Judith’s POV

The fact that I’m head over heels for Nathan can’t be disputed anymore. I truly love him, and since he confessed his feelings, I might as well give the relationship a chance. He does seem to like the kids too as he kept showering them with gifts. That is the kind of man I want, a man who will love my kids just as much as he loves me.

It has been three weeks of dating Nathan, dating him may not be easy, as the rumor about us already spread like wildfire throughout the hospital, making me be the center of gossip amongst the employees.

Some approved the relationship, saying I was lucky to be dating a perfect billionaire who is every woman’s dream. While others tagged me a gold digger and a seductress, accusing me seducing and cornering him for myself.

“Their approval or rejection doesn’t really mean anything to me, I’m done trying to please the world. I’m only going to care about myself now. I deserve some happiness too”, I thought as I drove through the traffic, heading to work after dropping the kids off at school.

Being with Nathan makes me happy and fulfilled, I’m going to be really shameless about dating my boss if it means me and my kids being happy.

I parked at the garage and walked into the ground floor. Silence enveloped the area as I walked in. I felt uncomfortable, but I kept walking anyway. I could hears whispers, all I did was just to increase my pace. I was about walking into the elevator, when I heard two ladies talking about me.

“Look at her, gold digger”, one lady snorted.

I wanted to ignore them, just as I have been doing, but I have had enough, I’m human too. I have feelings and emotions. “yes, I’m something special, and I’m not a gold digger, I’m a gold getter instead”, I turned back and then went into the elevator.

I walked into my office and I saw a flower bouquet, a note and a parcel on the table. I knew it was from Nathan. I opened the letter and it read, “Your love makes me whole again. Your love add values and meaning to my life. Thanks for loving me babe”. I blushed as I read the letter. “He is so sweet”, I said as I smelled the flowers and unboxed the parcel. It was a beautiful long red silk gown, looking so expensive and classy. It must have cost thousands of Euros. “He has eyes for good things”, I muttered happily.

I made his favorite -Latte coffee and headed into his office. “Good morning sir”, I said, giving him my killer smile. “Your coffee is here sir”, I placed the coffee on the table.

“I told you to stop being so formal with me, “he said, and moving closer and grabbing me by the waist, placing a light kiss on my lips.

“You are still my boss, so I should give you maximum respect”, I declared.

“I told you to stop working. I can open a boutique or restaurant for you if you want”, he said still holding my waist.

“I don’t want that. People are already calling me a gold digger, I just want a peaceful life for myself”, I said, I touching his curly hair.

“I told you to stop caring about what people say”, he said, releasing my waist and sitting down.

“Thank you for the gift and the note. That was so sweet of you”.

“You deserve much more, my love. I wish you’d give me the chance to show you how much I love you”.

“I know you love me baby. There’s nothing more to prove”, I said, taking his hands and kissing it.

“Tell the twins we are going to the amusement park this weekend”.

“Really” I shouted excitedly. “They have always wanted to go there but I have been busy. Thanks so much, Nathan. I love you baby” I said, giving him a kiss.

“Please, send the pharmaceutical company proposal. Let me see if they’ve got a good deal”, he, throwing affectionate looks at me

“Okay, sir” I said, switching to a formal tone of which he just shook his head and smiled at me, as I dashed out.

Dating Nathan has been nothing short of happiness. He always goes all out for me and the kids. Since he came into our lives, he has been showering us with love, care, attention and gifts. He has even offered to pick up some bills, which I declined. I don’t want to take advantage of him. The relationship feels so surreal.

The rest of the day went well, following the usual routine, constantly stealing and throwing affectionate glances at each other.

“Oliver, get down from there! You are going to injure yourself”, I screamed while trying to caution him from leaping on the wall. “I told you to stop playing roughly. I’m going to stop you from watching cartoons”, I said angrily.

“Sorry mommy, I’m going to stop playing rough”, he said as he got down and pouted.

“I miss Mr. Nathan”, Olivia said, sighing and making a sad face. “When is he coming to see us again?.

“I forgot to tell you guys”, I said, smiling” He is taking you two to the amusement park this weekend”, I declared happily.

“Yes!” they chorused while jumping happily on the sofa.

The kids seems to be happier since Nathan came into our lives. He takes them to all the amazing and fun places they had always wanted to go but I’m either too preoccupied to or I don’t have the money.

We were having fun and talking about random things when I heard a beep on the door. “Who could that be? Maybe its Nathan trying to give us a surprise visit”, I thought as I happily stood up to unlock the door.

“Mommy, I think Mr. Nathan is here”, Olivia giggled happily.

I walked to the door and unlocked it, when I saw someone I would never have expected to see in a thousand years. He stood there smiling at me like he had just won a lottery. I was shocked and perplexed, unable to talk or move.

“Hi, Judith. Can I come in?”
