The Rejected Luna: Daddy, Where is Mommy?

34

Next day!!!

“Awww!! Thank you, thank you, thank you so much, Rose.” Reva thanked Roselet, giving her a twirl. “You’re the best.” Hearing it, Roselet giggled. “I knew you would convince Zordan to stay here a day here more. From now onwards, I will ask your help every time Zordan won’t listen to me.” She added.

“But I don’t think that will always work,” Roselet replied with a smile.

“Still, what could go wrong in trying?” Reva asked, winking at her.

“I heard that,” Zordan said.

“Okay, now let me go. You both enjoy your time together.” Roselet said to go near Ethlyn.

“Where do you want to go?” Zordan asked.

“To mommy’s home.” She replied and was quick to correct her answer when Reva’s eyes widened. “Her mommy’s home.” She added, pointing toward her finger Reva.

“But dear, Mom and dad are busy decorating the home along with other people. What will you do after going there? They’re no fun.” Reva said with a chuckle.

“Ethlyn?” Roselet asked about her mommy.

“She… she is at the cemetery as usual,” Reva replied.

“But that area is dangerous. Lemi, let’s go.” Roselet said in concern and quickly ran from there. Reva looked at her in surprise for a while before speaking.

“I don’t understand why she is running after a lady who was rude to her yesterday.” Saying this, Reva looked at Zordan. “I know Rose is your niece, but my wolf feels a kind of bond with her as if she is closely related to me.”

“She is so sweet that any wolf falls in love with her,” Zordan said with a small smile, not revealing the fact that Rose was her niece by blood. It wasn’t that he wanted to hide anything from her, but it was her family that had hidden such big news from both sisters.

“Why are you here again?” Ethlyn asked Roselet when she disturbed her ALONE space. She couldn’t understand why this pup was so nosy.

“Why are you always so rude?” Roselet said, ignoring her glare, and sat beside her brother’s grave.

“Because I don’t like nosy people.”

Roselet stayed quiet before speaking, “It hurts when you speak to me like that. But never mind, my uncle is also rude, but I know he loves me a lot.” She said, thinking about Colton.

“I’m here to meet my big brother,” Roselet replied to the previous question of Ethlyn. They both stayed quiet for a while. Ethlyn didn’t stop her from calling Christian as her big brother. “How’re you, brother? Oh, you’re fine. I’m good too. Thank you for asking.”Text content © NôvelDrama.Org.

Roselet talked with her brother as if he was talking with her from the other side. “Are you having fun with Moon Goddess by staying near her?”

“What? No, you’re not happy!! But why?”

“Oh, because mommy keeps crying for you, and you feel bad seeing her in tears,” Roselet spoke, on which Ethlyn started crying again.

“Oh, you have a job for me. And what is that?”

“I have to keep mommy happy and bring a smile to her face all the time.” Roselet kept speaking.

“Do you think this is funny?” Ethlyn questioned her.

“Momm…”

“I’m not your damn mommy,” Ethlyn growled at her angrily, scaring her, because of which Roselet moved away from her in fear. “Leave; I don’t want you anywhere near me. You’re pissing me off, pup. I want to stay alone with my son, not you. So, GOOOOO.”

It took a few minutes for Roselet to overcome her fear. “I won’t go. Do whatever you want.” She said stubbornly.

“What the…” Ethlyn fumed in anger.

“What the…” Roselet mimicked her. Ethlyn looked around in search of the wolf that brought Roselet, but he was nowhere around. In that way, she couldn’t even send Roselet from there. “Searching for someone?” Roselet asked. “Sadly, no one is here except us, Mommy.” She added with a smirk.

“Don’t call me that.”

“Call you what? Mommmmmmyyyyyy?” The more Ethlyn stopped her; the more Roselet teased her.

“Moon Goddess!! I thought you were a well-behaved pup.”

“That I’m,” Roselet said, bowing her head and pointing her hand toward herself. “But that is for good people.” Ethlyn’s eyes widened at her words. “And by spending time with you, I realized that you don’t deserve my good side.”

“What?”

“Yes. The truth won’t change that you’re my mommy no matter how rude you behave, but if you can’t behave well with me, then TIT for TAT.” Roselet said, and Ethlyn looked at her in disbelief. Roselet hugged her. “I’m sorry in advance, Mommy. I just want to spend some time with you, but you’re pushing me and acting like a rude mother. But how is it possible that you love my brother so much and don’t like me? Huh?”

“Or you will also love me only when I’m gone like Christian?” She asked, breaking the hug.

“Shut up.!!” Ethlyn scolded. “Don’t speak nonsense. Let me take you to the guest house.” She said and started standing on her feet, but Roselet quickly sat in her lap.

“I want to spend some time with you. I don’t want to go anywhere else. Just you, me, and my big brother.” She said.

“Rose..”

“Mommmmyyyy, pleassseeee!!! I promise I won’t disturb you and stay here silently.” Ethlyn sighed and made her sit in her lap properly.
