? No. Hundreds of people came here to look for me and they've only just left this morning. Why isn't anyone looking for Noah?" I asked.

"Emma." Dean sang out to me from the front door.

"What?" I asked. And he pointed out the front door.

I walked over to him and I saw Noah walking across the field, coming back from the forest.

I was only wearing a shirt and shorts and no shoes, but I didn't care.

I ran outside and down the stairs in the snow, across the field until I caught up to him.

I slapped him across the face before I grabbed him and pulled him to me and hugged him as tight as I could.

"What the hell is wrong with you? I was worried sick." I said. This content © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.

"I know. I'm sorry. I told them not to tell you where I was. There was just something that I had

to do." He said.

"What? What the hell was so important that you couldn't tell me about it? At least when I went missing, it wasn't by choice." I yelled.

"Will you please calm down?" He asked.

"No. I won't calm down. That was a real diskish move, do you know that?" I yelled.

Instead of arguing with me any longer, he stepped to the side and gestured to something

behind him.

I turned to look towards the forest and I saw Walker coming out of the treeline with a bag slung over his shoulder.

"I don't understand. He couldn't leave his pack." I said.

"They'll be here tomorrow. They voted on it. They've all decided to rejoin society. They're doing it for their Alpha." Noah said. I looked at him strangely and he had a strange smile on his face.

But he put his hand on my back and pushed me in Walker's direction.

So I started running across the field until I reached Walker.

Walker dropped his bag on the ground and caught me as I leapt into his arms.

He kissed me as soon as he could and I kissed him back before he buried his head into the

crook of my neck.

He finally put me down and I stood there staring at him.

"You said that you weren't going to leave your pack." I said.

"They saw how miserable I was without you. So, they agreed to come here with me. They're going to give civilization a chance. If they don't like it then I agreed to help them set up away from your pack. So they can keep living the way that they were. But they will be nearby." He

explained. Causing me to hug him again.

He just uprooted his whole life, his pack, everything they knew and their whole way of life for

"I can't believe you would do this."

"Well, if they didn't want to come then I was going to assign someone else as Alpha. I knew that I couldn't stay there without you. And then Noah showed up and told me that he was there to bring me here. I knew that was a sign that I couldn't ignore." He said. So I turned back at Noah and he had walked closer to us so I pulled him closer and I hugged him as well.

"You could have at least told me that you were leaving for a few days."

"It wouldn't be a surprise then." He said.

"You could have lied about where you were going." I said, but he scoffed.

"Yeah right. No one can lie to you. You see through it every time." He said.

Lucas then got to where we were standing in the field and stopped right next to us.

"Walker. I'm Lucas." He said, extending his hand.

"It's nice to meet you too." Walker said, shaking his hand.

"So, is this easy enough for you?" Lucas asked.

"It's definitely easier than it was a couple days ago." I said.

"Come on. Your parents are waiting." Noah said.

"So?" I asked.

"They are gonna want to meet their new house guest." Noah said. So I threw my head back.

and relented as I turned around to head back to the castle.
