Chapter 339

Sophia fiercely rushed over in an attempt to hit Paige. However, Paige kicked her first before she could even make contact.

Paige had always been a gentle girl, so Sophia was caught off guard as she didn't expect this fierceness from her.

Sophia was a little weak after being tormented by Charles for so long, in addition to the time she spent locked up in the police station. On the other hand, Paige had a good night's sleep so she was well- rested and energizes.

The hard kick sent Sophia's body flying to the ground.

Paige did not stop there as she realized her violent potential. She went up and kicked her a few more times as she scolded, "How dare you scold me? I'm going to kick you to death, you shameless b*stard!"

Liam, who was lying on the hospital bed with his hand plastered, and Isabella, who was standing next to Paige, was stunned by her sudden outburst.

It took Isabella a while before she realized what was happening, "Help! Someone's getting beaten up!"

Isabella shouted and rushed towards Paige after seeing her daughter getting beaten up.

She was about to fight back when the ward door was kicked open, and a man in black stood outside with a murderous look.

He pointed at Isabella before speaking in a gloomy and harsh tone, "Don't you dare touch Miss Anderson!"

Isabella stiffly withdrew her hand that was reaching out for Paige.

She had bodyguards with her?

Paige kicked Sophia a few more times before stopping.

Paige felt alive as she had never beaten someone up so joyfully before. She looked around the ward, and when she made eye contact with Isabella and Liam, they looked away unnaturally.

Looking at their guilty faces, Paige sneered and said, "Why aren't you talking anymore? Weren't you chatting very happily before this? Why don't you continue?"

"Paige, why didn't you answer your phone? I've called you so many times. I thought something had happened to you.”

The muscles on Liam's face twitched a few times as he spat out a concerning sentence when he noticed the fierce man at the door.

"What do you mean, dad? Are you hoping that something had happened to me?' Paige looked at him with a mocking expression.

"No, how can I hope for something to happen to you? I'm just worried about you! I heard that something had happened in the Halcyon Hotel, so I kept calling you. Paige, where have you been?" It

was no wonder that Liam could manage the company for so many years, he was a cunning man.

It was clear that Paige had seen through Kyrie and Sophia's plan, so she plotted against Sophia as a counterattack.

Paige was most probably the one behind what had happened between Charles and Sophia, but he didn't know how much she knew about what happened last night.

Before he knew Paige's understanding of the situation, the only thing he could do was to win her over with good words.

"Don't you know where I went?" Paige sneered.

"How am I supposed to know? Even you know that I've been in the hospital all this while," Liam pretended to be confused.

Paige chuckled in her heart. Didn't Liam just want to cut ties with her?

Since Liam did not intend to do so, nor did he stand up for his mistress and her daughter Paige had decided to keep that to herself.

However, this did not mean that she would just sit back and watch. Although she had plotted against Sophia in advance last night, Liam's trash assistant had not been dealt with. She didn't want to give him the power to act on her.

She had to deal with Kyrie today. She thought about it and she chuckled.

"Okay, then let me tell you about my night. Last night, I felt dizzy after drinking the juice prepared by Kyrie. I met a waiter when I was resting. She said that she was going to help me to the VIP lounge. However, I lost consciousness halfway. D*mn it, how did he happen to appear in the hotel at the same time? Liam immediately understood what had happened after hearing her story.

Joseph saved her last night.

He cursed in his heart while forcing a surprised look on his face, "Is that so? How could that happen?"

"I've been curious about that as well. How could that happen? Joseph caught the waiter and he interrogated her. She told him that Kyrie and Sophia had drugged my drink and were going to give me to that disgusting mansl*t, Declan Campbell. She also said that all of this was approved by you. Dad, did you approve of this?"

"That waitress must be lying! How is that possible? I am your father, how can I do such a thing to you?" Liam denied.

"You're right, I knew she was lying. You're my father, why would you do such a vicious thing to me? So I won't believe that you approved of this. However, there was indeed a trap for me to fall into last night. If you didn't set it up, the only two behind it must be Kyrie and Sophia, right?"
