Chapter 938 Calm Down, Serena
Chapter 938 Calm Down, Serena
In a desperate attempt to prove his innocence, Kingsley accidentally revealed kissing with Reene. Although he quickly stopped himself, Serena still heard it loud and clear.
"You what?!" She turned her gaze to Reene in shock. "Reene, you and Kingsley… You two…"
Reene blushed, and her breathing quickened. The thin nightgown she was wearing danced subtly along with her breathing.
After a while, she took a deep breath and nodded. "Yes, we did share a kiss, but that's all."
"See! I've only kissed Reene once," said Kingsley frankly, spreading his hands open. "Cecilia, Paige, and Cameron have nothing to do with me!"
Serena's cheeks warmed up inexplicably at the thought that Kingsley and Reene might have shared a passionate kiss in the past in this house, and she subconsciously licked her lips. After calming down, she retorted, "Still… that doesn't prove that you're not seeing other women!" Content from NôvelDr(a)ma.Org.
At that, she pointed at his cheek. "If you don't have any other women as you claimed, how do you explain the lipstick mark on your cheek?!"
"I… I met up with Yulia earlier today," Kingsley had no choice but to answer truthfully. "She said… my first kiss on the cheek is now hers…"
"Yulia?!" Reene and Serena exclaimed simultaneously.
Then, a notion seemed to have formed in Reene's mind as she said, "I've got it. You did it to settle Yulia's scandal, didn't you?"
"Yeah." Kingsley nodded. "Once Yulia's name is clear, she can endorse Neveah's newly established luxury brand."
At that, Reene pursed her lips. "Since Yulia was the one who left it, I won't pursue the matter anymore. Alright, it's getting late. I'm going to bed."
Though Reene had regained her assertive female CEO demeanor, she was still a woman at heart. She felt mortified letting Serena find out about her kiss with Kingsley. Thus, after knowing that her little brother hadn't had any romantic affairs with other women, she quickly found an excuse to retreat to her bedroom.
After Reene left, Serena, with a mischievous smile, looked at Kingsley and said slowly, "Kingsley, your first kiss on the lips went to Reene, and the first kiss on your cheek went to Yulia. If I don't seize my chances soon, there won't be many places left for me…"
Kingsley broke into a cold sweat. "Serena… what do you want?"
"What do I want?" Serena inched closer and traced Kingsley's face lightly with her finger, whispering, "I want to claim a 'first time' too, of course. You know, as assassins, we value the first kill the most."
Kingsley gulped, feeling the hair on the back of his neck standing.
"H-Hold on, Serena, calm down." he took a step back. "You're not thinking of using a knife on me, are you?"
"Of course not." Serena smirked, grabbing Kingsley's collar. "Come, let's go to my room."
With that, she led Kingsley upstairs.
"Serena…" Kingsley, being pulled by Serena, followed along reluctantly. While it would have been easy for him to break free, for some inexplicable reason, he allowed Serena to lead him to her room.
Kingsley's feelings toward his seven sisters were almost indistinguishable. Setting aside their deep friendship, from a man's perspective, Kingsley couldn't resist Serena's allure. In this world, perhaps no one could resist the temptation of this 'enchantress.'
Bam!
After slamming the bedroom door shut, the femme fatale pinned Kingsley against the wall and sized him up sensuously while whispering, "Tell me, Kingsley. Which part of you should I possess?"
